The fact that Geo Jim got a gong and Geo Zack is chimeless is an absolute tragedy
My favourite part of Geoguessr is Jimmy getting so excited to see people and then guessing either Bulgaria or Romania no matter what that person looks like. He thinks every human being on earth looks Bulgarian.
“Hope I don’t run into 4 grown men that are frustrated with their own downfall.”
Make that five, Jimmy 🥺
The boys were a little distracted this episode. Felt like they played down to their competition
I love that there used to be other guys that nailed it and you called them cheaters and now you are the guys who nail the most random places. That’s character development
Christmas Island’d right after the smack talk…a tragedy.
I am a Canadian who now lives in France and remarked one thing about France : you guys don't do well with France. After Jomboy's comment, I did a little research on the history of Bain-de-Bretagne and wasn't expecting much but was quite pleased with my findings. The earliest reports I found from this town were from 1127 they constructed a moat around a feudal castle, the first in the district of bain. In 1340 the Marzelière family took control of the district and held it until 1778 when the family ran out of male heirs. During this time, the city converted to protestantism. The district of Bain was attacked in 1792 by royalists during the French Revolution. However the priest of that district commanded a small force to repel them. 209 soldiers from this small town died during WWI, 9 of them on foreign soil. 30 soldiers from this town died during WWII. The town was then liberated in August of 1944 by an American armoured division during which, the german army took 50 hostages with threats that they would burn the town down due to a resistance member who successfully assassinated a nazi soldier via a bullet to the head.
Jimmy started off in the weird zone today and I am all for it. Either that or he just got ripped after lunch... 1:30 on a Wednesday, Jimmy get's weird
"What language is that again, acrylic?" That almost killed me
Hahahah, so close yet so far away. 😁
That “I don’t think we’ve ever gotten France” by Jimmy got me 😂
You can change your distance units from KM to miles in the settings, if you want!
If Geo Jim's goal was to sabotage the game, mission accomplished!
No links this ep with the shirts on could’ve been causing the GeoGod Guys to be off… needed their energies to align since there were undeniable moments of dominance 🐕
Definitely not locked in this ep lol
Jimmy this whole episode is an ad for kushy dreams
29:59 best part of a geogod vid i've seen in awhile. that line into the jake rage after CHRISTMAS FUCKING ISLANDS was too good
Since Jimmy likes quick tips, here's one very easy to remember: when you see "ão" ou "ões" (like in here: 13:05), it's Portuguese, meaning it's probably either Portugal or Brazil - since the other Portuguese speaking countries seem to never appear on geoguessr. And I think Jake knew it was Portuguese, but couldn't be sure - well, now you can :)
Tip for you. LEARN WHAT COUNTRIES DRIVE ON A CERTAIN SIDE OF THE ROAD. The Auckland guess is clearly on the left but Jim gave 10 other reasons why it IS the US.
As soon as I heard "the kids table" I knew the result.
Quick hint…when you guys are 10,000km off, that is approximately the width of Asia. It seems sometimes when you have alot of distance to make up you aren’t moving far enough.
Guesses with distances greater than 10,000km are actually closer to the opposite point on the globe -- which is useful information if you know how to use it. In the extreme case, getting a distance of around 20,000km is actually great news: you just need to find the *exact opposite* point on the globe
Christmas Island has a distinct Google vehicle -- I think it's a truck. As you spun around you could see it.
You guys have gotten so much better but Chimer's gotta chime, baby! Watch that clock, watch for right- or left-hand drive, etc.
The foreign sounding language in New Zealand is Māori which is the indigenous people who fought off and beat back the British
I'm sorry you were Christmas Islanded by that putz, I'll work day and night to ensure there is no Christmas Island.
My dad was from that one town in Italy. He was a professional cork soaker. His dad was also a cork soaker, and his father before him was also a great cork soaker. Cork soaking runs deep in our family’s history. I hope to be a great cork soaker as well one day.
