Why I dont understand why this season is Less episodes that the first season. I think they gonna let us janguing without answer alottt of questions SMH
the morthers MILK... THEM mormans...meow
the SAANS of TIME... the at a VEGAS LASASASASSSS... GOLD AND A BO OF a book box...meow
The thing with father asking if anyone heard anything then saying "I thought my sensors were malfunctioning" is a nod to Rhill saying the same line when explaining how she found the cave in the first time...
Yo what if the being( core of planet need to destroy it's shell to be free and become what it was long ago but humans or human like creatures probably realized it and decided against it not realizing that it was something more to their existence and the planets as well
Grandmother is withholding a lot of info. And that veil is going to trap Mother. Grandmother wanted to let it go too easily, it was not too long ago she wondered why Father wasn’t wearing his veil.
Like when Adam and Eve were suddenly knew they were "naked" after the fall
@@CobraDove1111 why I can't get into the show. Nothing new if you have looked into enough theology/mythology. Just with a spin of technocracy, which is what the elites are doing at this moment. Makes you wonder what the show is really for. Wink wink EL-ites with MY- theology. Interesting PROGRAM for the HOLY-wood elite to TEL-a- vision for the MASS- es.
@@jeffreystattom8061 I'd love some of the stuff you're on
Yea that seems the logical next step with how the power struggles are going, right now the atheists holding all the cards. Everyone knows Marcus is a hack, the last true Mithraic is Lucius, the religion is almost dead. Grandmother will trap Mother and put the power back to Sol
I don't think Grandmother knows what will happen if she takes her veil off and has never considered taking it off, she asks why isn't father wearing it, as opposed to how did you take it off?
Headless robot flipping the bird, best scene ever.
Caugh me off guard.
which implies that the android has a hearing component that is somewhere other than in a head.
***most disturbing scene ever **** 😂
At this point, I'm just sticking around to see how crazy this show gets...
I mean it just keeps getting weirder.
It is hard to believe the execs green lighted ti. I absolutely love it. Phenomenal writing.
I told some friends this exact thing
You literally could not predict what happened in the last 2 episodes even if you watched all of season 1 and season 2 so far over 100 times. Sue becomes a tree and the flying snake becomes a flying necromancer string ray
Come now ... where's your imagination? ROFL
I think Grandmother was telling a familiar stoty to Mother just to get her to free her. Remember a few scenes before there was a discussion about androids telling lies. I think Grandmother and the serpent serve the entity/Sol in different ways.
A lot of the show revolves around history repeating itself, but it also uses juxtapositions. I dont think grandmother lied, at least explicitly, but she may have lied by omission. I actually think her story parallels mothers. She was originally made to kill atheists, but the atheists constructed the veil to take away her "impulses" just like what campion did with mother by reprogramming her. This then allowed grandmother to make the best decisions for humans. without it she would revert to a necromancer. When mother puts on the veil, it would nullify her caregiving impulses, which could also revert her back into a necromancer. All of this could be the case where grandmother would still be telling the truth in her discussion with mother.
I also think Sol was created by ancient humans, in the same way the AI made by campion was constructed. Except with sol, no one destroyed it. This is another way their stories could parrel.
Damn thats good 👍🏿
@@codyk1875 Yeah, I wondered about that because she said she was made by technocrats but I'm like Mithraic aren't technocrats, so what is the truth? This makes sense that she is originally mithraic and was modified to being technocratic.
@@codyk1875 Yeah, they've been setting up the time is a flat circle both seasons. What happened on Earth happened on Keppler ages ago, and they fled to Earth to restart. Then Earth gets all messed up and now they're going back to Keppler to do the same thing over again. Who knows how many times this has happened? Maybe Sol is an entity that wants to stop the cycle.
@@birdiewolf3497 The Mithraic aren't technocrats, but they did have tech blueprints encoded in their texts - where did this come from? And how are there so many Mithraic artefacts on Keplar? I think Mithraicism originated on Keplar and somehow managed to make its way to earth... Probably through Sol, but who even knows how he managed to do that? It's all very uroboros, which definitely fits the whole snake thing!
We are gonna miss this show when it's over. It's originality is unparalleled.
Fingers r still crossed for the approval of the 3rd season. I read an article that said most likely it will happen and that it would most like be out early next year. That's better than waiting 2 years for me. 🙏
😥
Annnd it's over...
