As someone who was into Twilight growing up I went through three stages The first when I was very openly loving Twilight Then the angsts phase when it was cool to hate it but still secretly liked it And now that I can recognize that the saga is very flawed and the books are poorly written but I remember fondly listening to this soundtrack and waiting for the trailers to come out and eventually going to see the movies, I appreciate Twilight because it made me feel like part of something. And also led me to seek other Vampire books, some good some I think even worse than Twilight itself. Lead me into reading in general.

I vividly remember waking up really early for school one morning, and had MTV on in the background while I brushed my teeth and got dressed, and I heard this song. I couldn't focus on anything else, but then I went to watch the music video and I remember thinking "Oh god, it's Twilight, this sucks" As the song went on, and the music video showed clips of Twilight, I remember the urge to watch it growing more and more, then I caved in. Honestly, the series has its problems, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a good time.
