I like the whale without the white. The whale makes it I think. The shells are really pretty. Many years ago I had an abalone lamp. So pretty. I like the swirls. That's a favorite color. Really nice .
This is so beautiful, I love the shades of blue. The whale brings depth to this piece and turns it into a deep ocean seascape. It feels endless, and 3D.
Oh my goodness! This is amazing, Claire! ❤😊 I would never have thought to use abalone (yes, you're saying it right) shells in an eco pour! GORGEOUS! I love working with the abalone chips, but have only done it with resin. 😊
I bought abalone from Petra Jongbloed. It's the real Australian abalone. Absolutely stunning, and comes at an excellent price. This came out gorgeous ❤❤❤❤
Absolutely stunningly gorgeous Honey ❤ I love everything you did with this gorgeous piece. My colors to. I have abalone shells waiting to be used. I finally got some insulation to put up around a fan in my window to suck the poison outside. Now the mid 30s weather won't be coming in and fighting with my air-conditioned. Let my resin journey begin. Woohoo. Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all ❤ I will be going back to some of your videos for creating ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Claire, I adore this tray! The whale plus the abalone shells is truly beautiful. Blues and turquoise are my favorite colors, too. I have one tiny container of abalone shells and have yet to use them. Now I know how I will use them without fear of wasting them. ❤❤❤
Heyyyyy Cally ... that would be lovely ... It was just something I didn't want to do with this piece. Jesmonite does pick up MicA... but not all of it like Resin .. it always leaves some behind 😍😍😍
@@Made4YouResin I figured that adding resin over the top would take care of holding it in place. I've only used Resincrete with resin on top, so i'm not familiar with Jesmonite.
I can't remember if it's resin can't be poured on Jesmonite or vice versa. I was kinda thinking the same thing could be done after adding the white acrylic. I think mica powders would be interesting, but I think I would still prefer just the white paint.
Beautiful! I got abalone shells from Temu for my first try. Ordered only the colors I wanted to experiment with. Small amounts in the containers but plenty for small projects.
Awhile back you mentioned using nail art to search instead of resin and yes, I've found some great deals on temu for small jewelry pieces. Thanks again, Claire! You are the best!!
Shrinky-Dink! I LOVE SHRINKY-DINK! Oh so I live in California in the Monterey Bay area. It's absolutely gorgeous here and I'm not saying this because I'm from this area either. Look up Carmel, Pacific Grove, Big Sur and so on and so forth. Stunning area. Anyways, I purchased an abalone shell for like 10 bux and it's like an 8 inch round. Love it!!!!
Thankyooooo lovely xx everything I make is sitting on shelves... one day I hope to be brave enough to do some craft fairs one day 😍😍🙈🙈 I used to have an Etsy ... and sell loads but they upset me so i closed it down ... then I quit my job to do this full time and selling became too much. I do sometimes sell through Instagram. I will get messages following videos. Sorry for the essay 🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
WoW, I wasn’t expecting the shells to come out like this. I, personally loved the piece just is, without going in and adding white. Are you going to use this as a coaster? All good & pretty good ❤
I’m like you, would love it more without the whale. I love love abalone shells. Be interested to know how it wears. I’ve had some of the dyes shells leach their colours after time. Love this is deffo a bit of me! xxx
Love the whale I live in Hervey Bay Australia. We have thousands of whales that come here every year during our winter and spring, I was wondering where you got the whale stamp from I would like to get one for myself for my projects
Love it! I bought some of these i always look for nail art stuff not resin stuff and candle molds on Amazon they always ramp up the price for resin stuff! However temu #iseeyouorderingmore have loads of nail art stuff and crushed shell stuff a fraction of the price Amazon do! Only downside to Temu is waiting cor it to arrive unlike Prime orders being same day or next day 😂
I have a bit of a silly question. I’m totally new to jesmonite and I was wondering if using the abalone shells would work with product used to make the soap dishes?
I think a crystal cluster in the marble colors would also look nice inside the whale. Yours is very pretty. I love everything you do!🥰
Very nice. ❤ the whale. Looked for it to no avail. Love this piece.
This is stunning, I love Abalone shells. I have used them in resin on a black background they really pop.
This idea is genius! I’m getting ready to make garden stepping stones. 💕💕
I’ve used the abalone shells in a turtle lamp I made along with black sand. Turned out beautiful. Love abalone shells. 🥰
So excited to see you work with Jesmonite again. This is beautiful!!
So true the shell is much cheaper for nails than resin. Love this piece!

Wow, it’s really pretty, love the abalone shells ❤
I love the sparkle of the shells!

Thought you would put clear resin in the whale, I do love it.Ty Debby
I've just started using abalone shells and they are beautiful, but they really look stunning in the jesmonite

Abalone nacre just has a wonderful iridescence. Lovely piece Claire. 😊👍
Hi Claire love this piece 😍 so beautiful, you were so right to go with the marble, it's lush 🥰, woohoo 🎉 new bathroom, thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Very pretty. Thank you
Thanks Claire, it came out beautifully ❤😊
That is really amazing! I love the colors and the abalone shells! I have some Resin Crete so I have got to try this!
Love the Abalone shells!
Oh, wow! This looks wonderful!❤❤
Beautiful Claire! Loved to watch your video from start till end, thank you for sharing this video!
It's beautiful and I love the colors ❤.
Beautiful I love abalone shell.

Tray, yes… I kept thinking coaster, yet it looks to large
Nicely done Claire.
I'm curious why you didn't brush mica powder in the whale? and a layer of resin over all of it? it's beautiful - no argument there!
I was thinking the same thing. I love it when she uses stamps as inlays!
Heyyyyy Cally ... that would be lovely ... It was just something I didn't want to do with this piece. Jesmonite does pick up MicA... but not all of it like Resin .. it always leaves some behind 😍😍😍
It doesn't pick it up the same as resin does, it's abit like a stoney texture once cured and doesn't go sticky like resin

I love Abalone Shells and you doing this piece with the marbled effect is stunning 🤩😍 To me having the whale in there gives it that added extra
🥰

I love it its stunning Claire x

Sorry for the essay 🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
@@ClairesCraftyCornerI use mine as teacher gifts and give the rest away to friends and family. Not brave enough to try to sell.
Pretty! Bought that stamp set immediately. First stamps. I can see my wallet shrinking… haha
WoW, I wasn’t expecting the shells to come out like this. I, personally loved the piece just is, without going in and adding white.

I love it, except when you put the white in the whale... love the colors!
Thankyooooooo ❤️ I think I prefer it with no whale at all 🤣🤣🤣
I have a bit of a silly question. I’m totally new to jesmonite and I was wondering if using the abalone shells would work with product used to make the soap dishes?
I am Canadian and have not heard of Jesmonite or eco pours.
Are these types of resin?
Heyyyyy Melanie ... it is an Acrylic Based water based eco friendly casting compound. There are also two Canadian stockists. 😍😍😍😍
@@ClairesCraftyCorner thank you!
could you fill in the whale with resin?
I gotta get me some abalone! I must confess that I liked the whale better before you used the white paint. 🥴
Thank yoooo Judy 😍😍 I think I would have preferred it with no whale altogether 🤣❤️
Oh this is beautiful 😍 love it!!!
