What a straightforward, down to earth guy. Inspiring to see a guy who has a lot of excuses to at like a big shot and he's just like "I'm just a dude with a cool job who goes to work and isn't a entitled to anything."
@Burnintreez321 same, but Snatch (2000) and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) are well worth watching if you like the crime or comedy genres. It's a shame he hasn't been in a great film for 19 years.
This is the most I've heard Jason talk intelligently in any interview. He makes a lot of sense, love the part where describes what an actors job really is and how it isn't anything more than just adding to the vision and art.
The chemistry between Jason Statham and the Rock in the film (Fate of the Furious) was INSANE, like I just finished watching it and wanted to see if they had any interviews together
I'm so glad even Jason Statham realizes he plays the same character just in different movies. It makes me like him so much more then I already do. He seems like a really fucking cool guy.
I'm so impressed with Jason Statham! What a cool, down to earth guy. Jason seems so humble and just one of those rare breed of movie stars who would be so fun to hang with over lunch and a beer. Great actor and seems like a great dude.
bobby cole sounds like he came from humbled beginnings, and stayed humble through his rise to fame. Doesn't take himself to seriously. Seems very chill.
He sounds like the mopey editor from Boogie Nights after they switch to video, "What it is, what it is." I'm not complaining, what Jason said was fucking great!
I’m glad he mentioned Spy because when i saw that movie i though that Jason Statham was, BY FAR, the best thing in it. I’m confident he has great comedic chops, and would be nice to see more of that. Especially since he enjoyed it
Ong Bak 2 and Tom Yum Goong are two totally different movies. Tom Yum Goong (The Protector) was never meant to be Ong Bak 2, and they did eventually release two sequels to Ong Bak, titled...well...Ong Bak 2 and Ong Bak 3.
one of the greatest movies of all time, tony jah and donnie yen would be great, donnie yen's a legend in my books from ip man and fist of fury. both of them. they put michael jai white in there somehow it'd be killer.
Changed my view of him. Mean machine , snatch and Expendables I love. Crank was mental and at least tried something different. Respect his view of himself in admitting he Isn't some stage actor. Fair play
OMG " It's another fuckin' movie i'dnt it" LOL - I fuckin' love this guy. He gets more adorable the more I see of him both as himself and as whatever characters he plays. Underrated as an actor, too....
I love the way he speaks… That speech pattern, cadence, etc and it brings me right back to one of my favorite movies “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”.
Jason Sthatham is one of the most likable dudes. Literally every generation seems to like him. His Monk character is still one of the most hilarious characters
I trained with jason statham in around 2004 I think it was in mma. He came to the gym I trained at, guy ritchie invited him there guy riitchie and trained together practically every day in those days. Jason statham was a very nice guy is what I remembered and he wasn’t huge yet but still known from snatch
I completely agree bc he is a Englishman and the character James Bond is also English so it would make sense and I also think it would be an amazing movie to watch
I'd never heard that Statham was arrogant or an asshole or anything but I wouldn't have been surprised if he had been one. Really am surprised though to see that he's actually a humble and down to earth guy who's totally cool with being typecast and just enjoys himself.
JASON STATHAM IS A GREAT ARTIST,NICE AND GREAT PERSON IN AND OFF SCREEN, LOVE HIM AND HE'S MOVIES ♥️👍🌹😅 Handsome tooo!!!!♥️👍👌❌ Hi JASON STATHAM , YOU'RE A LEO ♌ LIKE ME , LOVE IT ♥️🌹
Yeah, first impressions would tell you "oh, this guy is gonna be a cocky asshole", and in reality he's anything but. Then you have somebody like James Corden with his chubby, cherubic face and you assume he'd be affable but in reality he's a narcissistic monster. You really can't judge a book by its cover.
Justin Day hes better. Reason being theres an x factor about him. In his presence. And seems to be a bond on one level. A slient smart guy with mystery on another and he looks just cool.
Glad he brought up hollywood doing like 10 cuts in a 10 second fight, its fucking annoying as hell and its in every major hollywood movie, look at the Marvel's Civil war as an example.
Hit or miss with today's action but i get what you're saying. The winter soldier highway scene was one of the better edited choreography in my recent memory. Creed the first fight, where it's all one shot was just gold for me. And then of course theres mad max
