Had the same problem with same machine a couple years ago, couldn't find a video on how to replace the friction wheel anywhere. Didn't have a manual so I ended up taking half of the machine apart before I figured out how to get that wheel off, thought about posting a video but didn't because I thought there had to be an easier way. You definitely did it faster than I did. It's funny how mice love to get inside the drive housing, mine was just as full as yours when I started. It is a great machine, never let's me down. Thanks for posting the correct method of doing this!
Pretty hard to beat them. You can't kill these Hondas. This is why it didn't take long for me to get rid of this one. Sold on it's reputation alone. A guy drove about 2 hours round trip for this one. Thanks for watching. Cheers
Yeah, I would imagine you don't see enough or any snow to make use of one of these bad boys. Snowblowers are a staple up here in Canada. Keeps me busy in the winter. Thanks for watching my snowblower repair video from west Texas. Cheers
I miss working on my summer equipment as well. Unfortunately, there's not much use for mowers and chainsaws in my neck of the woods this time of the year. In the meantime, until spring arrives, please consider checking out the rest of my channel, as I have over 200 small engine related videos, over 100 of which would deal with mowers and chainsaws. Cheers
Honestly, I haven't come across any newer Hondas but for the price they're charging for them, I would hope the build materials and quality are top notch. Thanks for watching. Cheers

When are you repairing a mower again or a chainsaw?

Do you think the new HSS Hondas are built lower quality?

Ahh yes gasoline. The Canadian brakecleen
The old gas is always good for something. Good for starting bon fires too ;)
All you had to do was loosen up the nut on that bolt you pulled the spring off...
Thanks for the tip. Cheers
