The quick cast of signs is so great i instantly switched to aim at at least a mixed combat/signs build for the 4.00 run i started, when i was going to focus only on combat
Great work as always Neon Knight! Love your work! Can you also check some bugs like the invisible stable-master when the stables at Crows Perch are on fire or the invisible Moritz Diefenthel when you go to save him from burning at the stake? Also if they did fix some bugged/not available dialogues like giving back the monocle to Thaler or asking Fringilla Vigo about Cantarella? P.S. Also if finally Crach gives you the promised reward when you ask him about Hammond and then go and kill him!
Kinda felt idiot seeing that fast travel after finishing the Baron quest. I was like why i didn't see that fast travel icon before instead of running through the castle.. Thanks for confirming that it was added after the entire quest completed.
I can say it with confidence that this game is not just a game of the year, it’s one of the greatest rpg’s of all times. After a year it came out I was going through some personal issues but when I loaded up the game it helped me a lot i was so immersed I forgot all my problems and just enjoyed myself.
One minor bugged thing that was fixed was some of the things Geralt says while riding Roach with the Caparison of Lament equipped from Hearts of Stone. I saw in another channel's older videos of bugs that the audio files existed in the game and were just bugged so he never said them, but after the update it works again.
So I just watched your video on Reason of State and how it breaks if you fail the prerequisite quests in specific ways. (Very well done, btw) Any info on whether they fixed Ves showing up even though she's dead? Or if they changed the flags so you can't still get it? I understand that video took a lot of work on your part, so I totally understand if you're not willing to go through all that again; but I'd love to know if they addressed that at all. And yes, frankly, I don't want to test it all myself lol 😆 Again, I don't expect you to put in all that work just to satiate my curiosity. But I'm sure many people would be interested in knowing if it was touched on in this round of patches.
I actually checked this already. Thankfully I had a working save with Ves dead from just before the Battle of Kaer Morhen, so I didn't have to get through much. I was SURE they would've fixed that one, but sadly ghost Ves is still there lol
@@NeonKnight That's really too bad, though I suppose it's a rather specific set of circumstances that the majority of players just won't encounter. Thanks for answering!

I just bought complete game on sale. Very happy with my decision. Since I’ve been playing with a non-original game for a while and they really do deserve for what they’ve worked on this game. It’s amazing. I wished I could pay even more or regular Price, but Finances are tough Lately. About that bridge and the Dive issue, it happened to me during my second play. And I was like what?! Thanks for all your help and efforts.
one thing I noticed, if you we're above 2 levels of the required level for a mission you'd get 1xp, now you get what you would get when you we're just the exact level
I found another little thing. Now in the House of Respite, by the Nilfgaardian camp, there is a new chest with nilfgaardian armor and nilfgaardian helmet that you can equip, sitting on the window frame. This is definitely new content. Generally, the location feels a bit more finished.
Thanks for the cool video man! You're my favourite Witcher 3 YT channel (to be fair, I don't watch a lot of videos on the Witcher 3, but still..) :))))
Does the charged version of Aard cause ripple effects in water now? This has always bothered me since the effect looks so nice on the normal version but you had to use a mod that enabled it for the large one.

I had to turn all the fancy graphic stuff off cause my laptop is super old and I get frame drops like crazy if I try to use them, but the running no longer consuming stamina thing is just amazing to me. Never realized how bad the stamina thing felt until it was no longer an issue

It feels like none of the changes really were major in nature, but nonetheless all of them are great. I remember the bridge thing from the last time I played the game plus I always thought that most swords were pretty underwhelming. Nice that they changed at least a few of them.
I restarted a game, this really being an all-time favourite of mine. After multiple corrupt save files, frame drops and basically not enjoying the new look, I went back to DirectX 11.