Such a good dude, totally bullshit free, loved him in Spy with Melissa McCarthy Think he’s underselling his acting props he has great comedic timing. Great interview too guys. Cheers from NZ
I think Jason is a good actor , not in a Gary Oldman way, but, he is believable and you always feel invested in his characters. There is a element of humor in all his roles , which l like and is a very English actor quality.
I think that he knows so much about what to do and not to do in his movies, he is a legend, but he can’t stop moving around during his interview. I never knew that he talked so much, always was so quiet 🤫
Been a fan of Stathom since the movie "The One" with Jet Li, damn good action martial arts movie imo with a really dope premise behind it ... Than there was Transporter, guys always been a joy to watch on the big screen well before he came around to the Fast and Furious franchise.
What a straightforward, down to earth guy. Inspiring to see a guy who has a lot of excuses to at like a big shot and he's just like "I'm just a dude with a cool job who goes to work and isn't a entitled to anything."
Total geezer.
"It's another fuckin' movie, right?" He just doesn't give a shit.
Holy crap Jason Statham is a badass and so self aware of the fortunate career he's had. What a legend!
@Burnintreez321 same, but Snatch (2000) and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) are well worth watching if you like the crime or comedy genres.
It's a shame he hasn't been in a great film for 19 years.
Renewed RS I enjoy his movies still. I like watching good movies but also enjoy watching the daft action movies sometimes.
Renewed RS your delusional..plus he still getting paid fat..what do you earn
@@jaywalkercrew4446 why you mad lmao what do you care what I'm earning?
@@jaywalkercrew4446 I think you missed the comment I was responding to as well when the guy was shitting on Statham's career.
This is the most I've heard Jason talk intelligently in any interview. He makes a lot of sense, love the part where describes what an actors job really is and how it isn't anything more than just adding to the vision and art.
He plays down his acting. His acting is his style. Like clint eastwood. We need guys like this.
Jason needs his own Podcast, I'll listen to it all day.
Damn definitely one of those dudes you respect more when they open up a bit, would love to see him do 3 hours on JRE
Such a real guy, much respect.
I'm so impressed with Jason Statham! What a cool, down to earth guy. Jason seems so humble and just one of those rare breed of movie stars who would be so fun to hang with over lunch and a beer. Great actor and seems like a great dude.
well damn..i didnt think i could be a even more jason statham fan, but this interview just proved me wrong
bobby cole sounds like he came from humbled beginnings, and stayed humble through his rise to fame. Doesn't take himself to seriously. Seems very chill.
What a top bloke Jason is. Absolute champion
I love him, his personality and his movies! My favourite action star!! 😍😍😍 His action scenes are so genuine. Can't believe he's 50.
I didn't think it was possible but I like Jason Statham even more now
Your amaxing man great respect for your way you are
it's a fucking movie... that sums up Jason Statham career.
Lucas Mahon Most of his non-Guy Ritchie movies definitely fall under that umbrella.
Lucas Mahon lik he said himself, he's not a fucking actor
He sounds like the mopey editor from Boogie Nights after they switch to video, "What it is, what it is." I'm not complaining, what Jason said was fucking great!
Let me guess...you're the AC-TOR.
That sums up hollywood rather.
Always liked him as an actor but never knew anything about him. Now I respect him as well.
jason was magnificent in snatch. best performance of his career..
That's messed up that was his first job.
No, Tommy. It's tip top.
Interesting banter. Statham's bluntness about his experience in film making.
Jason Statham is so down to Earth an 100% COOL
I’m glad he mentioned Spy because when i saw that movie i though that Jason Statham was, BY FAR, the best thing in it. I’m confident he has great comedic chops, and would be nice to see more of that. Especially since he enjoyed it
We need a Crank 3!!!!
Andy E fuuuuuck yeaaaahhhhh. Jk. No.
what are they gonna do next? hook him up to a hand pump?
Andy E after they make Half Life 3
Nah.. we need Transporter 4
hell yeah
Super interesting and honest guy. Wish this was longer.
Am I the only one BEGGING for Jason Statham to be cast in the third John Wick movie? Shit, at least cast him as a true antagonist in 007.
Yo that scene in Ong Bak is legendary.
RedCycloneInc. damn right and these fuckers never seen it
That scene he's talking about is in Ong Bak 2 (The Protector) but Ong Bak 1 is just as awesome. Really cool that Statham brought that up.