Love watching every episode. Leaving exactly one possible hint: Every time i've seen the one where it looks like its just backpackers holding a camera walking through the woods, its been Madagascar. I think China also has handheld cameras as well but thats usually more urban.
Can’t fuckin believe y’all got Christmas Island dunked on.. …Happy Holidays
I knew Jake was a Tracy Chapman fan, I vibe like a manscaped 4.0 with him and Jimmy.
My god this was the most ADD episode I’ve ever seen…. FOCUS 🤣
Amazing that you guys can get correct guesses in super random places, but then see an American flag and guess US Virgin Islands.
Madagascar often (or always?) has a person walking with the camera.
Jake “Blowholes” Storiale
How is Jake carrying this team now
Here before Lindsey
Whenever they call Singapore "Singa". My brain starts playing the 1936 Warner Bros movie/song "I love to Singa"
Cannot believe you guys got Christmas Islanded by Sockbro from the top rope
Saw the tasseled windshield and was like "That's Armenian or surrounding area" is that helps for the future?
Christmas Island is only when your google car has a small white truck bed. Don’t confuse it with the African truck bed tho. Very different landscape.
Meta Hint For Jimmy: Truck with snorkel = Kenya
“They just Christmas Islanded us!!!!!!”
Jake singing Ian Van Dahl’s “Castles in the Sky” made me an instant fan.
Hey Geo God Guys, quick hint: when you see an à or ã, it's likely Portuguese, which probably means Brazil or Portugal.
I guess, legally, I gotta leave a comment. Love your stuff y'all ♥️
787 is the area code for all of puerto rico, that's why the pattern was the same as American like Jake said. flag guy I'm putting this on you despite the fact you are only a flag guy and nothing more, but yeah 787 for puerto rico! boricua!
This is maybe the snippiest I've ever seen Jim and Jake.
Fun fact…the outline of the Netherlands looks like a chihuahua riding on a poodle's back.
Just curious, do they blur out the destination on the front of buses? Y'all see a lot of buses and it's pretty common practice to put the destination at the top of the windshield.
I don’t think they blur it out but it’s usually a pretty specific region. Rarely a city and definitely not a country so pretty hard to tell the country from that.
Christmas Island, look for the gray truck bed.
y'all didn't link in the link shirts?
Jake's reaction to Jimmy saying he flaunts geographical knowledge was my wife when I brag about my WORLDE + correct neighbors + correct flag every day.
I guarantee you that you have seen plenty of videos and images of Christmas Island. Its the place with the thousands of red crabs that migrate across it every year.
Oh boy 33 minutes, who could know if they win or lose!!
they definitely popped an eddie before this one
I can't believe you got Christmas Island'd
Geo Jimmy is looking kind of svelt.
we need kids table merch
Jimmy watch out the car following you is Nigeria not Tunisia
I know a Lindsey.
Hint: Blonde lady tourist walking with guides = Madagascar
Jomboy I love you for the Romania comment
Also if you see something that has -ão then you're either in Brazil or Portugal, it's a very common difference between Spanish and Portuguese
@8:40 It is for a different country #Nigeria
30:25 - 😬
What was the rock music intro about
That Christmas Islanding was pretty rough to watch.
SIGN FIND
I’m begging you guys to start paying just a LITTLE attention to what side of the road people drive on. UK, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa drive on the left side. It’s crazy how often you guys guess UK when you can tell it’s not because they are driving on the right.
If you can't get a win at the kid's table, doesn't that imply you're not ready for the main table? I kid, I kid. You guys have gotten pretty good at this game. Some of those finds were pro-level finds. But at least now you all are dead certain where Christmas Island is on a map.
Midway's another instant lock. Always click it once I see the runway, birds, and red/white cylinder thing
Awwwww shid! lez geauxgh
My name isn't Lindsey, but I'm commenting anyways. Am I doing it right?
gg
This is my legally required comment: Nice.
Leaving a comment legally “Nice”
Do you guys feel stupid when you lose to one person?
This was a pitiful game today boys
Matty n Zach seem miserable and like they dont even wanna be there
