This is a great video, and honestly the "let it hang" using the cable sleeve looks like the best, cheapest, easiest bet. That combined with some squares to mount power bricks and power supply units to the underside of a desk sounds like the best option. Thanks for this video!
In my school the cables hang down, and i accidently put my leg over on of the cables and then put my leg down and it ripped the mouse and keyboard away from me LOL
You have truly saved my life with this video. I did the tuck it in because I'm a neat freak and all the wired and new peripherals were all over the place. I did exactly what you suggested, and it did take a few hours. Now my wife wants me to do hers...lol...Thanks, this was the best video ever. Keep up the great work.

Color plays a huge role in making your desk look neat as well. If your cable box was white and you used white cable covers to run the wires to the box, it will look much neater because your wall is white. Great video otherwise; and I learned quite a few things from it too.
Ed I've got a tip: Drill a hole in your desk and mousemat underneath your keyboard and feed the keyboard wire through that hole, under the desk to the PC to get that cable off your desk :D do the same with the mouse if its wired :)
+Connor Smith Im well aware of the drill method. These tips are for general cable management and nothing permanent. Also my desk is expensive and I dont want any holes in it lol
What if you want to move your keyboard and mouse WAY out of the way to eat? Or change the setup completely? Or even move the things a little bit to adjust as you game for a hard session? I think I'd just live with only two measly wires going forward on the desk. At most, I'd drill a small hole towards the back of the desk or close to the monitor for the wires to go in.
I know this video is 4 years old but it helped me A TON with recabling my PC. I used the first method and my desk looks amazing now. Thank you so much!

NᴏᴠɪᴄᴇIɴDɪsɢᴜɪsᴇ I feel you, I have a huge APC surge protector, I think I might get a strip outlet and then plug it into the surge protector which I should hide somewhere else

I am using a temporary desk right now when I save money for a new setup so I used the let it hang method. I just used 6 zip ties and it worked really well. I have notches on the wall the conveniently allow the wires to go through and down to meet each other with the table still flush to the wall.
You can drill a hole into the desk under the keyboard cable so you can hide the cable under the table wrapping around to your pc usb socket, you may have to cut a hole into the mousepad but that depends if it’s an XL or XXL mousepad, you can do the same thing for the keyboard on the mouse by drilling a hole through the desk and letting it run under the table making it look like it is wireless (Note: when drilling a hole for the mouse pad leave a little bit of the cable seen so you have mouse slack and will not be caught onto the hole slowing down the mouse, you may also hide these cables with cable race ways)
Hey i just wanted to thankyou for the tips my favorite tip was tuk it in and i hate doing cable managment but this is very very helpfull thankyou very much 🙂
Time stamp 5:46 I would use two 90 degree angle brackets bolted to that big black center brace going arcoss to hide the box behind it you can even paint the bolt heads black and use something from the first half to pick up the hanging cable so that the most you see is one cable that which plugs into the wall! That is good cable managment seeing only one cable from the front below the table! I also use an audio jack extension cable with double back tape under the table like the USB ports are being done on the far left side of the table so that you can plug and go or unplug it let hang and go loud when you need to shake the house down! I will leave the last part up to you to decide!
