honestly this just looks so much better and at home on a rubber strap, regardless of how nice the bracelet is. This is a true do it all sports watch, especially when youre on your summer vacation to to the beach. Great offering here by phoibos.
Nicest dive watch ive seen...normally i dont like the big bezels with the big numbers but this is nice slim with smal numbers...nice! Looks better than the rlx
This watch is so nice, it hits almost every note so well. But for some reason Phoibos just can't get bezel number typography down to save their lives. This looks like a Google Font and the weight/style just doesn't match the otherwise block-y/tool-y design of the watch. Something more like a Seamaster 300M/Hydroconquest wide type would have rocked on this bezel.
Very nice, reminds me of Zelos in several ways. I like the Red dial. The only miss for me is not having a color matched date window. There getting common at the price level.
Sweet looking watch but I have NH35 fatigue. If it had a Miyota 9000 series movement, I might be interested. I’d even be ok with paying a little more for the Miyota. Thanks for the review. Phoibos is a brand I’ve had my eyes on for a while.
*VERY VERY NICE* - I think this is by far one of the best from Phoibos in quite some time. I've always liked Phoibos but for some reason never pulled the trigger, I think this one may have just changed that. I think this would look great on a beads of rice. Nice job Phoibos and great review, thank you so much.
You mention the Wise Adamascus, which I've pretty much decided on. But then I saw this, with that similar teal fume dial and had second thoughts. Which one is better and more bang for the buck?
Get the wise if you want the slimmer, sleaker, and more dressy case. Movement and 904L is of no value to me really. I love my AD8, I'll probably never sell it. It's exactly what I wanted (see above) The Phoibos, especially at the sale price is a better value. But it's a more angular and tooly watch. Comes on a bracelet (yeah AD8 now has one but I don't like it much) with an on the fly clasp, good lume, and an ultra reliable movement...hard to beat the value there. But it's not as sexy as the AD8 is, not by a long shot.
@@EscapeWheel Thank you for making it even harder, lol! I really like the "dressy" look of the Wise, all polished and with that zirconia ceramic insert it really shines like a diamond. But it's twice as much (even more) as the Phoibos. And speaking of Wise, when is that review coming and which dial did you go for? Perhaps that will make up my mind 🙂 Keep up that great work you do!
@@Thetiredswede man, I need to review it don't I? Putting other newer watches before it. Some good reviews of it already. I went with the teal dial. My only gripe is the bezel...it's WAY too stiff. Other than that, it's amazing.
A very nice watch. Still, prefer my Seestern S435. The NH35 movement is famously reliable and relatively cheap to replace. However, I prefer the Seagull ST2130 high beat (28.8K bph) movement on the S435 (like PT5000 and SW200, a clone of the reliable ETA 2824-2). Also, its applied indices and fantastic dial...exceptional lume on indices and ceramic bezel, double domed sapphire crystal, crisp bezel action, screw-down signed crown, 200m water resistance, exhibition case-back, 316L S.S. case and bracelet (brushed face), two button machined clasp, and price ($200 !!!). Like the Glashutte SeaQ, this homage harkens back to the dive watches of the 1960's (e.g. Le Forban Securite Mer)...but with sapphire crystal and a more modern/superior movement.
I really like Phoibos watches. In my mind, something that makes them a little nicer than other (cheaper) microbrands is the name sounds legit and the logo too. They don't have a stupid Chinglish name. This alone can put me off many watches.
That’s a hell of a watch. I’m just trying to get away from Dive Watches for the foreseeable future though. But their introductory prices are always fantastic. Thanks for the great review!
It looks great BUT to me, it's a copy of the Zelos Mako. They've always had Zelos inspiration but they even copied the asymmetrical case here and the unique spiral design on the dial. Holy moly.
The current mako? I don't see the resemblance, at all. Totally different case, bezel insert, dial makers and hands. The spiral is kind of similar I guess, but even then not a direct copy. Unless you are talking about an older model, these 2 are as similar as an SKX and a sub 🤷

Phoibos have raised their clasp game at last!!!!
Best Phoibos I've seen so far. Very, very nice! Cheers!
Don't know why but the case shape reminds me of the millennium falcon 😂 it's very nice 👍

I really need to get ahold of a Phoibos for review! They look very good!

Look forward to getting this one.

Phoibos has Kraken model with Miyota 9015.. If you can find one. It has a Fantastic bracelet as well
Although the case profile is a little flat it's a great looking watch, probably my favorite Phoibos to date. Great review as well ...thank you
Thank you! Still loving it!

Thank you. I was thinking some sort of flat link bracelet would look great as well.
Good watch at very good price!
This is the nicest 62mas adjacent watch I've seen. And that's coming from someone who has had a 62mas San Martin in heavy rotation for years.

A brushed stainless steel bezel insert would've brought this watch over the top!

The S435 is a fantastic watch, indeed. Enjoy it
Phoibos are on a roll. The Blue Butthole dial looks pretty.
Gotta love a blue butthole! ♥️
It's wears exactly the same as the Zelos Horizons 39mm and 43mm....and I sold my horizons due to this. I love Phoibos....but I don't love this watch.

This is a great review mate. Great attention to detail. That IXDAO on your wrist looks amazing but the name is so weird.
Beautiful watch but that assymetric case makes it a no go for me. It just looks off.
The dial look amazing😍! Phoibos done a great job!
I bought this for my son’s graduation gift. What a great watch
Congrats to you and your son!
Oh man plz someone gift me this or any other dive watch.
I've got a giveaway coming up soon, I'll be gifting a cadisen diver to some random winner.
@@EscapeWheel thanks mate. I'll definitely join. Stay blessed.