Theory: The humans who ate the fruit will produce more seeds and brain fruit trees for Number Seven to continue to evolve. And since The Voice wants to destroy itself. I believe the Serpent will evolve big enough to eat the entire planet and the Core who will be reveal to be Sol and evolve into a Lovecraftian Nightmare that travels the cosmos as a new deity.
that's so crazy, i'd be amazed to see it happen hahah
That reminds me of the world serpent in Norse mythology
The humans turning into more trees seems logical but that would mean marcus and paul would become trees and i dont think they would that
Being “believers” could be the plot armor that stops them from transforming like the atheists around them. Sue sort of muddled that idea but maybe as a new convert to Sol, she didn’t believe “enough” prior to her transforming into a tree.
@@arthur99mun no I mean defecated seeds that later probably season 3 when enough time has pass a human or an animal will finds and touch the new seeds and it will control them to make another tree. Remember that the wind or time can bring those seeds from human droppings 🤣
Fun fact: the actress who plays Grandmother: Selina Jones, also starred in Mass Effect Andromeda. She voiced the Ancient AI on the planet Voeld. She was the suicidal AI who wanted to die and kept telling Ryder to put her out of her misery lol.
Yeah, you already said,.....

There will just b a cliff hanger, so u have years to go to get the whole story if this show can last.
Yeah this show is sooo original! In many ways... Breath of fresh air and a blessing to get away from the same-old same-old!
Can't wait for next week's grand finale! ^^
@@xObscureMars if it doesn't last i loose faith in humanity
@@anouarkrassimovich7481 most people dont enjoy this hardcore scifi, but this seems to be going strong right now. However, game of thrones was a world wide phenomenon and then it lost support of hbo and the last season was a disgusting mess.
Considering mother's powers come from her eyes and the veil covers your face and eyes there's no way it could be good. I feel like it's a restrictive helmet so grandmother can't use her eyes and whatever they do. And when they take it off her she will be weaponized and mother will be imprisoned in it and powerless. Grandmother might fight the snake but also become the new antagonist for next season after it's resolved. I don't see how the show could continue on progressing if that snake monster is still around killing everything so Im thinking it's gonna be resolved temporarily by grandmother.
You read my mind. See my post above with
Grandmother said it of herself that she's not a weapon, she's closer to Father in general purpose and she did directly identify Mother as a weapon.
The show has made it very clear that Necromancers are built differently than normal Androids. Mother after being retrofitted by Campion even more so, she is the most powerful weapon on the planet period.
That being said Grandmother has several traits that hint that she has more capability than what she is, she was able to find and save Campion, she has a gold form similar to mother's bronze form and she can fly.
What i can't explain though is how mother managed to force her into sleep mode, if the veil really is a power dampener then we're in for a treat.
A 3 way fight between Mother, Grandmother and the Serpent would be an awesome way to finish the season
you are wrong, you will understand it if you watch teaser for next episode
I believe Father is gonna find out he too is ancient like Grandmother. That’s why he’s so indestructible. Like the cave painting depicting two androids heading to earth, Is gonna turn out one is actually Father and he wasn’t built but found!
That'd be awesome!
My buddy and I have been saying this about father for a few episodes now. Hopefully the theory is true
Hmmm ... is Father actually Grandfather? ;)
Whoaaaaa! That would explain GrandMother saying “I thought you were my partner”.
Felt bad for Vrille. Hope she is renewed with good memories intact.
I'm not totally sure why but she's my favorite character atm.
They did her so dirty and had the nerve to be upset she started killing everyone
I feel so bad for Mother. I don't think she is going to like that veil at all.
or shes's going to like it a little too much.
Well it doesn't sound like she's getting a reprogram, only a blockage. 🤷♀️ I'd be surprised if it goes that way, but with this show, who knows??
If it blocks her care giving protocol does that mean she goes back to her roots? Being a destructive necromancer focused on destroying all atheists? It can’t be good for her to put that thing on
@@ShellyBBird well in the trailer for finale she is necromancer mode with the veil on so we’ll see
I think that veil will eventually encapsulate mother. Imprisoning her but not till after she goes out with it on to try and destroy 7. I think grandmother will instigate the veils imprisoning function. Remember the scene of grandmother covering mother's mouth?
Plot Twist: Grandmother is really Cobra Commander reincarnated.
