One thing I constantly use in Scirra Construct is a Sinus for animation rotation, height etc. no states need. Awesome and cheep way to animated bushers and trees to make the scene come alive. Just add a rotate sinus and a height sinus to an range of objects with a random seed or a random start angle/height and suddenly you have fully animated scene. Or maybe an animated platform or obstacle. Sinus is awesome for so many things.
I've tried following this tutorial now, but this doesn't seem to work... It looks like I don't have the same state/event settings, so I am unable to figure out what setting to apply to make the columns go one after the other. The first column just repeats continuously on a loop, while the second and third go at the same time.
For anyone else with the same issue (like me!), add a start event, and a "transition" action, then a similar dialog to the one in the video will appear
The software is great but they are terrible at making these tutorials. Being a designer or motion artist doesn't necessarily make them good teachers. Teaching requires a different skill set. Other UA-camrs have far better audience engagement or views than them.

Cool video. However, I tried to do this in Spline but I found it difficult to even set the plane as in this video. The plane is mentioned but not added and I couldn't find how to position the rectangle as shown in the video. I couldn't find any tutorials or even documentation for beginners on how to work the UI on Spline. It is unclear how do you change the position of the plane or chapes to 90 degrees, for example. Where is it? Spent 3 days on trying to figure these things out but to no avail. Perhaps, this software is for people who already know how to work with 3d modelling,

It seems as though a state change due to hover or anything else cancels the blink animation. Is there any way to fix this?
