I'm betting the speedo is out and the system is using the GPS speed. I have noticed a difference between the GPS on my dash cam and the car speed by about 8kms.
I had the GPS running in the drive, but the school zone alerts, and "please obey all traffic regulations" happen regardless of navigation... even when using Android auto, the system still talks to you... just muting the voice wasn't an option I could find (there is one when using the navigation directions, but not when you arent)
@@10tenadventures there must be a way…you got me started…I’m gunna download the manual for the car and read it before delivery of mine! I could not put up with that!!
The steps in the vid work for turning the "please obey all traffic regulations" off, most of the settings in the navigation menu can be turned off which stops Betty dead
I've turned off the camera alerts now too, just too annoying, and tells me there's a fixed camera that was removed 4 years ago that I drive past every day... love how out of date the Toyota map software is...
Please obey all traffic regulations.

Interestingly, the increased tyre size put mine bang on, GPS and Speedo align to within 1kph!
Hi, are you able to share the weights of the new van and car with your mods? I am starting the same project with my new VX Prado. Thanks
Hi Alan, I'll be doing a full weigh in and load balancing vid soon, have found the Lovells GVM also increases your CGM in some states
It’s not Toyota’s fault. You’re using navigation with directions, you’re often exceeding the speed limit, wtf do you expect. It’s all your fault
Crappy phone volume when connected to CarPlay ?
No, mine is great, although I use Android not Apple I think it may be an Apple issue
That Prado talking must be nearly as annoying as your over loud intro music 😆
why dont you just mute the voice and only use the gps for when you need to know directions?

Was the first thing I did when I got my Prado - switch off that annoying voice!
