Casuals who switched from warzone to 2042 will go back to any mid that's remotely close to cod in a heartbeat
Nothing Can replace Battlefield but for sure looks enticing compared to COD
That spider drone reminds me a lot of the ability of BO4 that would lock you in place for a free kill but this one actually seems stronger since its harder to shoot and get off 😂

I'm afraid this fad will continue at least a few more years.
I also think recoil is bugged. when you finish a burst, it shoots your aim hard opposite direction (if recoil is up and to the right, it drags down and to the left extremely far)
YES! This is why I could only play 1 game before quitting. Truly unbearable and upsetting because I was really looking forward to this game until now.
The spider bot was always available during the last playtest. I've used it, got caught by it an seen it crawling on the ground by a teammate using it. People were just so caught up using the op libertad faction that hardly anyone besides myself an some were using Deadsec an I still wasn't using it because it's ok whereas the other ability can hack people equipment like their shields an remedio health can

iv seen a spider drone like that in more games and i think the problem is not the stun mechanic but the insane speed it has combined with it just knowing where enemies are instead of searching where they are. and they need to make its health 1.
The crouch spam aiming sway is a known intented feature since the other closed beta man...they fully intened it to do that(mentioned it via tweet)so people don't abuse the movement like they already do...i see people jumping 4 to 5 times in a gunfight...i don't like it either but if you stop jumping and sliding as much it's not a problem at all now for me😅and yeah the spider drone is the most"who the actual fukkk thought that was a good ability to put in a game ever"😂😂
The problem is that this is only an issue on MnK, on controller you can move however you want mid gunfight, like literally jump like a rabbit and have perfect TTK.

@@jormungandr4690 stop looking at ways to mess with console players...i get it,AIM assist is a hot topic,i agree that in cod the game aims for you and that's not even fun for me...but they did that cuz of crossplay with you guys,and this game,xdefiant,that has barely any AIM assist shows why they need it so strong in cod,i personally prefer this lack of aim assist on xdefiant and had no issue competing against PC sweat lords,had a 1.9 kd with 13 hours of play time...but alot of casuals and even decent console players were struggling big time,the good news is,at launch You can decide to play imput to imput,If You don't like playing against controller players turn that on

Sorry that objective facts expose you so hard, but 99% of time when I died to ISNANE TKK, I ma talking under half a second, it was a controller.
It was so bad that 4 out of 6 people on the team would be running controller on PC, I dont know if they agressive AA is controller on PC specific though.

Does the ADS sway happen while strafing back and forth as well? I noticed I was having trouble hitting shots at longer ranges while strafing during closed beta.

Im pretty sure the aiming issues dont happen when you use a controller at least from my experience.
They could also make it so the drone just finds people and doesnt latch onto them
I’m glad they added sway to crouch spamming. Why try and win with tricks and hopping bopping rather than positioning and tactical play.
I'd love to see your analysis on how you think aim assist is way too strong. As a console player, it feels like its barely doing anything compared to the last 2 closed betas. Im still getting kills but it feels like a hinderance more than anything when it feels like it pushes me away from an enemy more than it pulls my aim towards them. Sometimes I just need a slight micro movement to the right or left to kill a guy but it seems like its actively pushing me off rather than "assisting" me. Kinda like the old aim assist issues COD used to have where its like "aim resist".
You don't know how to abuse it, which is kind of impressive. Aim assist auto rotation instantaneously reacts to directional changes, which is humanly impossible.

Dunno if you are on a console, but 90% of my lobbies were controller on PC, because AA is insanely broken in this game for controller. Literally you would die in 1 milisecond and you inspect them and it is a controller 100% of the time.

my main complaint is the hipfire to ads wasn't 1:1, you had to max out ads sens and it still is not enough to get 1:1, and the spider drone was in the other playtest but you had to level up a lot...i say make them slower

Spider drone needs a 4 minute cooldown
Drone should be changed to AoE stun/flash or a mobile motion detector. Easy change and doesn't bin the motion/artistic work of the team who thought this nuts mechanic would be fun.

