Hi. Thank you for commenting. Yes you can book specialty restaurants onboard using your app or calling dining services from any ships phones. Many often sell out so booking early is a good idea good if you have a specific day or time. Happy cruising!
Thank you Jeff and Becky! Questions: We are on Royal Princess, and the app only shows two Dining Rooms, Concerto (Anytime) and Allegro (Reservable). Strangely enough, Symphony is not listed nor are there any traditional times as you showed in your video. Have you heard of some ships not being included with the new change of a Traditional Dining option? Secondly, we have a Premier package and when we try to reserve a restaurant, it wants to charge us rather than letting us use our two dining credits each. Any advice? We have a cruise booked on Royal as well. I cannot even go into the dining except through going down to Journey. We were only given the choice of Allegro and there was no way to even see the other dining rooms. Yet on my Discovery Princess cruise, which is still over 600 days away, I can get to my reservations through the "Book Dining" area. It even lets me select all the dining rooms (we have booked Juneau) but the other two say there is nothing available.

First, make sure you are using the latest version of the app. Second is that the Princess says Traditional Dining will be fleet wide after September 14 so if your cruise is before then, it may not be active. @@ACruisingGoodTime Yes we have downloaded the latest version of the app and the cruise is in November. It seems to be a "Royal" thing as several people on our Facebook group are having the same problem. They can only get into Allegro and have not been able to identify which one is Traditional. We believe it will be Symphony but nobody can access it.
Did they get rid of the Edit button on the dining reservations or is there a glitch with my app because my "Upcoming Reservations" doesn't have an Edit button it just has a Cancel button. If I want to change anything I have to cancel the whole thing.

It does sound like an issue with the Royal. I hope they get it corrected for you soon.
