Love 💘 it!!! So exciting!! I almost bought the mini with a Dooney trade. Got the twist strap hobo instead...i requested smooth and they sent very smooth. I'm expecting the slim wallet soon in black & caramel, (2nd time purchase) a duck charm and cosmetic bag off the sale too. Got the zip zip in chocolate color for 69.00. Couldn't resist that deal... it's beautiful. I spent so little and now I'm done for a while. Second guessing not getting the mini satchel. I have 3 micros...you'd be surprised how much those hold & have 3 part strap. The Coach kiss lock cute with Dooney TFS. Sorry long post.
Hi Carilyn, It sounds like you bought a lot of great things. I am so glad you received the smooth Twist Strap Hobo. That makes such a big difference. I love the Chocolate color Zip Zip..The price is amazing! The Slim Wallet is awesome as is the Duck charm! You did great!! The Micros are beautiful. I love the shape more than the shape of the Mini, which seems to me elongated as opposed to the more vertical shape of the Micro. However, the Micro seems heavier than the Mini when I put the same things inside. I am expecting another Mini from Dooney. It will be in the same color as my Micro. The Mini will have the flat bottom which is heavier than the Black Mini I bought on eBay. I have to decide if I will keep the Micro or the flat bottom Mini...or both even though they are the same color. I really love the Micro's look. It is so adorable as a crossbody. I find the straps are not as comfortable as the one I bought on eBay. I guess that is because one side is unfinished?? So nice speaking with you! Thank you so much for watching. Happy Friday 🧡
@@BagHound I gotta try the mini if it is lighter weight or even the same weight as the micro. If it is more comfortable, I could sell some of my other satchels that are still in new wrapping and get the Mini size. I wish Dooney would finish both sides of straps in all colors. I noticed on the Cameron satchel they finish both sides no matter what color, but not on other satchels. Have a great weekend!!!

I have this same bag in black as well as the micro in black. I have the small in natural. Dooney makes the most beautiful Florentine leather. It can definitely get heavy!

Well dooney just canceled my saddle bag. I don’t know how often they have this bag. But looks like I won’t be able to get it ant time soon. I was on hold for 40 minutes to talk to them and forgot to ask if they would offer it again. But she probably wouldn’t have known anyway. I like the double strap effect on the Florentine satchel. It’s a cool look and you can carry it as a short shoulder or on your arm. It’s a nice option. I can see why your husband loved the saddle bag. I’m glad you’re able to get the chestnut one before they sold out.
Oh no! I am so sorry your order was canceled! That is truly disappointing. I doubt if the customer service person would know. I don't think they are given much leeway or authority. I hope you are able to find one. Coach has a very similar bag. It is in Glovetanned leather which is their best leather. It is as susceptible to scratching as Florentine. Hi Eileen, what a beautiful pre loved bag. She is perfect. I thought it was the small size satchel. It looks plenty roomy. I think a lot us are carrying smaller bags these days for practical reasons. I find myself using my Dooney crossbodys which are spacious for a crossbody. The mini satchel can be used for a crossbody and a satchel which is even better. Stay well and have a wonderful holiday. 💕

Nice video...I am very late to watching this one. I now have 2 mini's that I got from Ebay. One presented as used, but was new and fully wrapped in pale blue. The other was presented as new, but upon close inspection it wasn't new but looked close to new after I cleaned it up in Salmon color. (I prefer to get any bright colors in mini size and they must be heavily discounted because I know I will only use them when wearing bright colors.) Dooney currently has the slim wallet in Florentine on the ILD site. I was tempted, but I already have most colors in the small zip around. On the shoulder strap for the mini, you can make it a great medium shoulder length by attaching one of the dog hooks to the buckle instead of taking it all the way through to double it to have both dog hooks on the D ring. Hope that makes sense. I am only 5'3, so most of Dooney straps are too long for me. TFS

I've bought 4 Dooneys from ebay and one from Mercari. And I have had very good experiences with ebay. Although my Mercari purchase was a disappointment, not on the condition of the bag. It was brand new with all the manufacturer packaging on it. BUT, the ad was for SLATE, but they sent me STEEL BLUE. Steel blue is pretty, but obviously not what I was expecting. I decided to keep it. And the only place I could find a Slate in small was on qvc. I bought the last one for a sale price of 318.00, broken inton5 monthly payments. Sale is still going on, but last time I checked, there were only two colors left.

