Trust me, as a white sox fan, this was one of the most fun and entertaining games to watch all season. Coming from the 21 game losing streak where the team would be down 10 runs in the first innings. It was fun to watch this offensively weak team defy the odds and try to mount a comeback. Even though the Sox lost, it was a good loss with the Sox battling it out til the very last out.
My Lord, this ump was a clown show. Multiple strikes were called balls, and multiple balls were called strikes. No wonder why Taillon was having issues with the runs

Walking him and loading the bases took GUTS. Contrast this with Smiley who yet again was tagged for a homer in his one-inning slot. He's lazy, got behind in the count and threw the meatball (actually the fifth sinker I think it was in a row--getting his sinker to work was more important to him than not giving up a run.) He did NOT have the guts or patience to walk the guy when he couldn't get him out. As far as the game, it was like an after school special about never underestimating your opponent--watched our opponent get within one and load the bases in the 9th before securing the happy ending.
