I have a 2015 FRS, I am wanting to do this set up on mine as I am running the sprintex supercharger now and want especially to monitor my oil temp and AFR. I noticed in you tutorial you mentioned that the BRZ you owned kept throwing an engine chk light evertime you started up. Can you give me some insight as how to avoid this on my car to keep this from happening. Is this something with the 86/BRZ/FRS that I would have to deal with every startup. +Steven Roby Just have to make sure the Bluetooth adaptor you use powers down and doesn’t keep the ECU awake after you shut down the car.

Looks clean, very tidy. I have a similar setup on my E46. I use an old Galaxy S5, mounted using an old case glued to a piece of carbon wrapped aluminium, which then slots into the compartment cover. this allows me to tilt it if I need to as well. I like what you have done with those gauges how do I get a theme like that?
Beemernut thanks! Custom themes are available in the play store. I downloaded one and then customised it further myself by editing the PNG files.

Brilliant and clean setup! Is there a small OBD BT adapter available that can hide behind closure of the BMW F22? Or do you have to live with the fact that it sticks out a bit?
I haven't been able to find one that fits behind the cover but you can unclip the plug and tuck it away if it bothers you.
The KIWI3 adaptor is smaller than mine but window still doesn't close.
You do have to be very careful not to kick it getting in and out of the car.

seriously that's a stupid place to mount gauges you wish to use to monitor your vehicle operation
+Sadrick Smith why? Shouldn't be looking at them while driving anyway. They all have peak hold and data logging.
