the original version had a tone that made me think that she was trying to stress to the person it was intended to. this one felt like she had come to the acceptance of what all had happened and was self reflecting. it's beautiful when you think of it that way.
Not even the tone, the original is a bit quicker and this acoustic version is slower. The original feel paced, like it's expressing urgency, and the acoustic is relaxed and very mellow. Just like you said, as if it conveys acceptance. I can't even image how amazing this sounds on balanced, flat EQ headphones.

This is one of the most beautiful acoustic versions of a song I've ever heard in my life. I need this to be on streaming services 😭 I'm probably just going to rewatch this a billion times lol. I prefer all of her live versions of this song vs the album version. There's something beautiful about the way the song gets slowed down a bit live. I got used to it before hearing the album version, so the faster pace threw me off at first. But there's also something about her voice live that's simply better than the edited studio tracks.
That natural ethereal voice of hers is it ^~^ and the way the emotions move the song

Halsey's got such a great team behind her. Just look at that background. The setup. The lighting. Her background singer/guitarist. They say great people inspire others, and Halsey's certainly inspired a lot of people. She's got so many good people who work with her, giving her the best platform to be the artist she is, and I think that's such a testament to who she is as a person.

Hobbistically I dealt with all these things, the difference was that my voice does not equal with the voice of Halsey and when it comes to the instrument, I was captivated by the piano. Ironically, my profession does not involve any of these activities because I am a psychologist. I heal the minds of others and my own with the help of art. My point is I love my job, but Halsey is the lucky one because she can do it professionally.

OH MY GOSH I feel like some of the notes of that guitar line are hidden on the studio version. The guitar line is beautiful and calming and I feel like they really exposed it in this version I love it so much.
