I had seen this set on Amazon and was umming and awing over it for a few days. Expecting a "You get what you pay for" But after seeing this review I thought "Sod it" and brought it. "£26 for 40 threads. Cant be that bad" I thought......... It kept breaking in my machine. Over and over again. The bobbin thread started showing when using the white. So I lowered the tension. Then lowered it more, then more, soon the tension was on 0. Then I noticed. It was snagging in the machine. Something I dont have happen with Madeira threads.
I have just boxed them up to return.
I got this thread and so far so good. Done several Disney and Pokeman characters. Good thread for the price and I am happy. Had a few breaking issues, but it was kind of a fluke more so with my pe780D
Good to know. I have done several more designs as well and no thread issues either. I did have a needle issue I initially thought was the thread but wasn't. I will post the needle issue video soon. It had me baffled for about 30 minutes! Thanks for watching.
have u ever used the craftOpoly brand from amazon?
quick question my man..for embroidered patches would the material you're using be good ? That was canvas correct ? i would just like a good quality material because i'm selling these but also something that is moderate in price to make it affordable for my customers, so if you know a material that would fit my needs it would help alot im using felt i placed the stabilizer on top with adhesive spray im hoping it works lol...I dont think it will be as stable as i like
