You are so welcome
Wow Debra that is so beautiful! Before I started painting and watching videos, I never thought about light, white space, layering, what colors play well together, etc. I really appreciate how much thought goes into creating paintings as amazing as yours are, you are so talented!! Thank you for sharing!

Fabulous and fun
Thanks Bonnie
Fabulous as always, I’ve learned so much from you, thank you very much ❤❤❤
I love the freedom. Relaxed and not tedious
Thanks so much! From my experience, the minute you tighten up (when doing a loose painting) and get tedious, you’ve killed the painting. Thanks so much for tuning in!
Always love your work. You inspire me so much, Debra. I need to try that soap🥰🧼🧼🧼🧼
I can’t believe your using soap, I was wondering how using soap would effect the paint,! It’s very enjoyable watching you work your magic , and explains, not rushing like most artists on here do
Great lesson ! I think I will give my watercolours a try. I got them at Christmas.
Thanks so much Gloria! Enjoy!! Thanks for commenting and tuning in!!

Does the soap affect the archivalness of your work? So pretty 😻
I haven’t noticed any effects to the pieces after using it. But i wouldn’t over use it.
Loved this. Can you use the acrylic inks in the same way as liquid watercolor? Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents with so many Debra.❤️
Acrylic doesn’t work with water like watercolor does. You might be able to use a small about of water but if you use to much water you’ll quickly find it separates and flakes off when it drys. The water breaks down the binder thats in acrylic..plus acrylics are not water soluble…to me its like mixing oil and vinegar.
I suggest you do experiments and learn first hand, its one thing for someone to tell you, it’s another to see it come into play and how far you can push it.
Could you control this more putting some of the liquid concentrated watercolor in a palette well and use a brush to pick some up to drop on your wet paper spots?
I’m not one to control much with watercolor… 😂 i go with the flow.
Miss D what paper did you use on this piece ? ❤❤
140# CP Fabricano Artistico Bright White
Loved this one tried a couple flowers but either too much ink came out, or had too much or too little water. Maybe will try with regular watercolors.
There’s always that darn learning curve, it all takes time! Thanks so much for tuning in!! 💕
Exactly like you said: more than 30 years working with other mediums, oil, acrylic, ... and now my watercolours are still so thick and closed 🙈
The white flowers are Jonquils ❤
What are the strips you use for mopping up please?
One ply toilet paper
