Yes. It is similar but the exam will based on your speciality. Remember they ask for experience post your PG.

As far as what I know - The experience required is as a dentist and not as a dental assistant. So won't be counted. Still please contact DHA for clarity.
Actually we cannot..once you get registered as a dental assistant in DHA you cant work later as a dentist there.

Only after internship clinical experience is counted. During internship is consider as internship experience.

I have a question. I’m a German dentist and I didn’t completed an internship after my graduation cuz here in germany once you are graduated you will go straight into a clinic or hospital for work. (There is no internship Programm here after you graduate in dentistry)

You can apply as a specialist if you want to only do work related to your speciality. Then the exam questions will be only about your field. You will need 2 years experience post MDS to practice as a specialist there.

She has done her BDS from Pacific University Udaipur & registered with Dental Council of India.
So my first question is to whom I should approach for Good standing certificate Pacific University or DCI
my second question is, will respected authority will share the certificate with me or they will directly share with the DHA (in case if they will directly sharing to DHA how I am supposed to complete online document submission in absence of good standing certificate in hand )

You will have to contact state dental council where she is registered. You have to go there see that her dues are paid then they will give it you. You will have to upload it.

Work experience has to be done in your country. You should find a job that pays.

You will still have to give the DHA because your degree is still BDS from India. Nbde is just the entrance to DDS or Masters. If you had a DDS it would be different.

I don't know how it can be done there. Usually done in the school or college you graduate from. You can contact the universities in UAE if you can do the internship there..

Looking at the current scenario with saturation of dentists in Dubai, will you advise to opt for MOH than DHA or HAAD. Is it possible to work for sometime in other emirate and later relocate to Dubai? I am an oral Pathologist with 4 years experience into clinical dentistry.... . Thanks
After 6 months of experience in the emirate you apply you can shift.. this is the current rule but they are planning to make shifting from one emirate to other easier eventually..

About private clinic there have been those who used it. But some said they faced a problem with it.
Salary has reduced over the years with more people applying and currently varies btw 3k to 12k dirhams for new graduates. Some get paid percentage of cases done as well.
It is expensive in there with housing and food. You need to do well in terms of salary to get your family along.

Depends on what you want to do. Some specialists after going on specialist visa do many general dentistry procedures as well.

Hi we actually thought about it. The problem we saw with pay scale is that it is highly variable even for the same experience and same country depending on clinic you get and your skill set. So we decided to skip that part.
Oh and what about books preferences for different exams.
Sir some friends told me that there they are not treating female dentist as male. And the development in clinical practice will affect. Male patients don't choose female dentist. I am not sure but heared.

I don't know if there are centres in Pakistan. You will have to check that out in prometric website. India for example has such centres. Please check the prometric website for clarity 🙂..

If you want to try search the websites which provide jobs there like indeed. Then check the insurance jobs available check what are the requirements and based on that decide whether you have to do a course before you apply.

What if we have gaps in practice..?????.I completed my BDS in 2009...and had done MDS in Oral pathology...in 2014...I know OP is not get counted in middle east....In between I was practising...but again..after corona...there was a gap of 1.5 yrs .wat Ican I do in such case??please guide.
You need the required experience just prior to applying so I don't think you can count the experience prior to it. Still I would suggest contacting them because due to COVID if they have given concession I am not sure.

Fellowship student is considered as a general dentist only. So the same experience as a general dentist is required.

You can work as an assistant (not dentist but helper). But to work as a dentist you require the experience.
The university there provides an externship program for which you have to pay. I think the duration is 1 year. You will have to ask them if you can pay for the duration of experience you are short on and can you work there. But yes that would cost you quite a bit.

Tough to work with the ministry. the process is the same to practice there. But clearing the interview in ministry is difficult as they like most countries prefer their own citizens Emiratis🙂..

No you can't work in visit visa. You need a job visa. Employer should be willing to sponsor your visa. Which usually no part time employer will..

By working in a clinic in the country where you did BDS you will get your experience.

Total 3 yrs. If you have a gap you need to prove you were attending dental programs. Arabic is not compulsory. But knowing it is an advantage. It helps increase the number of patients you can convince and treat.
