A little knowledgeable commentary about the boats . Example top speed horsepower etc. would be helpful . Many different manufacturers today and many different models are made few people have heard of. Amazing boats are on the market these days
Go fast, slow down, go fast, slow down. Stare at other similar boats. Park, get gas and wait for compliments about your boat. Seems fun for about 45 minutes.

I have owned power boats for more than thirty years, and crewed on competitive sailboats for about the same so I am a long time boater. I watch many, many Haul over/Zip Zap videos and have seen a few of these Havasu films. Honestly, the level to which this has gone in this case is just plain grotesque. As in really kind of unwatchable on so many levels. The boats are pretty and I get the freedom angle...but they are really just way over the top.

Oh Yeah, They are LOUD !! Up close and personal. Imagine being in a canoe,, paddling peacefully along on the Colorado River between Bullhead City and Lake Havasu. 40 feet away a thunder cat passes at 120+ mph, no mufflers and surface props. All you can do is press your palms firmly over your ears as they blow by. and a minute later,,, they are two miles away and the sound level is still at 100db or more. Oh they are loud. Laughing,, in spite of that,, beautiful machine. Please put a muffler on it. Yes,, it will steal 5 mph off your max speed. Sorry.

Awesome looking boats pickle forks are. However, there is no way i ever consider a boat even approaching the size of most of these things without a well appointed cabin. I would be bored to tears owning a monstrosity like most of those. A poorer use of space i cannot imagine. Yes, i understand there is a tunnel. If it can't be designed and built with a cabin then i guess that killer fork design is out. Nope, got to have a cabin! Period! That's it! Or forget it. I'm not a retired drug smuggler now caught up in the offshore racing scene and those boats are WAY too big to just sit there lookin' pretty. Not a real practical ski boat and if it has no cabin then it's just a big fast pretty boat with very limited practicality to me. Sure, if i had a Hallet or one of the other hot V8 V drives out of the 60's or 70's i could rationalize taking a tent and camping ashore but those can be towed on a dual axle trailer with an Olds Vista Cruiser wagon. Way too much scratch wrapped up in a boat the length of an express cruiser that you can roar around in or beach the bow and polish it while the little woman works on her tan. All the while i'd be thinking why did i buy this thing that is all about speed and looking fine but what the hell am i doing pouring hundreds of gallons of hi test fuel thru this thing? One high speed pass across the lake and i would be so depressed AND bored that i would be ready to unload it at a huge loss if need be.
