My low rider s has less than 3k on the odometer and is currently on its third motor. First time was a small bearing coming loose and getting caught in the oil pump gear (torched the inside of the motor) . Second time was a defect in the replacement motor Harley sent out. Everything I’ve ever read mentioned suggestions, such as “Motorcyclists should avoid lane splitting when surrounding traffic is moving at 30 miles per hour or faster.”, not necessarily enforcing that. The only “illegal” act I’ve been able to find is simply riding in the shoulder lane and of course speeding overall. Unfortunately, even behind the wheel of my car I tend to speed like a lot of other people, so if I get pulled over I’ll have to accept the ticket and take the blame.

Unacceptable quality control at HD. I've owned 4 Evo Harleys (all great), would not buy a new HD until I'm convinced HD has reached (or very near) Japanese levels of reliability and quality control - not for the money they ask.
