Hi Claire, I always watch your videos from start to finish I love every one …… Well good good on u Claire u most definitely struggled had a lot of little & big jumps but my goodness Claire, u jumped all the different Hurdles Won the race & got your really well Deserved Gold medal 🥇 +110% for Perseverance 👍✨❤️ Lin
Love your pumpkins! And a big thank you for sharing the best way (and worst) to mold something that is very light. From the signs to the pinecones....beautiful arrangement!🧡💛💚
This brings back a few nightmares 🤣 When moulding something buoyant I usually pour a bit into the bottom first to secure it. The next layer after that should bond to it. I love the word buoyancy, it really floats my boat ⛵😁
Well this video has great timing Claire...the other day I purchased a bundle of foam pumpkins to mold too! 🙃 Despite the challenges, you made it work 😁and they look pretty great🤩😍 I also love the lil imperfections, gives some character 😉 Thank you 🤗
They are fabulous, I felt your pain with the silicone pour as this had happened to me the first time I tried doing a pour of a skull 😂 I got it kind of right in the end, but I haven't tried any silicone pour yet.
I love these pumpkins! I actually ordered the pumpkin bundle from Amazon just before the video started. Hopefully I’ll be able to make my moles this week. Thanks so much for showing us. 😁
So it can be applied to anything. That could open the gates for lots of crafter's. Total right choice doing the red colour, it adds to the feel. Plus I have never seen a 100% perfect pumpkin. So I think it makes these look realistic.
Well cute Claire. Just a quick question can the silicone be painted on objects? I use latex for my moulds, which takes 3 weeks to make. But feel that the silicone would be stronger and more durable. I work with concrete though.
Extraordinary process! Excellent outcome! You should be rewarded by Let's Resin. In fact, I've been wanting to make a mold and your work always inspires. Great pumpkins! Do you have a discount code for Let's Resin? Thank you, either way.
Could you cut the walls a little thinner on the thick mold (from top to bottom with a sharp knife)? It wouldn't be perfectly round, anymore, but the inside would be the same.
Hello Claire, I know that you are not responding to all comments anymore but I hope you will respond to this or at least someone else on here. I do seascapes and have a crab shell that I would love to make a mold of. Do you have a suggestion on how to make a silicone mold of a crab shell? I am needing the entire crab body not just the outside and that is where I am stumped. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Hi, Claire! In the 1970's there was a push to convert the US to the metric system. Unfortunately, people didn't go for it. So when you say a Jesmonite pumpkin weighs 418 grams, you might as well say that it costs a bajillion pence. (Siri will help, though.) They turned out great. I'm so excited that Halloween is here. Honestly, it's only so I can see what you make this year. You really shine on the holidays - especially Halloween! Take care.
I’m in the uk and I struggle I love going to Florida to visit family because you use inches feet n stuff. I can’t work out big number and have to search stuff then convert in inches oz and stuff why we ever changed. Claire you managed it we had faith in you.
So sorry! Never mind my question as I found the link. I don't really care for the comments going up into your description box. It makes it difficult for impatient folks like me to hunt for something that's not even showing until you locate the "more" button. That's not your fault but UA-cam's decision to do that, I expect.
I love both the sizes and colours of those cute little pumpkins! 😍
So very happy you persevered knowing the struggle with making these molds. The results are brilliant 🥰
Thankyou so much Edward ❤️❤️❤️

Heyyyyy Alison it can be yes .. but truly would take just as long ... its sooo thin but could definitely be built up I'd say 😍
@@ClairesCraftyCorner thanks for replying 🥰🥰🥰

Hey, sorry I missed it hun, I’ll watch later.xx
Heyyyyy my lovely ❤️ no worries at all
Now that you have the heavy pumpkins, are you going to try to remold them? Will they still float back up?
Heyyyyy yes they would work so much better and they would not float up 😍😍
Could you cut the walls a little thinner on the thick mold (from top to bottom with a sharp knife)? It wouldn't be perfectly round, anymore, but the inside would be the same.
Yes Miley .. I believe that could be done for sure 😍😍😍 and like you say if would still work x
Hey Claire, can I ask why you didn't use your let's resin mould wall thingy?
Heyyyyy Lainey ... yes the pumpkins were taller than the mould 😍

🤣🤣🤣🤣 miley lol brilliant yeh we still use grammes and ounces here .. pounds and stones for weight ... not KG ... its all very different x
