sheperdsfireworks well it is the sequel to hyperdontia (in case anyone doesn’t know: hyper- too much/more than normal; dont- teeth; ia- pertaining to;;;; so it literally means a condition where there are more than the normal amount of teeth in the mouth). If the dentist treated it last time then maybe. Or maybe “throwing the treatment in reverse” could just be a phrase used to manipulate the patient.
A while ago, I left a comment on Hyperdonta saying that my sister was going to be getting her wisdom teeth removed, and yesterday she got them out. Since I wasn’t allowed to see her all day, I decided to take a picture of the final bit of this song where Nova has her mask off and Hyper’s jaw is gone, and send it to my sister. I did with a text saying- “Aren’t you glad that you didn’t wake up seeing this?” Needless to say. she was not happy.

This song and 'Hyperdontia' are bringing back the memories of one dentist I had when I was a teenager. I was there to simply fill up the cavity, and he started 'polishing' my teeth, to make them whiter, which I didn't ask for. I told him it really hurts and he just said 'It shouldn't hurt, I gave you anesthesia', indiscreetly assuming I was lying about the pain. I endured it for a bit, but the pain was making me nauseous and in the end, with a panic attack, I stormed out of the clinic with my cavity unfilled and my mouth bleeding. I've noticed something unusual. V Flower has been used for not only Japanese, but for other languages too. English is one, but heck, even Korean! She's being used to sing songs that she's not supposed to be built for, and they've become incredibly popular, which makes her different from other vocaloids that have been attempted to be used with other languages. Key phrase "supposed to". She sings English almost as fluently as most English voice banks. I don't know about Korean, but she also seems to do well there too. And she's becoming popular in songs like these here, almost like she transcends the language barrier. I love it, I love it a lot. And it's not a stretch to say that you, Ghost and Creep-P, are also responsible for her popularity. I congratulate you both; the songs are great and showcase her really well!
Digital Native True.. Flower really is something. English Spanish Japanese Like wtf, she only has a Japanese voice bank and yet she stills rock at singing in another language! That’s to cool. Sorry for my English!
Lene Lampe I have listened without them. You can understand them. The hard part is “with a small pinch let’s administer the Novocaine”. All words in that besides novocaine .
two theories for how the doctor got their scars.... one is that they operated on themself in an experiment the other is that the same thing happened to them as a child and the scar is a result of having their jaw ripped off and re-attached
I've only now noticed that when Flower takes the mask off that there's subtle stitch marks on the sides of her mouth. Which means she sew her jaw back on herself after losing it in Hyperdontia. This means Novocaine was after Hyperdontia. Flower is taking revenge

