2k14s graphics were perfect for most players, but some player models like Damian Lillard's and Kyrie Ivring's looked awful.

March to May is commonly known as patch 4. In MyTeam it kinda solved "little man syndrome" it had earlier since any PG below 6'3 not named Westbrook were almost unusable (kinda like 2k18 and 19). After that guys like AI, Kyrie were top tier and Onyx GOATmeer GODson become undisputed GOAT of 2k15 MT.
I loved 2k15 and I wish the servers were up so I can go back and experience the online features

I remember taking 40 ovr auto generated players on my gm and turning them into 99 ovrs.

NBA 2K10 (Kobe) and NBA 2K11 (MJ) are my all time favorite games because graphics look good, music was good, it was challenging. Those 2 games can also play on low end computers.

Agree. 2k15 iš the best nba game on ps4 and xbox one. Gameplay was great. Scoring was great, if you was open you was making shots, not unlike these days nba2k. Graphics on 15 was realistic. These days they look as if they are painted lol

Braiden B you got bad taste. This game was ass. I could literally make every fuckin jump shot with my eyes closed. Just keep going side to side a few times n the defender will fall away and all you got to do is pull up and it’s green no matter what. Easiest 2k ever and it’s not even close.

One thing I hate about 2k15 is the animation that pops up when I try to defend, it’s like the player does the “nae nae” and then the enemy just straight blows by me and that ticked me off a lot.

My only guess is the lighting began to take a toll on the game and hardware with the gameplay improvements after 2K14. But I completely agree - even I remember the same disappointment with the graphics when I downloaded 2K15. The visual difference is pretty striking

I still play 2k15 myleague in 2022. Imo it has one of the best myleague experiences of all the 2ks. It's missing a few features like summer league but the ingame gameplay is better than newer ones (except 2k16), progression isnt broken, and the generated rookies dont all look the same. In 2k16 all the generated rookies look the same and no tats and for some reason an unrealistically large portion are asian. In the more recent 2ks progression seems totally broken, after like 3 years every team is balanced and all the scrubs have progressed to 80-85 ranking. It's too bad 2k moves backwards with myleague, it's the only part of the game I play.

Yep they took away the 2k14 lighting/shaders & court reflections.. it was waxing the PS4 & XB1 gpu lol.. 2k won’t admit it but they overdid it with 2k14 for the hardware at the time, had to scale back graphically for space so they could add more animations & depth to other modes.
Even though the graohical downgrade of 15 somewhat pissed me off, I LOVE 15 just everything was perfect imo.

What i think happened is that they hit a WALL graphically for 15, and had to decide between smooth game play with a consistent framerate, or better graphics that strain the system with inconsistent framerates.
We know what choice they made.

The graphics in this game were good but yes it did get worst some how. On that note this is one of my favorite 2ks ever made. Reason being is that the gameplay was very nice and fun. This game falls in my top 3 b ball games of All-Time. 1. 2k16, 2. 2k15 3. 2k11

Even though it’s me being picky, I’ve never really liked the baggy uniforms in 2k. Players wear their uniforms more fit to their body nowadays unlike in the past. That’s one of the tiny things I like more about live than 2k.
Probably just depends on when you grew up watching basketball. The bag is shorts are a huge piece of nostalgia for anybody that grew up in the '90s.