I just played it yesterday. Im a bf player. I prefer cod’s and 2042’s Gunplay. After one hour i was bored. It was the same issue with cod’s multiplayer. I hoped back on 2042 and after 10 mins I found ot to be much by more exciting. I guess large scale battles are more my thing

Kinda, but I still prefer combined arms combat of Battlefield with tanks, aircraft and naval than run and gun on smaller maps. Will be a solid competitor for CoD, tho.

The spider bot used to be DedSec's ult and it used to spawn 3 of them in his ult. Yes, it was incredibly AIDS to play against. I have written many respectfully angry feedback reports to remove it from the video game entirely.

Wouldn't be a problem in battlefield considering how big the maps are and how many players there are.
@@ineptjedi3621 How is more people a positive? If half a team picks that specialist on their launch day, that means 16-32 spiderbots that can stunlock you at any given time. Liz wouldn’t be a problem on her own either, the reason vehicles went extinct until her early nerfs was because 20 rockets were flying at any given vehicle that happened to spawn during those first weeks of Season 1.

Of course more people will use something new and I remember a lot of people using the docket girl in bf2042 but because the maps are so big and there are so many players it wasnt that big of a deal... you know? Played three matches and then uninstalled. Netcode improvement is very noticable but everything else got downgraded. Movement nerfed, sliding/jumping is basically useless, ADS speed nerfed, weird gun accuracy/sway (as mentioned in the video), console AA is probably on the same level as COD's AA. What's also funny, AA is completely mitigating accuracy/sway issues that are happening on PC since I was laser beamed by console players in scenarios where I, as a PC player, would get heavily penalised by the movement.

I hate to be the Berra of bad news nut x defiant is all that in my opinion but of course it's just a beta but for started I wanna point out that there isn't and self heels and secondly the movement isn't all that other and thirdly I would like to see a tdm with by the way is not there as well so if this is the cod kill I doubt that Activision and infinityward has any thing to worry about see we will see what the polished vision brings by the way I'm not a huge fan of cod myself but I rather play that instead of x defiant at this point

I wanted 2 play with my friend and it didnt work. We tried for 20min, restarting everthing we could and I couldnt join him or him me. 😡 The game was allways resetting settings, no mather what I did my Ads fov was allways faster then out of ads. And the aiming felt like 2042 mouse input, but im on controller and have never expirienced 2042 mouse input. Im so mad at this game holy sht

Played the beta and it’s nothing special. Seems extremely unbalanced as of right now, but I’m hoping the final release is much better.
With such high time to kill the abilities are way overpowered, without them it is already a walling hackfest, let alone with added abilities and controller aim assists on top - this is such a very bad formula for disaster and no good report system, let alone solid anti cheat and or active ban report confirm feedback - this is just another shooter doomed to fail.. skins seems nowhere to be found and no solid weapon cosmetics and or skins as far as I could see empty, fast movement but also clunky at the same time like the cod genre ect ect.. Very nice and polished map designs though..
Slower pace Insurgency Sandstorm weapon handling and mechanics would have been better, was hoping it would lean a bit more towards World War 3 and or Rainbow six with slower ttk..

How does it handle people plugging in controller when the match starts ? Will it just nor work, because this was one of the biggest downsides of this game. Legit 90% of the lobby plugged in controller on PC, because it is that broken.

On PS5 in 120 fps this game looks and feels shockingly bad. Like something that would maybe have been ok 10+ years ago. Its also boring AF very generic. Deleted!
Big issue I have noticed is ho broken controller plugged in on PC was. Legit 80% of the lobby was controller and you cant 1vs1 that shit ever the TTK feels like 000.1 sec. This will only be the deciding factor for me, if I will play the game or not. If I could only play vs MnK that would be so much better

@@swampfox8407 not a matter of need, but a matter of taking over the shooter market. More people play BR than Arenas, and i play Arenas. So if they want to dominate the space, then provide that option too. Not everyone wants to jump into a 6v6 tiny map, so they'll practically alienate millions of potential players. That's like competing with Popeyes but only offering Chicken Tenders but no Wings.
