One of my favorite favorite Mark Knopler songs by a long shot! I never get tired of listening to it and this group of musicians play it as great as you could ask for!
That guitar was designed by John Shur, and the ideia of Mark was to have similar sound of a Gibson. And I think it is preatty close, if we compare the soung with his gibson 58 or 59.

I agree. I think at that time, Mark Knopfler wished to take a back seat from the Dire Straits name to a more subdued musical direction. Shame this song wasn't included on Missing.... Presumed Having a Good Time.
