If your watching the A10 Build this was covered in the Build but I figured it deserved it's own video so people could find it. Thanks for watching! Don't forget to check out www.thelightersideofrc.com/
Jonathan I'm so proud of you! You are a great example to all of us guy to not let ANYTHING stop you from doing your best! In spite of obstacles YOU my brother do beautiful work!!
Hi Jonathan, You make it look so easy, but it's the proper tools that make it easy. Seeing it done the correct way is worth a million words. :-) You and Katie stay safe.
GREAT VIDEO! Thank you so much for making this video. I just bought 5 planes from a nice guy that I know, the problem is that all the connectors are Futaba "drats" lol I fly Edge TX using all ELRS RX and TX One plane needs a 30" servo lead and the slot that it goes through will not allow a extention cables because the plug is to big This solves all my problems, so greatful to you for making this video! Also I want to tell you that what you are doing here and showing others that when you want something you make it happen some way or another You will inspire countless others! God Bless
Very good and very timely! I'm just now planning the electrical circuit of my Feibao F-15E. Knowing what certain accessories are called in English is crucial in order to locate and buy them. In addition to a good tutorial on how to put them together and what tools are necessary to do a good job. Thank you, Jonathan. I really appreciate it. Greetings from the other side of the equator line!
Hi Jon , Great explanation , for the newbies , however experienced they are !! Also great for promoting Molex Connectors , been using them for years ! Hey Jonathan you make this look so easy! I have the same crimper but it doesn't do a really good job when using cheap amazon pins. Where do you get t h e good pins, and can you buy them in bulk?
Great channel lots of interesting stuff! Two questions where do you get your Ashlock connectors (kits) and where do you get your Locktite hysol 9462 from I’ve been doing some searches but coming up a little short. I can find similar products but not the same products.
Thank you for your help..I going to check out .. just another question I about to finish my project the jet weight will be around 21 pounds dry which turbine you suggest ?
Ive see the Power being run as common before and it works. It does create a common point for failure if one of those positive or negatives were to have an issue.

Thanks! For these connectors I typically order everything from dreamworks in Florida. The pins come in packs of 24. Sort of bulk

Ashlok I order from Thunderbolt in canada or Dreamworks in florida. I order bulk 9462 from various suppliers.
@@thelightersideofrc much appreciated thank you.
Hi Jonathan, where I can find the wires and the connectors.
I generally order them from Dreamworks Rc in florida.
Thank you for your help..I going to check out .. just another question I about to finish my project the jet weight will be around 21 pounds dry which turbine you suggest ?
Would there be any issues in using just one pin each for all the positive and negative - i.e. all the + commoned together and all - commoned together?
Ive see the Power being run as common before and it works. It does create a common point for failure if one of those positive or negatives were to have an issue.
Jonathon. Where can I find the connectors. I have checked a couple of local hobby stores with no success. Thanks.
Hey Ted. I think Thunderbolt Rc carries them I always order them from dreamworks.
On those sites search “ Ashlok “
@@thelightersideofrc Thanks!
I’m in the U.K. 🇬🇧 any idea what these connectors are called over here if indeed they are available ?
Thanks in advance !
Hello David. I unfortunately only know them as Ashlok Connectors.
Housing? I think you mean insulation!
🙌
blue crimpers are junk get a single crimper and do 2 crimp.
Ive had nothing but great results with them and ive done thousands with the set I have.