Doctor: *walks into room* so, you want me to pull a tooth right? Me: Yeah Doctor: alrighty, it'll only hurt for a moment *riPs out jaw* Me: THE FU- Doctor: oh, oops Me: *angry gurgling noises*
Fun story: Today I went to the dentist for a filling, and they gave me laughing gas, and they told me that they were going to give me novocaine and my mind automatically jumped to this song and for like 30 seconds I had to try to stop myself from freaking out because I thought they were gonna pull my teeth out :) It was probably made worse because I can still remember what happened at my last dentist (the place got shut down due to medical malpractice, but that's a whole other story)
Ok fine here's the story (it's really not that interesting): So I went in for like a routine cleaning, and I had never been there before (I moved to a new city). It was like in this tiny apartment thing next to a Mexican restaurant, and the lobby was just this empty room with like 5 foldable chairs and a desk, and it was unusually quiet, but I was just like "yeah this is fine" and waited for the appointment. So the dentist said that I needed a filling, which was weird becase I didn't notice any cavities before, but ok. So I make a other appointment and come back, and they put me under, did the filling (or something, idk what they did) and afterwards I was paying the bill and there were like 7 extra things that I didn't remember asking for, but I was still kinda out of it, so I didn't think to question anything (because I'm stupid). I went in for this follow-up thing, and the guy said that I needed another procedure, but I ended up getting a second opinion and there was no need for it, and then I never went to the place again. After it got shut down I looked up the reviews and there were people saying that they had teeth unnecessarily removed and stuff like that.
so when i listen to things like this, i like to act out what’s going on as if i’m in a musical. I live with my dad and i usually do this in the living room which is connected to the kitchen/dining room. He literally walked out of his room as the jaw ripping part came on and saw me pretend to rip someone’s jaw off. He goes “Having fun in there?” and i responded with “Ripping jaws off is hard work.” and he just laughed and left saying “Well i’ll give you a good Yelp review.” The unnecessary edit: alright that was 3 years ago (currently December 2023) and i still do this, so i’ve moved to my bedroom and this is actually a symptom of my OCD messing with my anxiety. thanks guys :)))
Mini analysis The dentist (who is just that, I doubt they're a real surgeon in the first place) Has been called upon by the patient's family due to their severe case of hyperdontia. Everyone's called them a monster, an "abomination" ever since all their extra teeth grew in, so to try and "fix" themself, they've been pulling teeth. Naturally, this has led to infections, abscesses, lots and lots of bleeding and swelling... Even more health issues than there would be if they had just left their mouth alone. Upon discovery of what they'd started doing to themself, their family sends them to this dentist as an emergency. Through this entire ordeal, the patient is understandably very scared and wishes they'd never done this to themself and weren't born like that in the first place. They lie to the doctor and downplay the problem. Overly frustrated due to having never dealt with this before, and having a code red case when they're just a dentist, causes the dentist to berate and even swear at their patient while they scream and thrash in the chair. The dentist insisted they don't need any medicine to deal with the pain (and blaming them for the pain in the first place) due to them being fine with pulling their own teeth out, it makes sense that the patient is in agony, but the dentist doesn't even offer sympathy or consider how they feel. Having had enough, they finally decide to just pretend none of the first appointment happened, and just reschedule, taking on the role of a surgeon as a final measure. They feel responsible for their patient's health, but also abhors them. Second, and final appointment. Their jaw has probably become gangrenous at this point. There's no going back. Finally, they are given novocaine for the surgery, but the pain's already been inflicted; it's not going to be enough. They still struggle on the surgery table, they get told they're making things worse still. Panicking, and insisting they know what's best for their patient, who at this point has certainly become their victim, they resort to just tearing their entire lower jaw off. Listening to this for the first time, I thought it was mainly about medical gaslighting, but it's clear it's about medical abuse, verbal and physical. It's really interesting to listen to Novocaine and Hyperdontia back to back, you get the perspectives of both the victim and abuser. There is 100% a right and a wrong here, but you can see the thought processes of both. The problem they both have in common is that they believe the patient needs to be fixed. They do need help, but they need gentle care. The very first rule of being a doctor: *Do No Harm.*
Alexandria Lawless From what I remember, Ghost made an animatic with the patient from hyperdontia and the dentist from novocaine of 'zoobe bunny - visit to the dentist' (can't link on mobile) sadly it's deleted now with the rest of Ghost's shitpost
Sad news. The saddest. I posted a comment a while ago saying that when I had to get my wisdom teeth removed (which I was assuming would be soon, based off of my current age and the age people get their wisdom teeth removed.). I had said I was going to ask if the doctor was going to remove my lower job, take all my teeth, or cram extra teeth in my mouth, to which they would say no, and I would then proceed to be sad HOWEVER Evolution is taking its course. I will never be getting my wisdom teeth, according to my dentist. They're never going to grow in, so I'll never be getting them removed, so my comment will not happen. Much sadness. I'm sorry )':
LETS GO!!! NO WISDOM TEETH GANG. But for real yeah same, dentist kept asking me how old i was and thought i was 10 or 12 because i had several teeth in the back of my mouth that hadn't grown in at all
Me: *in the dentist, hearing the dentists talking about how there gonna use novacaine to pull my teeth out of my mouth* Dad: What are you listening to? Me: Nothing. Me in my head: *singing this song*
Did anyone else notice that in the artwork for this and Hyperdontia Flower has almost the same facial expression. the only difference is the emotion behind it
2:06 Does anyone realise that this part of the song has part of the sequel “Hyperdontia”? The red words are the lyrics of Hyperdontia and the white ones are this song-
Ah yes... This just reminds me the day I went to the dentist to get my 4 wisdom teeth removed at once, I layed down in the chair and played some music. I started shivering and shaking for a bit since it was my first surgery. Minutes passed and the dentist approached to me and said: "I'm gonna inject Novocaine, stay calm and don't make this harder than it has to be" It was so damn scary hearing that, and I thought for a second leaving the room, eventually I calmed down and played this song in my head while surgery was going.
So I have an intense fear of dentists but I still decided it was a good idea to listen to this at four am this morning, and just as it went to the last chorus, the altered one, my mom dropped something in the kitchen. I flipped out and threw my phone across the room. I shall never sleep again.
i listened to this song on loop while on the way to the dentist and the only thing i could think of while they cleaned my teeth was *please dont hurt me please dont hurt me please dont hurt me please dont hurt me please dont hu-*
I originally found this at 4 AM because I couldn’t sleep so I just went to watch some of Ghost’s music videos. I’ve been blessed by this. Contorted my spine and tore my skin with much elegance. 10/10.
As Novocaine is a prequel to Hyperdontia, I believe that the dentist had his lower jaw ripped off and reattached in the past, leaving him scarred, vengeful and bitter. He operates on the patient in Novocaine in the same way, tearing out her lower jaw just so that she could feel the same pain he did. In Novocaine, he gaslights the patient into thinking everything is her fault and everything he does for her is for her own good, and then he rips her jaw off. In Hyperdontia, the same patient believes that it was she who ripped her own jaw off because the gaslighting techniques employed by the dentist make her believe the pain she suffered was due to her own shortcomings and faults. Furthermore, the memory of the dentist has been blurred and suppressed due to a combination of psychological trauma and forced drug abuse (dentist forced her to overdose on Novocaine).