You’re coverage on this show is my favorite out of all of them. I am with you something is probably fishy with grandmother. Like why was she in pieces to begin with? She seems like she could live forever.
I bet those who didn't eat the fruit becomes the serpent's targets. That's why it attacked Tank nº4, the people inside were patrolling and couldn't eat the fruit.
And it probably implanted some sort of trasnsmitter that make them able to listen to "Sol"
That veil is definitely neutralizing something in "Grandmother". And as soon as she gets Mother to take it off her and put it on herself, they'll be trading places.
This show is crazy, I can't wait for the finale and 3 other seasons that have been planned for the story arc. I hope it actually ends and doesn't drag on like some other TV shows
Some of the best shows are 5 and done. Breaking bad and orphan black come to mind.
@@mzmendy Oh yes Orphan Black finally lives in my mind 💗 They really took time to work through the character progressions and wind it up beautifully.
You don’t how much I been refreshing ur channel for a review for this episode omg I got so excited and can’t wait 😭
Your in good company
Same here about the refreshing....🤣
I love this show it keeps getting crazier and crazier with every passing episode.
You should've done a review on the episode 8 promo
It puts things into perspective
I think Grandmother is misleading what she's going to do
Her and father have a connection and are going to try to stop Mother
As a mother, I can understand Tempests reaction to seeing her baby happily suckling and bonded with the sea creature. While she was motivated by the initial shock of having her newborn ripped from her arms and stolen from a scary creature, she has had time to think and when confronted with seeing the creature, no liger a threat but as a caring mother, feeding and bonding with this baby - I can fully understand her quanndry. This shift in perception allows her to question motherhood in a way that was not possible when she felt her infants life at stake. Now, she has a DIFFERENT choice to make as the baby is clearly being lovingly cared for and this brings Tempests mind back to the one thing which made her question her ability to be it's Mother in that the baby is a product and constant reminder of her traumatic rapes.
@11:57 Good question. All I can think of is that it must be something that is preventing her to become independent and/or not subservient to humans. Just as like Mother's caregiving program prevents her from hurting her children, the veil prevents Grandmother from rebelling against humans (the beings that created her). I think Grandmother's goal is to become god-like -- be worshipped like a god. Just consider her voice-over during the post credits: "I'm a shepherd ensuring the everlasting life of human beings. When overcome with fear, even atheists will make up gods to pray to. I assure you... those prayers will go unanswered. I promise. I'll help you to understand. It is my time." Also quite interesting how she sound amused to learn that the serpent has emotions.
Best sci-fi series ever. Its clever and well thought out and every scene has a purpose and not just 'filler'
I think the fruit was bits of Sue's soul. They were helping give them souls, for better or worse. That's why Sue faded as they ate.
Sensational analysis this has to be one of the most accurate explanations of a show I've seen/heard legendary
Great recap. I love every single episode of the series so far, can't wait to see the finale. I really, REALLY hope the show goes on for the full 5 seasons.
I can totally see what Vrille scribed into the tree being considered words from a sacred scroll 1000's of years into the future.
“The Tragedy of Vrille the Great” 😂😂
@@DiamondWoodStudios Vrille "The Faceless one"
@@TangoNevada and then that’s how the faceless men started 😳
The snake eating the whole tree and transforming was very unexpected. Crazy honestly. I knew the snack would get bufffed some how but never like that. I did think since the snake was eating fruit it would eat the tree fruit.
Will be a crazy interesting finale. How did the snake get into Mother in the first place? I really want that explained lol.
fabulous as always. thank you. congrats on 500k! it took a while but that's awesome. :)
Great break down and review! Can't wait till next week!
Excellent analysis, but I think Grandmother is Sol. They (grandmother’s kind) preserved their technology in the core and housed the transmitting processors in their brains to preserve the tech in case they are destroyed or lose the war. Symbolism… in talking with Mother, there’s a sun symbol emitting rays (very similar to Sol’s symbol) on grandmother’s helmet. This is a light reflection of course but was surely put there on purpose. Someone made sure it was there! Also, humanity’s shepherd and everlasting life? Not convinced!
Note: The God of the Old Testament hid His face so Grandmother and their kind are are purporting to be Gods with the veil in a way. Buckle up folks, this show is retelling an ancient story.
Yes, yes!! But Isnt it pretty obvious though?
