Just love these "shorter" int/adv step classes! This one is perfect for those of us who have been doing step for a while to bump up the intensity or add a riser, or even just take it a tad bit slower...or for those dabbling in int/adv to give it a try. Lots of fun, thank you!
I’m honestly not a commenter but I am truly happy I found your channel. Your workouts are balanced, fun and effective. You are knowledgeable and I love that you actually care that people are doing the workouts correctly. Edit: oh and your STRETCHES ARE EVERYTHING!! Just so you know, lol. They help me tremendously.
With that being said this workout was fun! I have mastered the simpler step workouts and said ok I will do this lol. I struggled just a bit and right when I got it the cool down came on. I said time to rewind! Right as you said it lol.

This workout is great for anyone who wants to graduate to intermediate/advanced step. It’s a slower pace which is not as intimidating. I never use risers but was able to use a set with this one. Thanks!

Thank you Chris! 😊 Slower paced shorter workouts with more advanced choreo are great for old birds like me who prefer more interesting moves but have knees which are sometimes not up to workouts at a faster pace or too long. Shorter workouts often tend to have more basic moves and that doesn't inspire me in the same way. Thank you so much for filling this important gap in the market because I know a lot of older women that feel the same. ❤ (PS, yes I cut my fitness teeth on Jane Fonda videos back in the day, legwarmers and all! 🙈😂)

I loved the music and also the volume. Sometime the music is so low it’s hare to “get into” the workout. But this video was the perfect volume. Loud enough to enjoy and “grove” but it didn’t over power you.
Donna-I find using headphones or AirPods make all the difference with hearing the music better.

Only had enough energy for 20 minutes after a loooong day of teaching college students. But, 20 minutes of movement is better than none! Can't wait to do all 30 this weekend

Always love the step workouts. I admit I follow my phone and need to go back and figure out the straddle shuffle. Ugh messed me up. I just modified. Got all the rest! Super fun. Thank you!

Somehow I missed this live but doing it today enabled me to rewind several times to about 5 minutes remaining to extend the workout. I absolutely love this format: a shorter version of Saturday step with a slower bpm. Great for us older ladies. Please do more of these!! Thanks, Chris. And I hope Anna can get rid of that cone SOON!

I needed this!!!! After coming back from a 15 day road trip we had family stay with us (all good and fun). I was out of the habit and feeling unmotivated, this short and slower paced workout felt great and was fun helping me get back into the swing of things! You’re amazing and we all love you!

I absolutely love intermediate/advanced choreography but I can’t do it at a faster pace all the time because it seems to aggravate my Achilles and hip flexor on one side, even with stretching a lot. This totally made my day! Thanks for providing something for all of us… you are a true treasure ❤
