I called this law firm to assist me in filing a law suit against a dealer for improper mutliple repair work that ultimately rendered my vehicle undrivable (under lifetime warranty) and they pretty much blew me off. They were nice on the phone and kind about it, but they weren't interested in helping me.
Same here. They didn’t even go over my case. I asked them about the forged signature in the final buyers guide that was changed at 1:15 am the day after I bought the truck and they didn’t know about it. Meaning all the information I gave them was for nothing. They told me my case is no good. I asked to speak to Whitney and I was hung up on. Crazy!
@ It’s real strange. I asked how they didn’t think my signature being forged and changed at 215 was not grounds for action. The lady on the phone said “what signature?” The never read my paperwork. Wild stuff.

The closer asks you if you know what the lemon law is, of if you need it explained. That's a slick way to get you to initial the statement where you GIVE UP your rights under this law and agree to ARBITRATION. YOU pay the arbitrator and the dealership gets to CHOOSE the arbitrator. If you question this, closer will tell you no dealership will sell a car without you giving up this right.
A dealership was very clear the the car had a spotless Carfax and no accident history, and I find a envelope in the glove box after purchasing the car that is a literal itemized list of all the parts needed to repair the car after a accident, 2 copies from the original dealership and one from the pervious owners insurance. How strong of a case would I have that they deceived me to sell the car.

I bought a car, was told I had to buy a list of things or the bank will not finance. was odd because the car only had 300 miles on it but was being sold as used. also found it odd they brought it out extremely dirty for first look and test drive. after I signed, they washed it and that's when I noticed the wheels were damaged. I was referred to the sales manager and he told me I signed so it mine now. turned his back and walked away. over time I began to notice ununiform gaps between the body panels and the wheel alignment always seems to be off. Carfax they showed me checked out no accidents, but I fear they somehow they avoided reporting the damage to this car.

Took my Maryland used car dealership purchased truck to another dealer 2 days after purchase to have alignment checked. Needs 2 front wheel bearings, brakes, serpentine belt and front right axle. A 90-day warranty on the car. A year pass and we began to have trouble with the engine running hot. We took it to the Hyundai dealership to have it diagnostic on it. Hyundai determined that the previous owner coolant sealing in the engine. Causing the engine to run hot and destroy it. The dealership will not take no responsibility what should I do. .