When my Steam automatically downloaded the patch today I thought "Pff, why should I care? Probably just some compatibility stuff, if anything." I didn't even read the patch notes until I saw the title of this video and uuh... holy shit! I can't believe, that we could get this many *insane* improvements for this game after all this time. Them integrating community-made mods that improve the graphics already blew my mind but seeing actual QOL changes and not to mention GOD DAMN FCR3? That mod changes so many things for the better and them just straight up adding that to the official game? Absolutetly crazy. I can't wait to start another playthrough!
My favorite fix that nobody seems to be talking about is that annoying and stupid 1-second stutter that Roach did whenever you moved from a stopped position. Now her motion is perfectly smooth and fluid.
That stupid bridge! Haha. Oh my god I find it hilarious they fixed that. I ALWAYS jumped off on accident. It wasn't until my very last playthrough I jumped diagonally to avoid diving.
thank you for making the witcher videos! personally i'm waiting for the Christmas holiday break to revisit the world (and also waiting for some improvement patches since i hear on PC it's not always golden) so watching those is really nice :)
ok, I have a dumb question. How do I get the update? Does it update automatically when I start the game or will I have to download it? P.S. Love the content, keep up the good work.
It´s automatic. Like any other update or important uptade on steam but u need to wait till it finishes tho. After that you can go to settings (in game I think) and see what new changes you can activate and so on. Like the camera angle, etc etc... but the rest are automatic.
One of my nitpicks was the way Gerald would walk, and when you would turn he would just look weird and stiff as a board, doesn’t even turn his head at all. Does the change of camera where it zooms in behind you allow for a slower walk speed for better immersion atleast? Geralt always had this funny looking speed walk and you can never go slower unless you would be heavy with too many items and the Camera gets closer. Another personal nitpick is the ugly Griffin armor and it’s beer belly look. I’ve always hated that and have avoided all other armors with that similar look. And lastly, my final personal tick, is that Geralt can’t climb downward. There’s a climbing up animation where he pulls himself up, by there is no climbing down animation when he wants to descend from a small ledge. I’ve seen other NPCs like Lambert show a Downward climb animation. With geralt you just have to jump or just walk off the ledge and fall into a roll. Always looked awkward and broke my immersion. And there are instances where you walk down a stair case and geralt just falls and rolls like he tripped on something. That always bugged me too.
The gear upgrade was my biggest headscratcher with Witcher 3, basicly making every non witcher set weapon/ armor useless except for a few like aero. . So glad they fixed it, also winters blade is gonna be sick now
The trick with the bridge is you had to jump earlier than you normally do and the game extends your jump somewhat so you make it. It annoyed the hell out of me because it's not easy to judge the sweet spot.
My man they 100% saw your video and fixed it. What other explanation is there? Im pretty sure some of them watch the vids and took notes because they knew the nextgenup is coming. To make it definitive you gotta fix whats needed and through these fixes acknowledge the community, just like in this case. Be proud.
I always solved the bridge issue by taking a boat to and from the island after the first time I went there and had that stupid swim across bit. That broken bridge got on a lot of people's nerves over the years more than likely and there were probably a lot of complaints.
That's preety neat man.❤️ Although i still have the 1.34 and still have to complete the 2 expansions so i will keep at it without the update. But its great that they fixed all that issues.
What sucks about this for me is that as ecstatic about this update as I am, I had restarted my playthrough for the first time on playstation before ever knowing about it. So now I have to restart my entire story so I can play from the beginning, luckily I was only maybe 25 hours in.
Nice to know, thx mate! And its good that they chose to deal with the Baron Travel Post in that way. I had some modded in there before and fortunately they got deactivated when needed, so that they wouldnt interfere with quest triggers. Still seems i'll be missing some of them, like the one at Hattoris or the one IN Kaer Morhen aswell as the additional and moved Chests, but we'll see if and how those mods work. I Love that they addressed the issues with the swords, making them useful and "legendary or godkilling". The Bridge Update..well its a bit lazy to just fix the bridge, but i guess its better than nothing and show that they've listened.