The Sue/Mary tree weaponized the serpent (#7). I wonder what effects the tree's fruits will have on the humans that ate the fruits. Maybe a similar effect to what happened to Marcus after ingesting Mother's eyes, gaining some sort of powers and being more receptive to 'Sol's' voice.
I had my feet resting on my subwoofer after I had forgotten I turned bass boost on as the serpent ate the tree, screamed, and shot lighting...I shat myself :D
We’ve heard androids lie.. so maybe grandmother is lying
What I got so far as a new watcher.
Mother- Lamia mother of monsters
Campion/Snake- Romulas/Remus
Father- Adam
Grandmother- Eve
Campion and Snake seem much more comparable than Paul, thanks for bringing that up.
I think grandmother is more like Lillith, Adams first wife who was kicked out of Eden for not obeying Adam.
@@marielalara1202 Actually, when you think about it, that comparison to Lilith would more accurately be drawn with Mother. She was Adam's first wife, where Mother was/is Fathers first partner. Mother is almost constantly at odds with Father. Their whole relationship is basically her strong arming him to see her desires met. And a lot of mythology around Lilith paints her as the mother of demons and nephilim, much like how Mother gave birth to Seven. Furthermore, Mother and Father actually entered the planet(garden) together whilst Grandmother came afterwards.... AND Eve was said to be created from a removed rib of Adam's. Well Grandmother was brought back by Father giving up his android blood.
I think Father is going to revealed to be Grandfather. This is the reason why the children keep referencing him as the best built android. I also think this is why he has this drive to rebuild Grandmother and why she was confused and thought that Father is her companion.
Grandmother was also revived in large part from father’s blood fuel so they are related
@@BenFrankarts great observation!
A very good review of a TV series that unlike so much rubbish we now i.e. endlessly asking questions but never answers as was the case with LOST that was just one big con, becauseit is so much easier for writers to do, who know the current retention and memory span of people now unlike my much older generation is now very low. I do admire you in coming up with why the series is called Raised by Wolves i.e. Romulus and Remus, nice one, having studied and read much Roman history I should have made that link.
Great video! So many questions we probably won’t get any answers next episode either just more questions just like last season
I wonder if Grandmother is a character that might become a threat. Her choice of words isn't that different from the way Father or Mother talk. We've been used to the quirks and shenanigans of these first two androids and been wired to care about/trust them. But isn't Mother a tyrant since two (three?) episodes ?
I just love how this show plays with our expectations/anticipations and the scariness of the unknown (for a lack of a better word). I still can't watch the scenes with fruits, seeds without shivering. How can you eat an unknown fruit that looks like a brain or the weirdest mollusc 😅
I'm expecting Grandmother to become a villain and engage in shocking revelations
about the origin of the Voice. Maybe she even gets to fight the serpent in an epic battle.
@@pdcdesign9632 We'll see, the last episode is titled happiness. Campion and the snake might even reconcile. The titles were strangely litteral this season. Just this one : feeding and the colony is fed, the snake is fed and Tempest's baby is fed. Couldn't everybody end up happy next episode?
In the absence of an FDA, just saying it’s been tested is apparently enough to sell these people on eating a weird fruit.
@@ffirmmmino the last one might be the only misleading title of the season🤣
Please let this series evolve through several.more seasons
I think the headless robot will be intergrated with Vrille. Vrille said her spine was disintergrating.

Marcus will end up as the “Lightbringer” fallen one in this story. He will become part of Mother’s group and another protagonist by the end of this season and will probably be kind of anti-hero if he doesn’t die protesting Paul in the finale.
He's Lucifer
Lol yes it was😂💪
Fuckin love Ragnar ...I mean marcus
Great video! After last season's finale I'm not even going to guess what's going to happen lol ... a really awesome, crazy season. Grandmother makes me very nervous.
Excellent Analysis

This review has good question and observations here, I never thought of.
That Bingo card is comedy cold, so accurate haha! MILK.
You are by far a long shot the best creator of breakdowns
Biggest flaw with this season is the fact not a single person was like "Yo Marcus, WTF is going on with your face?"
I definitely agree. Then she says, you look different when he has no veins?..
@@floralendurance lol ikr. Meanwhile when this dude had protruding black veins that were visibly moving and pulsing all over his face, no one said anything...... Everytime he was on screen with those veins it just reminded me of the Red Letter Media meme of "what is wrong with you face"
The only one who noticed was decima but she didn’t make a big deal out of it smh
I love high concept, weird sci-fi and this episode delivered! No other show goes this out there.