Hi I am from West Palm Beach I understand that you are Maryland. My wife purchase a vehicle from the dealership with a Carfax saying nothing was wrong with the car. Said that there were no work done on the engine before we bought it.
Hello thank you for the great content! I wonder if you know any lawyers as great as yourself that deal with her similar cases here in Indiana? I bought a used car from a used car dealerships here and they did stated in 'carfax report" that engine is CHECKED but never indicated that the engine has an excessive engine oil consumption issue that required a second test by Volvo car dealership. Instead, this used car dealer didn't complete the 2nd test and went ahead and sold us the car without disclosing such issue. Now the car needs a new engine. The extended service warranty sold to us by the used car dealer refused to pay up too despite it's covered under our insurance n instead of agreeing Volvo dealership to proceed with $350 excessive engine oil test, the extended warranty company insisted a $1600 full diagnostic test. Our claim is now denied cuz they said we should do an excessive engine oil test THEN RUN ANOTHER FULL diagnostic test that cost $350+1600++ again n they'll decide. HELP
Educational content Dan thanks. I have a question, a dealership in Ohio put in a special order for a vehicle on my consent. Now I cannot wait for that vehicle because my credit Union only allows me 60 days of the approval they gave me. So I looked else where. I signed no agreement and I gave no deposit. Am I obligated to purchase this vehicle now?? Thanks for your help.
After purchasing my car I found out that the first 1 page paperwork that was printed out has my final price. Then after signing the paperwork that was printed out has several pages has another price. and the financing company is my credit union I got the copy print out from them for my own records, that buying price was different. Price example 1 page 15, 000 salesperson told me 1 page print out as well 2 page 26, 000 dealership several pages print out. 3 page 17, 000 financing company
How bout sending you a txt saying your finance application has been approved on a car a d when u get there suddenly it not approved but they can sell u some you don't want
I got 2006 Mercedes e350 last month. I have to change my suspension, power steering fluid, and all of my spark plugs and now my engine light is on. What should I do???
When it comes to car loan contracts in Canada, nobody gives a shit about anything said or done during the 'sales' process. My last purchase saw the dealership inflate my income 20% on the loan application, make promises they can't keep, encourage me to misrepresent my trade and so much more it is ridiculous. When I confronted the dealership about this, they said I provided that number (which I know I didn't) and they had signed paperwork with that number. As a result of 'encouraging' me into a new car even the dealership sales manager said I should not have been sold, my finances are absolutely ruined. The damage is at least $60,000 if I wanted to get rid of what I have now and get back what I had before. I don't wish this horrible situation on anyone.
Hi, I suspect that a Nissan dealership cheated my lady out of $6,000. They suggested she should get a new transmission. The only problem she had was a failed solenoid. When she got the car and I drove it felt and sounded exactly the same except the solenoid was replaced. Is there a way to tell if the transmission is the same one and was never changed ? Will the original transmission have any numbers or markings that will match the car from its original build date ? If so, I would like check and be able to prove that the dealership robbed her of $6,000
Yes, take it to a trusted mechanic and ask for the inspection. Also ask the dealer for the receipt for the new transmission they supposedly purchased. If they refuse, considering filing a DMV/MVA/Attorney General complaint.
Hi. Great video. Any advice for this, please? When I purchased my Veloster, gently used, the #1 setting on the blower for heat and air didn't work. The service scheduler, when I asked to have it fixed at purchase time, stated that he bought his new and the #1 also didn't work or do anything and that's how it works. Months later, each setting failed leading to an electrical burn out in the unit to the tune of over $700 cost to me....I went to a private mechanic for the repair, yet part was genuine Hyundai. After research, this is a known problem with the Veloster and if not remedied early it progresses to damage the unit. If this is suit worthy, is 2 years correct in my NJ statute of limitations and who would you kindly refer me to in S. Jersey? TY
Hello. I purchased a car about 2 weeks ago in NY and then moved to TX in 2 days. Even though the car already has inspection until January 2024, the dealership told me that this car still needs some kind of inspection (photo inspection) and they asked me to bring this car back to NY. They knew that I was moving to TX and I specifically asked them if I needed to do anything else for this car and they said no. I might need a lawyer in this case. Do you know any good, experienced lawyer in the state of NY who might take this case? Thank you in advance. Giorgi
hi right now I bought a car that the owner claimed the engine and trans was good condition, ended up havibg a blown head gasket; do I have an up on the case?
Hello sir, I bought my 2015 F150 truck back in August 2015 at 3mi odometer from the Ford dealers lot. Now, 2023 of July I decided to sell my truck at Carmax CA and found out shocks me when they said, it appears in the record I am the 2nd owner and I replied that cannot be and that is impossible because we are the first owner. We felt disappointed by that report because all along me and my wife bragging to ourselves this is our first brand new purchased vehicle since we got stable in life and come to find out its a lie? My question to you sir, what is your advice to us, shall we just ignore it and forget about if maybe this is only a honest mistakes or misunderstanding ? Or shall we do something about it in order stop this issue going on in the future to other buyers? Thank.
Ex- -Dealer sold (and dealer in house financed) a salvaged title vehicle (not made clear to buyer of the title condition) - Dealer also sold buyer “insurance “ - Dealer sold this buyer a “warranty “ - dealer has been contacted rigorously in attempt to retrieve repairs (vehicle is great need of mechanical repairs) and dealer is avoiding all contact -- having a very difficult time securing council to rep Laws clearly state dealer is in extreme violation of laws - buyer simply wants all moneys refunded and to clear the contract Need advice asap
Okay well I have one question for you I brought in my car to lithia to get it fixed in two weeks after I brought it in because they were waiting on part supposably they sold my vehicle from out under me and they told me it was which was not true because that's right when the pandemic hit and things were not going as well but I kept trying to call and try to work with him I even sat in their office and they ignored me the whole time so technically they stole my what legal grounds do I have at that point
In this shortage market, what to do if they informed us the car would be delieverd by 3-4 months, later on 6-7 and now they are telling us they are going to provide new 2023 and cancelling the 2022 models. Any suggestions