Man I forgot about that bridge thing, annoyed me too. I'm really happy Winter's Blade and the Bits got upgraded cuz I always found them really cool but underwhelming
Super neat, never beat it on my base ps4, so I've been waiting years for a next gen update, and to finally be able to go back and play it at its best. It feels great.
Great video, i jumped yesterday the 60 fps is a big game changer especially for combat, i was already a few missions away from finishing the main story line so now I'm curious to check if in my game, the swords you mentioned changed in my stash and the new Baron's fast travel pole. Let's keep slaying those monsters, sometimes humans some times real beasts
Something that always bothered me with TW3 was the lack of filters for Completed quests and Witcher gear, too bad this was not a concern they bothered with in this final patch. Oh well.
I believe CDPR will end up choosing Ciri as the Witcher franchises next protagonist due to players investment in the character. Since Witcher: Polaris will be an RPG it is possible to have multiple epilogue's for Ciri's in the Witcher 3 be cannon. Copy the idea of Cyberpunk 2077 life path multiple prologues but they need to be at least one hour long. In the bad ending everyone believes Ciri died but we never saw a body. In addition, CDPR can say Ciri's Elder Blood power was reduced following stopping the white frost.
RE: The Bridge .. there's another one with a similar issue in White Run at the Fortress the Nilf's are in .. with some decent early treasure on the other side .. and it has not been patched/fixed .. lol .. it's not a matter of "making the jump" .. Geralt will do the same thing sometimes and "nerf" his jump .. it's annoying but not nearly as bad as the one you mentioned ..

No way! I'm stoked about the bridge getting fixed. That's awesome
And yes, frankly, I don't want to test it all myself lol 😆
Again, I don't expect you to put in all that work just to satiate my curiosity.
Ya i wanted some of those quest things to be changed but i think this is just a simple and free upgrade so fair
But i hope to God they fix Triss in the new Witcher 1
I remember being able to jump the bridge with Roach. It's been many years at this point, I could be wrong.
I find it hard to believe that CDPR didn’t watch your things we hate video.
Also, it’s hilarious that the guy putting up the marker sleeps in that exact spot at nighttime
Hope there are more of these!
Hopefully they made some of the bosses more challenging, for example eredin.
Really nice touch to have an npc building the signpost over time. That guy is a CDPR dev self insert
I just found your channel dude but I can’t stop binge watching your content, really great stuff 👍🏻👍🏻
This will be my 12th playthrough or so. Maybe more. And these things have always driven me BANANAS. I’m so happy they fixed these things. Wow.
Can't wait to do the baron quest line I actually like that and playing as ciri
Wow the bridge fix is so fantastic! I bet you had to be quite amazed at that!
I'm just getting back into Witcher 3, and really appreciate your well thought out, explained and edited vids.
Thanks.
Dan

The most underrated one is we got a fast travel marker closer to the armorer in crows perch
I literally watched most of the reviews today just for fun because I love the game and props bro your video actually taught us something new nobody knew about respect I know I can’t be easy finding those gems 👊
And fyi they totally had to see your video about the bridge nobody else even brought it before that
Freaking LOVE this game!!!
Lost all my progress tho, after the PS5 version came out, lvl34 and 165hours deep. Mostly side mission and exploring. But i started all over again!!💪let’s go. A must buy for every rpg/fantasy lover
I had to turn all the fancy graphic stuff off cause my laptop is super old and I get frame drops like crazy if I try to use them, but the running no longer consuming stamina thing is just amazing to me. Never realized how bad the stamina thing felt until it was no longer an issue
Why are you playing on a shitty laptop get a ps5 or gaming pc tf 😂
@@babyknight sure man lemme just go manifest some money out of thin air real quick can't believe I didn't think of that before, thanks! Cannot believe I was playing games on a shitty laptop out of pure choice, and totally not because I'm poor this whole time. Incredible!
I didnt know about the fall damage thing! that makes sense though, i started a new playthough because of this channel and i kept thinking "im about to die" and then taking 0 damage
Is Roach fixed too? I mean that problem with him stopping everytime a little obstacle it's in the way
It feels like none of the changes really were major in nature, but nonetheless all of them are great. I remember the bridge thing from the last time I played the game plus I always thought that most swords were pretty underwhelming. Nice that they changed at least a few of them.
