Hello from Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬! Thanks a million for your extremely helpful podcasts. I have just one true friend whom i can trust 100%. When i was a child i had lots of friends but now just one.
Hello, dearest teachers. I appreciate your efforts and dedication in guiding us toward our goal of mastering English. By the way, I really like your vibes.
Thank you for this episode! I've learned a lot, especially about the difference between "relaxed" and "relaxing." I'm just thinking that there are other personalities that might be less well-liked. We all have our flaws, and not everyone has had a positive friend group like this. 😅 It would be great to learn about these personalities as well.
I feel lucky to my besties who bring something unique to the table on their own way. One of them is the epitome of a bookworm. We are a close knit bunch.❤
Thanks so much for your dedication, this topic being one that teachers use in the speaking parts of English exams... So supportive with us, your listeners.... Not only is the vocabulary helping us but also your prononciation is so clear.... I feel you lead me to a higher level each time.... So, all my thanks for your efforts🎉💐🥂
I really love you so much due to how you choose good topics and how you explain by breaking down the words either in american or british English,I'm sure with you I will be good at English, keep in that way,Thanks.
You discussed a crucial topic. I find it interesting. Thanks for the video. I would like to describe my mate's personality: I am lucky because I have such a wonderful mate. She is humble and generous. What I like about her more is that she keeps the secret and she is honest. She always stands by my side especially in difficult moments and hard times. She is really a real mate. I wish for her all the good ❤️
Hey besties ,hey cuties My friends group means so much to me. I'm really lucky to have them as besties. My best friend Amal is the epitome of a social butterfly. She 's always hosting get togethers and parties. Then there 's sarah, we usually just hang out at her house or do something relaxed. Let 's see. Marwa is such a good friend .she's so funny and she always knows the right thing to say. Everyone brings something unique to the table and they 're all incredibly supportive. We're pretty tight knit and i value their honesty and their different characteristics that they offer.so that's definitely why we 're friends. I consider myself like Ema, i came across as quite shy and reserved at first glance. But once i get to know me i am a riot.
This is commonly spoken and heard while the grammar rule would follow “each is” “each one is” (and we often say that) it’s common to hear “each of my friends are different” in spoken English breaking the rules a little ☺️
U guys r sooo incredible. I like your understandable diction( I no know if im writing correct😅?) and theme u r talking about. I can barely understand your talking , si thank u so much guys. I will continue to improve my English with u😊
Thanks so much for your lovely message! We're so glad you like our videos and our channel! If you keep studying with us I'm sure you will get better and better!
Funny this has become a great question from our students Doing something relaxing is like a spa day, the activity is very relaxing, it’s helping me become more relaxed. “Something relaxed” in English is something calm or easygoing So this is a common phrase to use when we’re just going to spend some time doing something relaxed (watching tv, staying home) or something relaxing (meditation, listen to quiet music, have a massage) Hope that helps!

Thanks for the video, Greets from Indonesia, I wanna ask about word "extroverted". At 12.00 minute mark in this video, Mark said that he's extroverted. Why do we use "extroverted" instead of "an extrovert". I think the extroverted is an adjective and we will need additional noun after that
Hi there! Good question! You are correct, "I am [an extrovert]." is the noun. "I [am extroverted]." is the adjective. I think if we want to focus on someone's general behaviour or personality, we will say the adjective. A: "What's he like?" B: "He's very extroverted, so he has lots of friends and he loves telling stories." But I think if we want to talk about our social habits, like how often you go to parties etc., we use the noun. A: "How often do you go to language exchanges?" B: "I'm kind of [an introvert], so I only go once every 2 months." I hope that makes sense!
Hello Kat I'm enjoying followng your episodes. This one is also very useful and helpful with having lot os of phrases . I'm glad for this video I have one question for you. You use "kind of'" phrase many times. What does it means for example : I kind of light up when I think my friends But my inglish is awful .So forgive me for my mistake in the sentence
Thank you so much for joining the class! "Kind of" is such a common filler especially in American English, it's similar to "a bit" or "a little" and it's often used to soften an adjective or sometimes can make it a little "cute" in a way, so your sentence: "I kind of light up when I think of my friends." means I light up a little when I think of my friends and that sounds very nice! I kind of light up = I light up a little I light up I light up a lot Thanks for your comment and question I hope that helps!
Is it normal to use bestie in UK? And could you both please give us your perspective about each of one country words and create this section in your brilliant lessons. Thanks
Hi! We covered most of your questions in the video, bestie is not used as often in the UK it’s very common in the US. We also usually give both of our perspectives from our own countries in the explanation of the words and phrases ☺️
I've been reading the comments to your video and some of them are full of advanced vocabulary as well. Efficatious and Effective. Is there any difference at all? The browser found the following explanation: effective means able to produce a result in general, efficatious - able to produce a specific desired result. Is that true in both English varians?
We almost never use the word efficacious in spoken English, effective and efficient would be more commonly used quite often. Effective is giving us the result we wanted. Efficacious is similar. Efficient is not wasting any resources. Hope that helps!

Yes I did actually, but I still feel a sort of similarity between them ..
I like the way they both sound similar too, good words ☺️

I do something relaxing. I do something, relaxed.
Funny this has become a great question from our students
Doing something relaxing is like a spa day, the activity is very relaxing, it’s helping me become more relaxed.
“Something relaxed” in English is something calm or easygoing
So this is a common phrase to use when we’re just going to spend some time doing something relaxed (watching tv, staying home) or something relaxing (meditation, listen to quiet music, have a massage)
