Me. This band was one of my favorites, though I didn't listen to their songs all the time.
Me. I grew up on The Gift of Game & I loved Crazytown. Shifty in particular and it is so sad what happened to him. Of course his death, but I mean his crippling addiction. He did a remix of Butterfly with up and coming rapper EKOH a couple years ago and it was actually really good. He looked like he had gotten his life back. I feel especially sad for his 3 kids😭

and today nobody can claim that they didn't know that drugs cause addiction and problems, so I think it is very toxic to always refer to the fact that if someone has experienced hard times in their life, they should understand or even support the use of drugs

People are quick to judge but have no idea what coming down from that level of fame is like. The industry is a whole other animal. When you’re young you indulge in it all. You don’t think it’s bad. Then it takes you over. Depression & multiple addictions, not limited to sex addiction, drug addiction ect ect. The labels drop you, the people leave, the girls leave, the fame fades & you don’t know who you are. I don’t wish anyone came early on. Or I could be in the same situation. 2 years clean after 25+ years straight of hiding a hardcore opiate addiction. My dad stated me on em as a very young child. I’m so grateful for freedom from the hell of being physically and emotionally dependent on a substance that was killing me just to function each day!

Him and his crew made one of the best songs of all timers. Don't worry about what the haters say. Butterfly is in my top ten favourite songs of all time. This was the song that got women to be randy and easy to take home. They created a musical libido pill for us men.

I feel so weird because I see the old him from when I was a teen and I’m like 'oh my, he’s soooo fit 😅 I forgot how much I fancied him. Then I see him now and my heart breaks and it’s weird because looking back and looking now…. you look at him back then and you know what’s going to happen and it’s hard to see him in the same way 😔
Narcissism caused the end of my marriage (I sent him packing) but my ex doesn’t even bother with his kids now because he would have to be tested for drugs to have contact based on his behaviour over the years and he wants the drugs more. He hasn’t seen them for over 2 years and doesn’t even care. Not even a birthday card for any of them. We’re all doing great now he’s gone and drugs or no drugs he was a wrong un' but seeing your husband change in the way he looked from early 20’s to mid 30’s…. seriously don’t do drugs guys unless you want to look elderly with no place to call home.
