I usually go for 44mm but this year decided to try the 40mm and its so much more comfortable. Battery life is significantly worse but I charge my watch daily anyways so its not a big deal this watch easily get through the day.
@@worthless_opinion the bigger watch brushes up against the bottom of the hands and wrists when I'm lifting weights. It's pretty uncomfortable. I'm coming for a galaxy watch 4 44mm. Laying in bed is also alot more comfortable when resting your hand on your head
Got 16cm wrist size and Im going for the 44mm version this time, we'll see if it fits! Update: The watch size is good, although make sure you go with the S/M Band instead of the M/L one.
I chose the 40mm one and it arrived today. It's my first smartwatch so I figured I'd go for a smoother, smaller size to get used to it (despite my wrists not being very small). I really, really like the look of it. The cream color on the casing is more of a (warm) silver.
I preordered the 40mm green, I have a small wrist (15cm), for me personally the ergonomics and the discreet nature of the watch matters since I want it to blend with everything I wear, especially jackets in this Illinois winter.
I think the 40mm looks better on your wrist, it looks more professional. The 44mm looks goofy and too big on your wrist. The other thing is the body of the watch should not be as wide as your wrist, if it is all the pressue is being applied right under the watch and will cause discomfort and eventualy even pain. It might take a year before pain develops but when it does you wont want to wear your watch. There should be at least a quarter inch of skin on both sides of the frame of the watch so that the band and back of the watch sit flush with your skin. If there are any air gaps on either end of the watch it is too big for your wrist. You should also know the 40mm size is not specificaly for female wrists. In fact 40mm is designed for the average of all wrists which is 7 to 7.5 inches.
I ordered the 40mm, I been a Apple Watch user since they first came out and always got the big one, but for some reason I think the galaxy watches look huge on my wrist so decided for smaller. I dont necessary care about the battery life as long as it gets me through my shift at work I am good, charge my electronics every night anyway.
I like 40mm a lot. It is great for Fitness and I don't notice it when I sleep. What I don't understand is why they went with different colors for different sizes, and why I couldn't choose the free fabric band in a different color. This way I have to sell the one I got with the watch and buy a new one.
