@beyondbackwater4933 yeh I was itching to comment that they really need to wear breathing protection with all the dust but I'm pretty sure they are aware of the health risks they are exposing themselves too, they probably just don't care so I didn't bother bringing it up.
Hey guys good work I've been painting for 30 years just one thing I wouldn't be bogging over acrilic paint all commodores up until vrs were acrilic paint some vrs were 2k body filler is amazing compared to when I started but I still wouldn't put it over acrilic its thermo plastic not a good base dont want to be a downer but I would paint strip the acrilic off also spray polly basically spray on bog after you main bog job keeps the surface uniform and level compared to using an applicator board that down then primer
No panel beater, but have seen some shops when doing body lines, door gaps etc, use new door seals in place and sand bags in doors to simulate the same weight of glass, regs, and trims etc so your getting it straight and lined up as it's meant to be when fully assembled and painted.
Great work boys iv done a few cars of my own and a few of my friends cars in my back yard iv learnt a lot more from watching u two keep up the great job guys
Great work guys. I really like how you guys said about always learning about new processes and products. I have been a spray painter for nearly 20 years and in that time I have seen so much evolution.
I'm just wondering wouldn't have been faster just to 3M.. filler.. then use at high grade polyester.. speed file all oft that... Then hit it with with 2K primer? Then ready for paint 🤔
Killer stuff! I feel like with splines or linear blocks and guide coat they pick up such minor lows with guide coat.. even though you can barely feel them 👌🏻👌🏻
Hope that filler is slightly flexible, my vl Calais used to have slight creases between the rear wheel arch and the rear quarter glass because the cars flex so much.
“Do your best bog the rest” new Tshirt 😎🤣👍🏻 love the videos blokes keep it up 😎
"Do your best bog the rest".. that line just relieved the months of anxiety doing panel work on my Chrysler. Cheers guys and thanks!
When you handed him the shirts and he said he loved you was my favorite part.
Only a real man would admit loving another man over video 😂😂 on ya jake
I always have huge respect for panel guys endurance. Your arms must be near on falling off by the end of each day.
I'd be more concerned with all the dust and paint particles inhaled

Mates helping mates,with different things.
Jake's Putting out some great stuff.
Sharing the knowledge.
Give resto prep a go, it’s a polyester spray bog. Pretty much exactly what Jakes is doing but you spray it on. It’s the Bomb.

Some good advice.. panel and paint can be such a personal thing.. you guys do a good job explaining it out loud.. 👍 keep up the good work

Careful of the glue under the boot bonnet and door intrusion bars .. it may block down nice but will still have wobbles ..
It's all good boys dead lines are made to be broken at times ween working on show car finishes
Always a fun video
Bill in Fort Wayne
I did the Tonner in My shed, similar way, I used all u need poly primer, for the layer that you used the glaze, looking good though..
The shrinking lines is called mapping
Was that an Odyssey in the background there?

Fat Tony Merch 🤘
You ever thinking of building a old classic with a blower

Do your best bog the rest ts 😆
Those blocks may not get you the standard you are chasing .. if you are keeping it for a long time poly prime it ..
Sorry it’s called resto finish not resto prep
If I wanted to see stuff from Jakes chop shop I would have viewed his channel. Do work on your own stuff..
