BEAUTIFUL!! I love his unique, haunting voice.
Have always love Cat Steven's music. He is a great singer songwriter with a very unique sounding voice. One of my first albums I ever bought was his "Tea For The Tillerman". The whole album is great. So is the album "Teaser & The Firecat". His first big hits were "Matthew & Son" & "The First Cut Is The Deepest" in 1967. He has had so many great songs in his career such as "Father & Son", "Moonshadow", "Peace Train", "Morning Has Broken" etc. He is still recording & performing live & his voice still sounds great.
Cat was great. Right after this concert he left and became Muslim. Father and son.

Patti D'Arbanville was his girlfriend-she was an actress & model. Even though they were splitting up she was good enough to be in the black & white music video for this.

This is a metaphorical song. She's not dead, but only in the sense that she's gone, because she left him. Patty D'Arbanville was his girl friend and she broke up with him . He wrote "Baby. it's a Wild World" to her. She became a model for photographer David Hamilton and acted in one of his art films titled "Bilitis" . Later on in the 90s she starred in a TV family series, as the mother of a couple of teenagers .