Oh man, the crows perch marker is a thing I always wanted
I restarted a game, this really being an all-time favourite of mine. After multiple corrupt save files, frame drops and basically not enjoying the new look, I went back to DirectX 11.
The bridge jump annoyed me too, so you are not alone with that one!
So developers watched your video, i'm glad for you😄
When my Steam automatically downloaded the patch today I thought "Pff, why should I care?
4:40 They was probably like "Oh shit Neon Knight just found that damn bridge we didn't fix, might as well, you know."
That stupid bridge! Haha. Oh my god I find it hilarious they fixed that. I ALWAYS jumped off on accident. It wasn't until my very last playthrough I jumped diagonally to avoid diving.
Minimum height wasn't the problem but the damage scaling, like the formula for it goes from 10 damage to instant death
I was hoping for a Arena style DLC or a way for players to fight stronger and faster monsters.
Hopium
I really can't imagine why
left click, left click, left click, roll, quen, rinse repeat
This is great news! I didn’t expect so many little things to be addressed.
thank you for making the witcher videos!
personally i'm waiting for the Christmas holiday break to revisit the world (and also waiting for some improvement patches since i hear on PC it's not always golden) so watching those is really nice :)
ok, I have a dumb question. How do I get the update? Does it update automatically when I start the game or will I have to download it? P.S. Love the content, keep up the good work.
Its gonna request you to update
It´s automatic. Like any other update or important uptade on steam but u need to wait till it finishes tho. After that you can go to settings (in game I think) and see what new changes you can activate and so on. Like the camera angle, etc etc... but the rest are automatic.
The change to Fleet Footed is nice, making it cost 1 point instead of 5.
My personal highlight is that we can now pet Roach ❤
But the one with the bridge also makes me think CDPR watched your video. Maybe they do 😁
Didn’t even notice this. How do we do it?
@@SwiperLeFox theres no prompt for it but when youre close press the same key for 'jump"
That lion armour is that part of the game i never saw it or heard it mentioned anywhere
I'm really gonna miss that bridge with the hole in Skellige
Moonblade, is a sword you can get at level 5 in Velen at a "spoils of war" location which has 3 sockets..
I just got blade from the bits on a second play threw yesterday and didnt notice the upgrade, very nice. I hope I held on to the other sword too
Huh. Never really had problem with the bridge but it's cool that they fixed it. That Crows Perch post is much appreciated though.
i already sold the hattori and crach sword before i knew about this. i am not happy
Maybe it goes without saying, but *thanks* for the hard work you put in to produce these videos.
Over 700 hours and never noticed that bridge glitch.
The gear upgrade was my biggest headscratcher with Witcher 3, basicly making every non witcher set weapon/ armor useless except for a few like aero. .
So glad they fixed it, also winters blade is gonna be sick now
These hidden changes are so much more important than graphics (at least for me)!
I burst out laughing when you dived, trying to cross the bridge
That's preety neat man.❤️ Although i still have the 1.34 and still have to complete the 2 expansions so i will keep at it without the update. But its great that they fixed all that issues.
I haven't really been into the W3 Community, but holy moly, I didn't know that I'm not the only one who wanted those fixes. Thx for testing
I also hated that bridge where you dived instead of jumping.
In a lot of videos I've seen on the Witcher 3 Geralts default hairstyle and beard look different than in my game.
Great piece of work and editing
Oh yeah I remember that fuckin bridge in Skellige. Took me forever to get back to land after diving in there
That bridge in Skellige has always been the bane of my existence. It always made me mad. I’m grateful they fixed it.
I imagine some dev was trolling us with that bridge, like 'Sike, this ain't assassin's creed'
I'm curretly doing a run rn and I closed the game after playing awhile and it hit me with a 45gb update. Needless to say I got excited for this