TRASH DENTIST STRIKES AGAIN!
I congratulate you both; the songs are great and showcase her really well!

two theories for how the doctor got their scars....
one is that they operated on themself in an experiment
the other is that the same thing happened to them as a child and the scar is a result of having their jaw ripped off and re-attached
The second theory is correct since this is a sequel to hyperdontia where she gets her bottom jaw ripped off.

Fun story: Today I went to the dentist for a filling, and they gave me laughing gas, and they told me that they were going to give me novocaine and my mind automatically jumped to this song and for like 30 seconds I had to try to stop myself from freaking out because I thought they were gonna pull my teeth out :)
It was probably made worse because I can still remember what happened at my last dentist (the place got shut down due to medical malpractice, but that's a whole other story)
tell the st o r y
p l e a s e t e l l t h e s t o r y
Ok fine here's the story (it's really not that interesting):
So I went in for like a routine cleaning, and I had never been there before (I moved to a new city).

Mini analysis
The dentist (who is just that, I doubt they're a real surgeon in the first place)
Has been called upon by the patient's family due to their severe case of hyperdontia.
Alright, that ended up being a bit more than just a mini analysis.
Everybody wants to know "What the hell is wrong with you there?"
It was rats. Everywhere. Pouring out of my mouth. Just rats.

Sad news. The saddest. I posted a comment a while ago saying that when I had to get my wisdom teeth removed (which I was assuming would be soon, based off of my current age and the age people get their wisdom teeth removed.). I had said I was going to ask if the doctor was going to remove my lower job, take all my teeth, or cram extra teeth in my mouth, to which they would say no, and I would then proceed to be sad
HOWEVER
Evolution is taking its course. I will never be getting my wisdom teeth, according to my dentist. They're never going to grow in, so I'll never be getting them removed, so my comment will not happen. Much sadness. I'm sorry )':

I started shivering and shaking for a bit since it was my first surgery. Minutes passed and the dentist approached to me and said: "I'm gonna inject Novocaine, stay calm and don't make this harder than it has to be"
It was so damn scary hearing that, and I thought for a second leaving the room, eventually I calmed down and played this song in my head while surgery was going.
So I have an intense fear of dentists but I still decided it was a good idea to listen to this at four am this morning, and just as it went to the last chorus, the altered one, my mom dropped something in the kitchen. I flipped out and threw my phone across the room. I shall never sleep again.

Forgive me if this is incorrect or makes no sense, it's 1:19am and I'm a bit high
