This game looks so sick, but... I really wish the momentum and movement from original Sonic Generations came back with this game. The original Hedgehog engine was my favorite
Just going off of what I'm seeing: The Biolizard fight looks like it has the ground mobility of Sonic Frontiers in the Open Zone. He's able to turn on a dime rather than taking the super wide corners that come with the more tank-like controls you see in the boost games, like Unleashed, Gens or Frontiers' Cyberspace But on top of that, Choc makes a full 180 turn during a jump *without* using a double-jump. My only real complaint about Sonic's controls in Frontiers' Open Zone was the lack of lateral mobility on his jump. You could not adjust or aim that thing left or right once you left the ground. Being able to move like that in this game.... If my eyes aren't deceiving me and it controls like it looks, this might be the best controlling Sonic game since the Adventure titles And the level design looks great. I'm already seeing alternate paths I'm itching to explore and test out. When I first saw gameplay, it reminded me of some of the wide empty hallway sections in Frontiers and I was afraid it'd be a nothing-burger of spectacle with a couple jumps and homing attack chains But seeing the full level in better quality, I can say this looks at *worst* on par with Colors' best levels and potentially as great as Sonic Generations' level designs That combined with the best animations we've seen since Unleashed (the level end animations make Sonic Gens' look primitive by comparison) interviews intent on clarifying and fixing Shadow's character, the emphasis on story with Izuka saying they want this to be a good starting point for new fans to learn about Shadow and a refresher course for veterans, the dialogue in stages showing way more story focus than Sonic Gens ever had and the fact we have a current minimum of NINE confirmed Acts; And I'm genuinely purely excited for this game, which is a 180 from how I felt after the initial announcement. (I already own Gens on PC, and Shadow's initial reveal didn't give me much to be excited over with how little we saw) Minimum of nine btw because we know there's two acts per "Zone" and we've seen 3 so far. Then there's interview confirmation we haven't seen all the zones, meaning at least two more acts. And a DLC level coming out this holiday (probably in time with Sonic 3) but that one could be a one act one-off But still: NINE stages. That's as many as Modern Sonic! And there could be even more. If there's 2 per game like Final Chase and Radical Highway for SA2, Rail Canyon and Egg Fleet for Heroes, and Kingdom Valley and Flame Core from 06 That's 12 acts! It's weird that the Space Colony ARK stage used The ARK music from Shadow the Hedgehog as a placeholder, yet it now uses a remixed version of Final Rush's theme. I could be wrong, but it feels like an original stage with The ARK aesthetics rather than a remixed version of Final Rush, Final Chase, or The ARK like with Generations' original stages.
Since the Radical Highway here is just a short segment within a bigger stage, I could see there being a full stand-alone Radical Highway level that uses the remix from the trailer.

The remix in the trailer is a banger get out of here
@@chrange9714 tbh, it was just okay for me
There both good, but a different vibe. The trailer one is more upbeat while the in game one is more intense and intimidating with the guitar and monstrous riff
So the music is actually final rush!
Them throwing that dnb and dubstep is so badass
13:14 The C-Rank Pose
Thank you my sonic tuber
11:36 not bro making a Bijuu Bomb
Kirk Thornton is killing it with his performance here now that he finally has good voice direction
I just played through Adventure 2 Battle. I was sold within the first minute. And idk something about the screen recording really jolted my inner gamer child self whenever i was excited for leaks
Guys I can't wait til november, help
this final rush remix sounds more fire than what i expected
I'm surprised they didn't rerecord the biolizards screams using roger and kirk like they did with ryan and the og shadow va back in 01
David Humphrey
Ryan and David didn’t do the Biolizard scream to my knowledge. That was just the Japanese voice actors Junichi and Koji
@@Bertiboy thank you for correcting bartiboy
It said HOLD TRIANGLE!!!
this is so radical highway, i love it!
I really wish they didnt use the flying animation the gave him in forces for his boost and instead made him look like he was skating harder. The skating animation from Sonic generations was the best.
Don't know why they love that animation so much.
@@Isaiahmob06 because shadow has air shoes for a reason he boosts and uses them
@@jboyathegamerI like it but you can barely tell he is moving, it almost looks like he is just staying completely still since there is only like 2 frames of animation, I wish they used his air boost animation since it looks better if you ask me
I come back to this video just to listen to that biolizard remix. Song is so gas.
6:16/13:14 Victory themes and rank poses
Wait the audio was captured through a Controller? How?!
IMPOSSIBLE!!!!
The Dualsense has a microphone
@@thawkade I get that but how exactly did he get the audio?Did he hook it up to an Audio device or something?
FINALLY, they took of that FUCKING boost filter!!
this is probably one of the best sonic game openings in recent memory
you're so goated for this
YES!!!!!! Oh I’m pumped for sure now.
FINAL RUSH REMIX IS SWEET! I cant wait for the soundtrack!
Ok so if there's a different remix here are they at all gonna use the Radical Highway remix from the SGF trailer in game
Since the Radical Highway here is just a short segment within a bigger stage, I could see there being a full stand-alone Radical Highway level that uses the remix from the trailer.
I just come back to listen to the final rush remix
