As cool as techtoniks is, it just seems to be missing something. I think a lot of the stuff TakeSomeCrime does on youtube is some of the best since its taking the strengths of so many styles and putting them together.

i feel that techtonik/dubstep is awesome because it allows you too feel the music. hardstyle is also awesome because it allows you to express your yourself in crazy ways.
I have super long hair, and oddly, I love doing over the head hand moves with long hair. Makes it go everywhere and adds to the visual. Alternatively, a lack of hair also brings visual to the hand movements themselves and makes them look smoother since you can see them. I personally usually mix tecktonik with industrial styles due to similarities/crossovers in arm and leg pivots such as elbows and knees.
