Finally! My favorite blacksmith is posting again!
So glad to see you back Joey! You are one of the main reasons I wanted to get to know forge welding so well. You are the welding pro and you were always open and honest with mistakes so we could all learn. I loved your videos

That anvil is sick AF!
Great work as always
Thank you Joey for taking the time to film this process.
You two have amazing skills!
I've missed those close ups! Good to see you Joey
Glad to see new videos.
Glad to see you're still forging! Thanks for the cool video.
Thank you very much for making this wee video.
Though I have read of fire welding many years ago I have never seen it. This was most illuminating.
My life wasn't the same without your videos. Thank You for coming back!
Absolutely manhandled that huge peice of steel! I’m just starting out and that takes some skill just moving that around. Great job!
I like the idea of two separate fires for each part
i love watching you work.
Awesome work Joey!
I as well have missed watching a master at work.
A few years ago you helped me understand this very technique.
Thank you.
Good to see you back again Sir, you have a great channel for blacksmithing educational programs
Great to see you back at forging! You really are one of the best smiths showcasing real traditional techniques on youtube.
I had no idea. I thought the base was cast, and then the face was forge welded on. I never thought you could just build it up in chunks. Super cool video, thanks.
Anvils have been made every which way;
Cast, forged from one piece, forge welded from steel chunks, cast base and steel top.
It is what was easiest to produce to yield the best product for any given place.
me neither! total surprise ...
Wonderfully done
Thanks Joey!
Hey Joey ! Te voilà revenu à la forge !!! Au plaisir ! J.Luc
Awesome video. Glad to see some more blacksmithing content :)
Wow this is incredible. Now a days they get casted and poured. Never would think to keeo adding metal like this!
Very cool! Thanks for the video.
Very nice video man. Thanks
I was wondering if we would ever be blessed again with a new video from you. Thank you sir
THANK YOU FOR FINALLY GETTING SOME MORE CONTENT OUT!!!! Please upload some of your older stuff as well, they were very educational!! Thanks again Joey.
Or at least make the old videos public again. I cannot count the amount of times I showed your video to some one who needed to understand something.
Amazing. That’s a lot of welding. Looks like you know how to do it
Great to see you back Joey.
Great !expecting your back
I'm so thankful to see that...I never thought this could be possible without heavy machinery, You can weld anything my man!!😮...really amazing how easy it seems to watch you do it.
So fascinating! Thank you for sharing
Seeing the hot metal grease when you where wielding the pieces together 🖋🗒👀
did i just see 2 guys keying a forge weld? nice!
great video 👍 thank you
Very interesting, sir. I'd no idea how it was done until I saw this. It also demonstrates how critical timing can be, not just with the temperature and working time. It can be uncomfortable and even embarrassing for two tools to come in contact while aiming for the same spot... (I'm terrible, I know.)
I am terrible too because I am laughing.
Steel on steel is ok.
We are not, electricians.
🍻🇨🇦👨🏭
Unless , of course , you enjoy that sort of thing
Great to have you posting again! I would love to see your old videos back on the channel! I was learning so much from them, and was very bummed when they got taken down.
Alright!! Great work!!
This makes me so happy!
I really love the irony in this process of forging the thing you use to do forging
SO INTERESTING! You are preserving nearly forgotten skills. Thank you for sharing.
Magnifique travail vous êtes un professionnel du soudage à la forge 👍
Joey, thank you for uploading . I’m mesmerized with your work
Two people hammering on one piece at the same time when they have to be quick and its really loud is probably a major skill of smiths in itself.
Praying to see your old videos public again. So educational.
Great demo, thanks. Will we get to see the finished product?
Fantastic to see you back♥
My new favourite video on the internet. So glad you're back Joey
Seeeeehr gut!!!
Happy to this again. The ultimate forge welding project!
Very impressive!!!
Oh yeah, I need one of those! Nicely done!

Freakin sick.
Nice video
Top shelf skills.
Awesome to see you back
Glad to see you are back!
Awesome.. First one in a while I seen that was forged together instead of poured..
Thank you for sharing...

i misst you!
Extremely cool. Wow.
Glad to see your back Joey!
Incredible!
Ouiiii
Such a great project, you're into this for so long you clearly know where you're going. Thank for sharing this footage, great content, especially with all the non-sense mistery that orbits around anvils
