THANK YOU! This is the most comprehensive video I've seen.....I searched google and UA-cam and I'm so grateful that you broke it down for a newbie like me!
This is the video I've been looking for! Needed to figure out how to set an end date for a subscription. Stripe should pay you - this is much better than the info on their site. Thank you!
Hey!! This video has been SUPER helpful! BUT! I think Stripe changed their UI and the "Schedule Subscription" box isn't showing up for me. Is it still there or does it need to be done differently now? If it does need to be done differently, would love to know how! (from poking around it seems like it needs to be done via Phases?
Second question - if i wanted to send them a link to take initial payment to "lock them in" and then start a recurring payment from a few weeks later and have it end on a certain date how would i do that?
Hi Kamila, Do we need to add the names, email addresses of clients or do we automatically get their names and email address when someone subscribes to our product? Please help
So what I'm understanding I need to create 2 products, one for the initial payment and a second product to recover the remaining balance due in payments, is that correct?

The question is, if I don’t have my costumer’s payment cards, I need to send him an invoice like you did. But once he pays with that invoice. It starts to charge him automatically next months ? Or every month he will receive and invoice ?
It would charge him automatically as long as you set it up that way. You can then go back into the subscription and change it to bill automatically once the person has their CC on file
@@heartbehindhustle so, first I have to send to him the invoice.. after that I have to go to the customers subscription and change it to pay automatically ?? And next bill will be automatically charged without sending him another invoice

I have tried doing research on this and it’s impossible to find an answer which is why I usually just set the end date myself. But I am 90% sure it doesn’t include the initial payment.
It does include the initial payment. I just tested this on myself charging myself a $1 a day to figure this out. So I think you have to subtract one if you wanted them to pay over 3 months. Then they pay the first invoice then you set the cycle for 2 more months then that would make 3 payments.

Thank you! This help me a lot :)
This video is just what I’ve been looking for! So informative!! One question.. if the customer pays for the subscription via a button or a link, would you be able to change the scheduled billing date afterwards? So if a customer paid the initial payment any day out of the month, you could then recharge them on the first of every month from then on?
Yes you can
@@diamondtakeslife2382 I have the same question. Customer makes first payment at the end of the month but thereafter should pay on 25th of month. How do you change the payment date - I can't work it out. Thankd for the video - really helpful
Super helpful...exactly what I needed
Glad to hear it
Thank you, very helpful

None of this makes any sense? How do you just put a button onsite that users can click on and all of this happens automatically?
I use thrivecart to do it front end. This is the back end way to do it manually. Like i said in the video.
I need a business cach
What is your "checkout software that automates everything"?
Thrivecart :) www.heartbehindhustle.com/thrivecart I have several videos about it on the channel too
The first 2.5 minutes is a commercial FYI

This isn't working for me actually.
can I work for you?
And you look great!!
Thank you!
I need a business coach
Thrive cart or something like that is no longer needed. Stripe has made several in house solutions.
I wouldn’t agree. Thrivecart is still a great tool to use in addition. Stripe on its own doesn’t have affiliate management, Course hosting, funnels, or even offering PayPal as an option for some payments.
Next time please go straight to the point instead of wasting a 8 minute video
Next time, maybe be a little nicer. It’s free.