I have the mini in natural, and absolutely love it. Perfect size, and not mini in any way. I did get a thicker Dooney strap from QVC because this one felt too narrow, and now it’s just right.

The leather is so soft and supple and the interior has the beautiful microsuede lining. It comes with two removable straps that you can wear over the shoulder or crossbody. Stunning bag. I probably could have gone with the mini. Especially for every day use. So I’ve gotten my satchel out to use for awhile. I made the strap into 2 straps like the lady that left a link on your channel did to show how to do it. I can’t remember her name but she is a lovely lady too. When I use it now I’ll know if I ever want another color whether I want the mini or small. I have to tell you I did order that black saddle bag but won’t get it for awhile cause all colors sold out on website and it’s on back order. I’m hoping I won’t find it too big as I’m small too. But you found it ok so I’m taking a chance. It was such a lovely bag at such a great deal. And I used my dooney money too. I think you said you might do another video on it. I’m interested in if you still find it works for you. There are just so many great bags between coach and dooney. I feel very fortunate to have the new bags I’ve bought this year. I really feel they are an extra luxury. They just keep making too many great bags.
Hi Bonnie...Thank you! The Saddle bag is big. It weighs about 2 pound 7 ounces. However, it is not uncomfortable to carry on shoulder with the the short shoulder strap unless you stuff your bag. I bought two of them. My hubby wanted the black so I am giving that one to him for Christmas. I have so many black bags it did not matter to me. The other one is the most perfect Chestnut. As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. However, I have been back and forth on whether I will get much use out of it because of the size. Hubby keeps telling me it is not to large but I think it is. Yes, I will do a video on both of the bags. The price is making me feel I will regret it if I do not keep it. I am still thinking about it. I didn't see a message from a lady explaining how to make it a shoulder bag. I will go back and look. Thank you so much for watching. The weight on the small satchel bag sounds the same as the Saddle bag. I know what you mean though because If the bag is a very large capacity I feel like it is big for me as an everyday carry bag since I don’t need to carry a lot ordinarily. It feels more like for a travel bag, a day or overnight bag or on a trip. I’ll have to see when it comes. I don’t think it is as wide as the satchel so maybe it will work. Honestly for me the small satchel - I could have probably gone with the mini. But someone had said they thought the top zipper opening was on the small side but it would have probably been ok for me. These things are so personal for each person. You can make the strap on the satchel bag into a double strap and still carry it on the shoulder. It hits higher under the arm. You loop the strap through the side ring and hook it back where you hooked the other hook. I think I had to take the strap apart and readjust the buckle part. It may have been “pelican beauty” I can’t remember but she put a link on one of you videos about the bag. But there are also others on UA-cam that show how to do it too. Just search “how to make strap into double strap” for the dooney satchel. You might like it as another option. I thought the way you modeled it looked very nice. Hi my friend...Yes! That was an issue for me too. When I bought it I was expecting a bag, not a pouch. I told Coach customer care many times that their information was incorrect. They said they notified the tech crew..That was 2 years ago. The height of the kiss lock is about 3-3/4, the length is 5" and the depth is about 1-1/2" ..It is hard to be exact because of the curves. It is beautiful and well made. Definitely a beautiful piece to add to a collection. Dooney has pebble leather kiss lock purses they call Large Frame Purses on sale now for $39. Beautiful bag. It sounds like the one you ordered from Dooney is the one that is made in the USA. Those that are made here come with the flat firm bottom. I think they do this to help the bag from slouching when full. The one you have and like are made in China. I am like you in that I like those much better. The black is stunning and you got a really nice one! Looks very smooth with no pebbling. I don’t care for the pebbling when you buy florentine. I want mine to be smooth and soft. Hi..Thank you so much for connecting with me! I live in a very small house. It is more like a cabin. There is no room to expand. I store my bags on the shelf above the clothes in my closet. I have also taken over the shelf above my husband's clothes. We are trying to figure out how we can store the bags once the shelves are filled, which will have to be very soon. I always store my bags in their dust bags. I would love to do a video on my storage as soon as we figure out where to put everything. It is something I must work on if I am to continue buying bags.
