Thank you so very much for making this steering cover. I have been looking for a nice, easy pattern for quite some time and yours is the easiest and best video that I have come across. If you are able to fit it in your schedule, would you please make bucket seat covers and seat belt covers as well. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I have a trick when adding new colors. When making that first stitch i incorporate the tail with the working yarn to make the first single crochet or double. Then i can just snip the tail off without weaving it in, as it is already crocheted in.
Thank you so much! ☺️ I have another video in the works right now that should be up soon! You can also follow me on Instagram @EndlessYarnSpool for more crochet content!
Hi there! :) I test all of my steering wheel patterns out on my own steering wheel first to make sure they fit very tightly without slipping! The length of this pattern in particular is meant to be a one-size-fits-all. If you’re looking to use a different type of yarn to make your cover, the length would be a little different depending on the thickness and material. When customers order from my Etsy shop, I also add elastic banding in the sides to account for the slight variation in steering wheel sizes. 😊
Can you tell me what is the length of it before you sew the both sides together? Cause I need to make sure I made the same tall And thank you for this beautiful pattern and the elastic idea
Where can I find the Big twist posh yarn? I'm having a super hard time searching for it online - Don't have the convenience of driving to various stores -

You said to cut 4 pieces of elastic 2x length of cover. Does this mean you use two pieces on one side?
That's absolutely correct! :)
How do you know how long to make the steering wheel cover? Are they all the same length?
That's what I want to know.

Love love love ❤️ 😍 question though. Well this same pattern work for acrylic or cotton yarn? Or does it have to be baby blanket type yarn?
Thank you so much! This pattern will work with any bulky weight size 5 yarn of your choice :)

What size hook did you use?
How does the elastic stay?
After you thread it all the way through each side of the cover, knot the ends together two or three times to make sure it’s secure. ☺️