What if my dealer lied in my contract about a down payment they told the loaner that I put down 3000 and I only put down 1500. I was told by the dealer to tell the bank loaners I put down 3000 and I agreed to at the time but I am no longer willing to so I’m not answer the phone for the bank about the deal I made with the dealer
Do u have any idea who I can contact in the state of oregon? I filed a complaint with the ag and they didn’t receive a response and told me since the dealership doesn’t respond they closed the case

I am literally going through hell right now. I think I need legal action . I had purchased a Audi 2016 in 2020 and my engine misfired and was totaled in 2021. I found another dealer ship and what I didn’t know was they were a sister dealership to where I purchased my Audi . I purchased a bmw 650i put down 11,000 and I purchased warranty . I asked them For the Carfax and the history of the car because I didn’t want to go through hell again . When I left the lot a week later I needed a oil change and I called the dealership and asked them why do I need an oil change already ? They said well it’s a used car . I left it alone and got an oil change . 6 months down the line my engine started shaking and some more . I literally stayed on top of my car with the oil change and everything . My Audi did the same thing and it came from there other dealership I don’t know what to do next but at this point I am thinking going through a legal matter . A lot of people have complained about Global auto outlet in temple hills about there car being a lemon .
I purchased a car at the highest interest rate and price. Was told it would be same exact car that was on the lot. After signing. I was told the car would be brought from somewhere else. This mystery car was used. But apparently had no previous owners? It had blood spattered on the ceiling, antenna was broken off amongst other issues. I was taken full advantage of. I was very pregnant and needed to get off my feet and they preyed on me for that reason. Can I sue for this car that I did not truly sign for?
Hi I live in Texas can you represent me? I have an issue with a dealer where I got my replacement vehicle from were they pretty much of a charge me and I’ve got proof to that effect .
Hi camping world of alvarado Texas sold me a " brand new " unit with water damage , that ended up being a second hand. They also forced me to use financing or wouldn't sell me the unit. The manufacturer , Thor told me its a sedond unit and have record if the forst owner, as I was claiming a warranty. Is that a good case ? The dealer is on Texas and I'm in Florida. What kind of attorney do I need?
@J L I flew to Texas from FL to close the deal. The price advertised online is the price. It did not say about special financing or any other requisites or special conditions. . I had a 80k cashier check ready for this with me , only once I did the inspection is when they dropped the bomb. After spending money on Flys, uber for an hr. You think I'm gonna say no ? Do you think I'm gonna walk out? Well , I actually did. I test them, But no one chase me. I had lunch and went back to close the deal. Even the sales guy told me is illegal. I am in the process of getting an atourney
The owner that I talked to said I would get a ks title and a couple months go by and he lied and said sorry I didn’t know it was a Missouri title now I gotta do a lot of stuff is there a way to sue
The Dealer made my parents sign the contract without telling them or ever discussing they were charging $1495, they come home they started doing the math and the numbers didn’t add up with the final total of the contract, we go back to the dealer and ask them and the sales man says he didn’t have time to talk about an extra “fee” so he just added to the total. They basically lied they don’t have proof of charging that “fee” and I’m trying to look for a attorney here in Chicago Illinois, please let me know of any good attorney 🙏🏻
State law usually sets out the charges or fees that a dealer is allowed to charge in addition to the advertised price. These charges/fees usually have to be disclosed in a certain way. In Maryland, an acquisition fee is not one of the allowed additional charges.