I was waiting for thissss.
Great videos!
"When she says she's never done this before" 😆💀 anyway I knew I should've watched the podcast after the episode. But I'm glad I found this channel a few weeks ago. Great work bro.
THIS VIDEO IS SO GOOD!
This serpent thing is just plain wild lol. Kinda wish they do more with this Grandmother android.
All this has something to do with the the alien guy found down the hole Marcus visited. The Serpent skeleton was there for some reason. Idk if they were dying together or the alien was hiding from it. We will see why since 1 million years have passed, history repeats itself.
Yes, it's obvious from the bones the family found near it's home in S1 that there have been more than one serpent. Probably many. You can also tell from the size of those bones roughly how large the serpent was when it died. I'd say 2-3x larger than the current living serpent, which means it will likely endure that many growth spurts/skin sheddings before reaching adulthood.
One of the best sci-fi shows I watched
If campion and number 7 are suposed to be Romulus and Remus, and one has to die at the hand of the other to build the new Rome. AND taking in consideration that it's been shown again and again that Campion is great with a slingshot. And is in posessiom of a soon to be noclear android AND an irresistible fruit from.the tree (which may be the reason n7 is following him in the first place) My prediction is this:
Campion will be the David which kills necrosnake Goliath throwing a fruit weaponized wih Vrill's core with a well thrown slingshot to it's teethy mouth - or blocking its electroshout and detonating the nuclear component in the fruit.
Also we know that nuclear weapons were the only thin capable to kill necromancers, which n7 totally is. It all made sense. Guys! I think i finally predicted something!
This makes sense bro
The other image that they could evoke is Saint George and the Dragon. With campion piercing 7 with Vrielle's spine. That would be cool.
Campion never took one of the fruit. He put it back down after smelling it. I think mother's coming back for the snake with the veil this time for a second try at destroying it and in the preview for episode 8 we see Campion entombing Vrille with a rocks.
@@fmaries7000 It makes me wonder what will happen to Campion if he eat the fruit.
My basic theory . As lifeforms go to war which were created by the sol/ai , they turn to weapons of war created by the ai/sol . The serpent is a doomsday weapon that ends life and allows the experiment to reboot. on 22b the sea creatures save some humans and reseed after doomsday and restart life. The ai also recreates the experiment from scratch on different planets in the hope of producing new independent thinking lifeforms like humans rather than singular intelligence like itself in the hope it will produce a non warring species.
dude, do you really find all these connections within the show by yourself? there are so many subtle (and not so subtle) references within the show that connect everything together and watching this video finally made it make sense!! u got skillz!
Love this show. Keeps you on your toes!
Nice insight from the podcast. The behind the scenes guys seem to give away a lot of info with what they say.
Great episode
I wonder if we'll see Father will go necromancer mode to protect the kids and he didn't know he could
He wasn't programmed for that.
@@pdcdesign9632 we don’t know if the information we have on father is correct. Grandmother obviously though he was her partner and they keep talking about him being the most indestructible service model. They are hinting at father being more than we are told.
Maybe Grandma was corrupted by the entity long ago and the veil is keeping that back. I think they're all in a LOT of trouble when that thing comes off. What if she joined the serpent and since it does have feelings chooses to fight for it's brother/mother in the end...
This was good man
Easily becoming one of my favorite shows of all time
Is this a prequel to ‘The Never Ending Story’? Campion gives mega Atreyu vibes.
The flying snake looks super badass now.
This show is getting so good now tbh, season one took forever to get things started, season 2 the begging took awhile to establish conflicts, now these past 4 episode since mother shut down the trust the show is really good.
Father used his own fluids to regenerate grandmother. That might come in to play later
Grandmother is a believer, she wears a veil/burka
After seeing the trailer for episode 8, I am convinced that Grandmother’s veil will encapsulate Mother and somehow imprison her while Grandmother begins running the show.
I think that's a huge possibility as well. Mother being wrapped up in the veil. If it does happen, I hope Marcus and Paul come to mother's rescue. Marcus and Paul definitely have some very big redemption to make up.
