Lo V's Passing E 180th Tower (Oct. 9, 2009)

It was the fall of 2009 when the Lo-V's were dispatched to pick up passengers for the Yankees playoff game. Seen here passing the old East 180th Street Tower, which would soon be history itself, due to an ongoing rebuilding and reconfiguration of the East 180th St. yard and mainline which was taking place at the time. In this October 2009 view, we see the Lo-V's on 'M' track as they pass the tower and East 180th St. station enroute to Manhattan where they will pick up passengers for the game.
