Hey Swimmers - I believe that EVERYONE can swim without fear and with 100% confidence. We just need to maintain our comfort levels and learn to eliminate fear. You see, it is our engrained psychology of fear that is preventing us from learning to swim / learning to tread water, it is not our inability physically or incorrect technique.

Hi artsyhyd - welcome to the channel and thank you for the comment! You are NOT alone with treading water being a massive obstacle - it is mostly taught incorrectly and there are actually VERY simple techniques to help most adults gain 90% efficiency.
Here are your next 3 steps to accomplishing your treading water goals:
      1. Watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/bPd6BOhGQzc/v-deo.html - this is my lifes work in treading water, all in 1 single video. Beware its LONG... worth EVERY second.
      2. Schedule a FREE 15-minute call with me, Coach Jeff. I would love to learn more about you, your goals, & how I can help. You can find my calendar here: foxly.me/15MinConsultation
      3. NEVER Give up on YOU. The learn-to-tread process takes Time, Relaxation, and Love.
I look forward to being your new swim coach and guiding your journey to being a swimmer without fear and with 100% confidence.
      Coach Jeff

Half my face is in the water when trying to tread (I don’t stay afloat high enough) what can I do?

    • @caribeswim

Thank you for your comment! Everything is about ensuring we have the foundational principles in order when treading water:
      1. Relaxation 100%
      2. Breath control: Deep Diaphragmatic Breath
      3. Technique.
I would have you watch our long form content as it covers all 3 in great detail! You CAN do it!

    Why not float less energy

    • @caribeswim
      @caribeswim  Рік тому +3

Hi Jaredsouza - thank you for commenting and supporting the channel! Most adults want to have the ability to tread water. There are may applications > mostly recreational but also for survival aspects! The tough part is that most swimming programs are expecting adults to already be comfortable in the water so they skip the entire relaxation phase, that helps create buoyancy.
      ---
I agree that floating takes less energy but it is a different skill all together! Is there anything swimming related that we can support you with?
      Keep Treading and thanks again!
