Brings me back memories back in mid to late 80s-early 90s. This was the way of "gaming" back then before the era of game consoles. I must say this was brilliant back then. I used to had 200 teams, plus the fence, scoreboard, etc. Watching this video, i notice that the rules are almost the same like back then. There are some slight changes, but overall things haven't changed that much. Very nice video!!
I always remember they had specialised corner and throw in figures when I used to play. The skill was being able to loft the ball onto one of your team in the penalty area. I guess they are not used any more. Nice video btw.
Not used in the modern game, but we have retro competitions at our club, and they are great fun to use. Bottom line is people can play subbuteo however they wish, all good by me. People develop house roles, rules for solo play...What you see here is the modern iteration of the rules for the new levels of equipment.
I have a question: if the spare Goalkeeper missies a shot the goal stays ungarded for 5 turns but does the spare Goalkeeper stay on the field for 5 turns and gets taken out afterwards or does the spare gk stay on the field if so when is it taken out? Hopefully this isn't too late Thanks
Thanks for the question. After 5 flicks for offense - without a goal - the game momentarily pauses. Spare goalie taken out, rodded goalie put back in goal.
Any coupon codes for your shop? I’ve got a TON of older Subbuteo teams and equipment. But, I’m looking to purchase some new teams and Talon bases to refit my older Subbuteo teams. Thanks.
Just bought it the other day and something I’ve never understood is the passing rules you say it resets it back to 3 flicks it says in the game rules of you attempt a pass, the ball cannot hit the player you are passing to. Then it goes on to some more attacking rules please help cause your vid says it just resets back to 3 flicks other vids say it resets to 3 flicks but instructions in the box states otherwise and there’s not one video dedicated to passing there is on all the other easy to understand rules but not passing do you think it’s a type error or something?? God knows any advice about this point would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

hey angry. Definitely resets to 3 flicks for either figure when the ball rolls on to another one of your figures!
Great video
