I am bitter. And sad. Frustrated, disappointed and angry. Abbie deserved better than this. We all deserved better.
This is my way of saying goodbye to these two. I just wish the circumstances were different. Also, I have used this song a million times before, but I always return to it when something like this happens. It has never failed to make me feel better and worse at the same time.

Abbie was the entire soul of the show. I don't think it's going to be the same without her. Very emotional!
This is a lovely video. Man, years later I’m still salty about the way this series turned out. Sleepy Hollow was my favorite hour of the week for a while-I loved the supernatural/creepy stuff, but Tom and Nicole were the ones who really made the series shine. They were one of the best on-screen duos I’d ever seen, perhaps only topped by Mulder and Scully from The X-Files. They had so much more potential... it really was a waste. :(

I waited all of these seasons to see Ichabod and Abbie get together and now she's gone...for real gone! I was so sick when I saw the last episode, but this is indeed a beautiful tribute to both of them. The show isn't going to be the same with out Abbie and Ichabod as partners.
Later got more information on her leaving, but it seems she was cheated. Hope she and Tom are still friends.

At least they got live together and they both knew they loved each other and had each other. They knew they had a bond stronger than anything, Thta better than most love stories where couples end up kissing.

@@GrainneMhaol Well I can't argue about that... They had such a bond. In the end, they were living together! He made coffee before they went back to the catacombs,, she got him a Donut. They even shared that with each other (A small none apocalypse demonstration of their love and bond)
If this was any other show in the end they would have been married with kids in season 6.
Abbie tried to be with other guys but with her life, she really could now be with anyone else BY but Crane (and visa versa)
She was the show... never got the credit for first black woman lead in series she deserved.

I'm still salty as hell over this. IN 2021!! Abbie was Crane's life line, and she was the heart of the show. I know Nicole was ill and experiencing sexism, and some micro racism on the show, which she later explained. But for them to end her story the way they did was bs. Sleepy hollow was my favorite show, and their connection kept me wanting to see them save the world. The fact that they thought the show could just go on without her was so disrespectful to what they and Tom and Nicole created. This will forever be a waste of talent. Glad Nicole is better now. If they rebooted the show and brought her back, oh man!! Sign me up!!! ASAP
I was waiting for a comment with update info into her living the show and her role.... when she dies and I saw the first episode of the last season with the new girl...... I was over it. Bud they brought her back with him and give the viewer a UCB needed confession between them.... yesss I’m here for it.

I'm so sorry to say but I don't think I can watch the show anymore... Not without Abbie. I just can't. And I wanted Crane to end up with her so badly too. Not right away, but a few seasons down the line. And now I just can't... It hurts too much...
I have always loved the show in its entirety and understood. I just believe they should never permanently cut off a partner.... The season(s) and way it could have resumed and played out had thousands of chances and options instead of Abbie's sudden death....
There were many other options that could have aided the show in the long run, as well as the series

late af but found this show a week or two ago and today i saw the episode and... damn
It's been four years and I'm still broken. This was stunning.
This was beautiful. Despite the anger and sadness I feel about how the writers have handled this whole storyline. I am glad I get to be part of a fandom that honours it's characters, like you have done so wonderfully in this video. Abbie was the glue that held this show together and Ichabbie was what made it real and their partnership as witnesses shall continue to be the best thing about the show, no matter how season 4 plays out!

Yep. They did the exact same thing to that white man/ black woman relationship with Joss and Reese. And they also did the exact same thing on the tv show "Twisted". Except they didn't kill the black female lead off, they just "again" relegated her to fewer scenes and they made her gay. But when Avan Jogia who was the lead male interest on Twisted got his job on the movie TuT, he got Kylie Bunbury ( his black love interest on Twisted, before they abruptly broke them up) a job on the movie too

I am just thinking how beautiful they could have handled the show.. Here I am YEARS later being disappointed by this. And also by reading people’s comments and fanfics about Abbie and Crane I came to the conclusion that not only people saw the potential too but they took it in their own hands and wrote some really nice stories. Stories that could have been told in the show with no problem

I hate how they did this show!! There was sooo much connection between Ichabod and Abbie! Season 2 was good because you can tell the writers were listening to the fans. BUT after that?? Like, y'all can't just severe their connection like that. I literally saw the first episode of the last season and that was it. ichabod would not have gone that long without talking to Abbie. They had a connection and of course they made her sacrifice herself! They couldn't give us Ichabod and Abbie. That was the whole point of them getting rid of the wife. Ugh! This show had so much potential but it was alll wasted. I have been holding this rant in for a while. So pissed lol

I loved that they stayed as a friends, because in this world a man and a woman can be soulmates friends, those who are so difficult to find in live, they represent that for me. For once, i had what i always wanted to see and nobody understood around me. How a man can be an inconditional friend of a woman, sharing the cleanest and good friendship for her.