I loved your comment about the headless android seeming pointless and just using up the special effects budget . 🤣
Jeeesh, I hope the finally answers just a few of these questions. The sneak peak shows grandmother without her veil, yeah she looks pretty sinister
Thank you for your summary and insight, because I like this show, but, am not always entirely certain as to why. 😆
Grand mother told Mother that there used to be 2 factions : Beleivers and technocrates : Since the cards (made by technocrates) can destroy or prevent the raise of sol ( believers) so that the Romulus teeth can kill or devolve Technocrates -> For me we are seeing a cycle, after the war ended in Kepler, the two factions move back to earth . Then the backup plan was to get back to Kepler . You can see that the technocrates descendent (Campion sturges) put FEELINGS into mother (different from GM who has no feelings) and the believers put relics (like the tooth) on the ship . For me eatch faction is prepared to fight sol and get the planet since they failed in the first atempt . For me Marcus felt the same as the first BELIEVERS , thinking that SOL was a god and soon realised that they need to fight him in order to take on the planet.
I really love how crazy and abstract this show is. Every time I think I sort of have it figured out. The next episode throws everything out of the window. I have a feeling season 2 will end on a cliff hanger simlar to season 1. So there might be a wait until season 3 for any significant answers. I think at most the serpent could be defeated by mother. And grandmother is revealed to be another antagonist. Perhaps corrupted by Sol.
Oh my gosh! Slicing in Willie was the best!
Maybe grandmother is “Sol”, hence the gold suit and sun symbols plus the light she emits looks literally like sun light… 🤷♂️
but she was not alive until father found her
@@mmaxine1331 physically no but then again she is a powerful android so who’s to say her core hsnt been emitting signal for all this time. She looks like she can do stuff without having to actually touch anyone.
The power of Mother is in her eyes (literally). Does the vail will actually de-weaponize her (instead of helping)? Also, I find it interesting the paralel between Kepler and Earth with one exception: the robots were made by the atheist fraction in Kepler, according to Grandmother, while on Earth the Mithraic was the one with the technology. Why would they end up with the tech and robots, if in the original settings the Believers were the low-tech team?
Probably the same way the atheists got to Kepler high jack the ship with all the tech save on all the research and development
This episode was freaking AMAZING.
Oh! Grandmother is out for happiness as the shepherd she is. Thanks for the great breakdown!!!
Oh she def wants to be a god for sure
@3:13 beautiful acid shores of the Cape Town a.k.a the Mother City.
great episode
I just hope the next season comes around quicker.. "the serpent is weaponized" 😭
Curious as to what's in grandmother's system as well
My theory is the serpent will eat the people that ate the fruit. Yes he was a herbivore before he ate the tree. But when he ate the tree it had Mary Sue's blood coursing through roots and veins of the tree. The serpent initially was suppose to the destroy the planet and the people. But because the serpent has emotions his only focus is Campion at this moment. I also think the pervious people on the planet ate the fruit and devolved. Their devolution caused them to live under ground and in the shadows. I also agree with you that Grandmother is holding something back. Once Grandmother removes her veil who knows what it was suppressing. I'm surprised mother is not asking those questions. She seems desperate. A very human trait. Great reviews!!!
the nanomachines (like the ones in Romulus tooth or in Sue's seed) de-evolve living beings and the fruit makes them evolve, note how the snake evolved after eating it, so it is plausible that AI/The voice de-evolved ancient humans for some reason ( protect them, punish them, etc) and now they're trying to give them back to normal until they are enough to merit being herded by the androids
Have you heard anything about a season 3 renewal? What the fuck are those stupid HBOMax execs waiting for?! Renew it for a full 5 seasons, already!
That, seeing behind our own existence thing, needs to honestly be said to every old person in power today, as its something they refuse to do, as everything they do, they do not for the betterment of others nor for the future, but for themselves, repeating a endless cycle of failure.
Can't wait for the final episode
This is one the best sci-fi shows available anywhere right now! I'm curious though; where does everyone think "Grandmother" stands?... Benevolent or malevolent? Is she REALLY on the side of humanity or is she just another weapon of Saul? Can't wait till next week to find out for sure!
I think she is a weapon but once that veil comes off she will be free to act independently.
@@BenFrankarts OOOOOHHHH!!!! Didn't even THINK of THAT!!? Great perspective man! That makes absolute sense and would be a great plot twist too! Especially since Mother is so desperate right now to protect Campion from #7; she seems to be blindly open to whatever this Grandmother character is offering up as help.
Oh did you notice they never really show the tree with all 5 branches separately showing. Like one is always obscured like a false prophecy
Thank you
