Always mark: Sluttiness & Co. nourish the suspicion that it's all diversionary tactics because the music they display is so poor and empty. Sad to say the "music" business is eager to make the consumer unlearn to listen to the music.

She's the best singer I've ever heard.
Just saw them at Union Transfer in Philly. Perfect venue to see them live. They were in good form that night and sounded brilliant. They did a cover of "Walking on Broken Glass" that was electric. They said they were winding down their tour (of nearly a year on the road) to do another album, so I am so looking forward to them coming back in concert again.
This band is so sweet. Bad Self Portraits got me hooked. Rachel is sweet on those vocals and that other gal can rock the upright.

Why don't they have 20 # 1 hits by now? There's a lot of great overlooked bands but they have a very accessible/ commercial / pop sound that I would think most people would dig.

Ran to into Rachel at Union Square Market in NYC last winter. Terrific person. Said to be sure to come to the Beacon show Feb 25....unfortunately that doesn't work, but they're back at Radio City in NYC in October- YESSS!

Whoever taught live sound mixers to mix backing vocals low has a lot to answer for. I've seen it happen time and time again, yet _""strangely""_ have never heard backing vocals be too loud. It's _almost_ like backing vocalists can monitor their own voices while singing on stage!

In Italy if you have a good voice, and can sing loud too, you have no chance to find a record label - radios need you if you're like anybody else. In the U.S. is really strange they are not in the charts....
