I am glad not to be the only person to notice this seems to be the trend. They are always destroying the love lives of black women. At first, I thought it was just when they were with white/asian men especially when the relationship was between two professional and confident couples, but now I realise they are that they do it for all their relationships.
They had some chemistry, but despite her loveless status (until her boss, Danny, hit her up for a kiss at the office), ALL the men looked at her like she was a chocolate-dipped, solid gold little goddess: Hawley, Luke, Andy, Danny, and even Crane...
Another reason to dislike the front-runners of this show. Why build chemistry between Abbie and Hawley only to hand him to Jenny? I know Hawley and Jenny had a history, but he paid way more attention to Abbie.
They would have been cute. Abbie was ignoring it because of Jenny, but they had a spark. Plus, he is so handsome!! All the guy's her age on the show wanted Abbie to notice them. And I get it. She was a strong, intelligent, beautiful woman. Any man would have been lucky to have her by his side. To bad the way everything went down.

I'm still pissed how they set it up like it was going to be Hawley and Abbie then did a complete 360 and put him with Jenny. They completely screwed Nicole Beharie over and their karma was the show went to sh*t.

Like I don’t get how he passed over his feeling in one single episode and go back straight to Jenny??? Anyway, à Nick x Abbie x Ichabod live triangle would have been awesome but nah, the writers had to failed us in every way possible 🙃
