Nothing beats watching Joker ripping off his mask that’s bonded to his skin so hard that bloods start dropping from his face and see suddenly him burst into demonic flames with the biggest evil grind you ever seen him does. Definitely my most favorite awakening.
Man, Joker's awakening cutscene has become one of my favorite gaming moments. I wish the other character's awakenings were as in depth and graphic as this cutscene.

It’s a representation of taking off your mask to show your true self. Do you see any of the party members in pain from the summoning after the initial awakening?

The fact no one ever comments on the meaty sound of Joker getting hit in the face with the shield disappoints me. Like, you hear the sound of glass breaking. The amount of shards of glass that would have been lodged in his face is insane.
@julie martinez Except not everyone has played Persona games. Someone getting hit in the face is much more common (cartoons, movies, doesn't even have to be anime related). Summoning a Persona is not as common. Even if you played the other Persona games, the way it's summoned is different. So.......
It's slightly gorier than the other Persona awakenings, but at least he doesn't have to blow his brains out over and over to prove his resolve or whatever. 11/10

It really breaks my heart on how this whole situation turned out.. After the gust of wind that blew everyone back the guards’ hold on him was weaker and they let go of him in shock, so he could move his arms

@Yolo Lol There was a video of the police coming to apprehend him and he kept on spouting stuff that people should leave him alone or that someone was coming after him. This was pretty recent.

I've never played a persona game in my life so i basically went into this game blind. I've heard that persona was basically "stands but pokemon" so I was like okay, a lot of people liked this game, I'll buy it and play! and god I was in AWE, I totally wasn't expecting the awakening to be this epic?? After playing the game for about 66 hours (I'm in the last palace), it's so weird watching this again with all the known knowledge I have now?? it's so neat

Persona 5's symbolism and gameplay, story, designs, map design, etc were all way ahead of any video game even to this day. This will forever remain one of my favorite video game scenes of all time.
