God bless you for this!!!! I haven't touched my serger in years. Been tucked away in the garage. Since I'm home during this pandemic, I decided to pull it out and my brain went into shock, because I couldn't remember how to thread this machine after all these years. I figured I'd follow the diagrams, but then I thought "LOOK FOR A UA-cam INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO!" And here you are. Thank you!!

I can’t tell you how many videos I’ve watched to get information on this serger. I’ve been so intimidated by this machine that it’s just been sitting on my table ‘cause I was afraid of breaking the thread it came with. I didn’t know how to thread it and have had a project the kids gave me sitting around for months without touching this thing. You’re video was so clear that I’m finally understanding how to thread it. The diagrams and small parts on the machine made the diagrams less than clear. Your video was awesome. Can’t wait to see what other videos you have on this serger. Thank you so much!

I’ve just got my Brother 1034D today, but ordered it three days ago and have been watching the different youtube videos on it. I have to say Burley Sew is by far my favorite instructor. Not a lot of excess chit chat insignificant things like what they ate recently or why they chose a certain color fabric. I appreciate that. Gets to the good stuff without static.

My husband purchased this exact same machine a year or so ago for a project he had. After only a few uses it got put by the wayside. After we moved to our new house, I set up a sewing room with my sewing machines and I decided to get the serger out. I very quickly found that I love it, but I also have no knowledge about how to thread it, change the needles, or perform any of the maintenance on it. The other day I broke both needles and I was able to locate a tool in my Super-Special Girly Toolbag to unscrew the area where the needles go in. But I still didn’t know how to thread it. I came across your tutorial and I must say it was incredibly easy to follow. I threaded the machine the first time incorrectly! Yay! Thank you for making a seemingly intimidating task very easy indeed!Peace AM