Get this man on Rogan. Great interview Jim and Sam.
This man for sure cannot sit still no wonder he’s successful. He directed that energy towards work.
Jason is such a cool guy

I think they should make JASON STATHAM the next JAMES BOND!!!
Wow, actually sounds great, or a spin off of the Bourne movies
noooo..

That accent ❣️❣️❣️
I'm here..... only for that....
Quite powerful...
Great and honest interview.
Very refreshing.
What a real, down to earth guy. Despite being a huge movie star, he's still that humble guy who sold jewelry on the streets. Now I like him even more.
Humble guy, and to be fair to him, he was the best thing in Spy. Dude has comedy chops.
He was awesome in spy, maybe the funniest person in that movie.
I will never be able to hear Jason's voice without thinking of his film, "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" Incredibly fun film.
Jason Statham is indeed a Classy Guy!
Statham is up there for me in terms of action movie stars. With guys like Van Damme, Stallone, Arnold, etc.
Justin Day hes better. Reason being theres an x factor about him. In his presence. And seems to be a bond on one level. A slient smart guy with mystery on another and he looks just cool.
6:47 Jason admits that he's not a actor
It came pretty easy. I don’t get that it’s something he thinks is a big secret.
A nice honest guy, good at what he does without the big head, good work Jason x
Genuinely nice down to earth self aware guy.
Such a sexy rasp to his voice! Great laugh too 😁
dude came in so comfortable, seemed very interested. cool dude
Other people: a human life is on the line
Jason: there's 300 mils on the line
We need Homefront 2
Holy shit. You wouldn't guess it from most of the roles he goes into, but Jason Stathom clearly knows a lot about storytelling.
This interview has made me like Jason even more! This guy is so bad ass.
Bro that's a huge land having him on the show .
Jason is BRILLIANT never tire of listening to him , love his sense of humour Rosie is one lucky lovely Lady too.
He's so likable
I became a huge fan since watching him in Guy Ritchie movies. Definitely an actor that seems real.
6:43 ... Thats some great modesty and respect to the art of acting !
Jason statham is my favorite actor
Джейсон такой классный! Его никогда не устанешь слушать и смотреть, его голос просто завораживает... обожаю тебя, ДЖЕЙ!🤗🤗❣❣❣❣❣🌺
Oh MANdy .... oooook. I loved singing along with him back n the day. xo
Lol...this dude is awesome.
He’s really the most handsome coolest looking bald guy ever, such a legend, Jason’s looking pretty good aswell.
Wow, I think this is the first actor I've heard talk positively about being typecast, usually, you hear nothing but bad things about it.
well, Jason is an exceptional athlete with amazing martial arts skills. not just anyone has that.
Glad he brought up hollywood doing like 10 cuts in a 10 second fight, its fucking annoying as hell and its in every major hollywood movie, look at the Marvel's Civil war as an example.
Its Hollywood laziness, movies still take time to train and choreograph action today, look at the Raid movies as a good example.
Liam Neeson jumps a fence www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/taken-3-took-14-camera-cuts-in-6-seconds-to-show-liam-neeson-jumping-a-fence-a6890791.html
And probably 6 cuts to open an elevator door
The Raid is probably the complete opposite. One of the best action movies ever.
Hit or miss with today's action but i get what you're saying. The winter soldier highway scene was one of the better edited choreography in my recent memory. Creed the first fight, where it's all one shot was just gold for me. And then of course theres mad max
What a good Actor is JASON STATHAM a down to earth guy with his interview like this ...
Jason STATHAM The Best Actor. I loveeeeeeee forever you. From Brasil 🇧🇷 🇧🇷 🇧🇷 🇧🇷 🇧🇷 🇧🇷 🇧🇷
This guy is a gangsta 😂😂😂
chipper and jason stratham can do a buddy cop comedy.
That's why John wick 1 and 2 is the best Hollywood action movies of this generation.
amen to that
The Equalizer and the Accountant = better than John Wick and John Wick 2
The Raid movies
Hollywood? Yes.... But the Raid films are on another level entirely.
@@TommyJereiah The Raid movies are not Hollywood, they are from Indonesia and The Raid movies are awesome though.

He has those iconic voice that every guy wish to have !!!
Jason would be the perfect James Bond.... period
Humble legend
this dude is cool as fuck.jason statham is the greatest stunt man turned actor.
The greatest stuntman ever turned actor is Jackie Chan
What a humble guy.

I've never seen a man bald so gracefully
I love his role in Snatch, not the biggest role but outstanding work, for one the movie was amazing as well
11:20 The Rock conversation begins. You're welcome, if ya smelllllllll
I loved crank the second one was a little over the top but still good would love a third
Transporter needs Statham back in the title role
What a class act.

I would buy jewelry from him. Super likable guy.
Love this man 😍❤️❤️
Jason has a Great Mind and Concept to Life i mean that Sincerely

oh and lock stock smoking barrel. if he was in it?
Yep he was, very much so.