Dan I’m down in Florida and hopefully you know somebody that can help me. The manufacture denied my claim because the dealer failed to submit my service records for my claim. My car needs a new engine and it’s still under factory warranty. Because the receipts were never sent claim was denied because it looked like I neglected the services. I contacted corporate and told them I have receipts of all services. They refused to accept them because the case is closed and cannot be reopened. The dealer tells me now that they sent them but corporate said they didn’t. Then said dealer said corporate denied the claim and stated sludge. But I have a voicemail from corporate stating they didn’t receive records and they denied it because the said dealer stated sludge. It’s a he said she said between corporate and dealer. Meanwhile I’ve been paying for a car for 3 months and nobody has answers for me and nobody wants my service records. Which by the way the records are from the dealer.
Need help asap So I found a truck at a used car lot and it was $9995. I don’t have the best credit so I asked the salesman what would be the best way to go about this if I wanted to purchase his car he asked his boss and the boss says if you get $4000 down we can finance the vehicle so a couple weeks go by and I bring in $4000. I sign all the paperwork and they said they don’t have any finance yet but shouldn’t be a problem with the $4000 down so I signed the contract and nothing happens a week goes by and they give me a call and asked me about my insurance information and said OK great so about three weeks go by and I haven’t received any paperwork from the finance institute or the dealership stating that they’ve got me financing so I sit there and wait another few months go by and still nothing so basically the dealership didn’t give me finance and they have the title of the vehicle still now in my phone numbers haven’t changed my address hasn’t changed and nothing changed and it’s been about a year and a half now I’ve registered the vehicle twice because I had to get my handicap plates on there and also pay for registration now it’s been about a year and a half still and I want to trade the vehicle in but their name of the dealership is still on the title. Well I called Dealwrship and told them that I need to get the title and they said that Andrew wasn’t in but please bring the vehicle and so they can confirm it and it sounded kind of shady so before I bring the vehicle and I wanna get someone’s advice on this because I did everything I was supposed to do I didn’t receive any literature or MIL via finance Institute of phone calls and don’t you think the vehicle been Repo if I didn’t pay the finance company, so I’m not sure what to do with the legal restrains are and I don’t want to drive in his dealership in heaven say or we only vehicle when I get my money or anything like that what should I do I do again they said they only get financing and it looks like they never did my theory is they took the vehicle in for about 3500 bucks and then get in the 4000 in cash and let it be a swipe but now that I’ve called him I’m kind of worried about

After purchasing my car I found out that the first 1 page paperwork that was printed out has my final price. Then after signing the paperwork that was printed out has several pages has another price. and the financing company is my credit union I got the copy print out from them for my own records, that buying price was different. Price example
1 page 15, 000 salesperson told me 1 page print out as well
2 page 26, 000 dealership several pages print out.
Good luck hope you get helped and finally the little people wins once .. except we never win..
I am in California I was sold a car with out a smog is there any in Atorney in California
Don’t you have a warranty on your transmission

Thank.

Ex-
-Dealer sold (and dealer in house financed) a salvaged title vehicle (not made clear to buyer of the title condition)
- Dealer also sold buyer “insurance “
- Dealer sold this buyer a “warranty “
- dealer has been contacted rigorously in attempt to retrieve repairs (vehicle is great need of mechanical repairs) and dealer is avoiding all contact
-- having a very difficult time securing council to rep
Laws clearly state dealer is in extreme violation of laws
- buyer simply wants all moneys refunded and to clear the contract

I am literally going through hell right now. I think I need legal action . I had purchased a Audi 2016 in 2020 and my engine misfired and was totaled in 2021.
I found another dealer ship and what I didn’t know was they were a sister dealership to where I purchased my Audi . I purchased a bmw 650i put down 11,000 and I purchased warranty . I asked them
For the Carfax and the history of the car because I didn’t want to go through hell again . When I left the lot a week later I needed a oil change and I called the dealership and asked them why do I need an oil change already ? They said well it’s a used car . I left it alone and got an oil change . 6 months down the line my engine started shaking and some more . I literally stayed on top of my car with the oil change and everything . My Audi did the same thing and it came from there other dealership
I don’t know what to do next but at this point I am thinking going through a legal matter . A lot of people have complained about Global auto outlet in temple hills about there car being a lemon .
Try an MVA complaint if this is in MD.

I need a Attorney in Utah do you know of any? 🙏
Do you have a license for Alabama

Good afternoon how are you doing.
What if you changed your name and they didn’t pull up credit .. but did under your old name .. so the entire contract is under wrong name
Do yk any similar lawyers like yourself in Houston
Can you work for California.
Very respectful.
Do you have any connections in Indiana..?
Can you refer me to any attorneys in Texas ?
Recommend lawyer in fL ?
Are you required to pay an acquisition fee
State law usually sets out the charges or fees that a dealer is allowed to charge in addition to the advertised price. These charges/fees usually have to be disclosed in a certain way. In Maryland, an acquisition fee is not one of the allowed additional charges.
Do you have a good partner in Houston that I can be referred to?

Can I sue the dealer that lied on the vehicle features?
The same happened to me, they told me my car had a list of features and my car didn't go have a single feature mentioned.

So I found a truck at a used car lot and it was $9995.
