Mary Atcheya Waya, one of the most prolific netballers Malawi has produced. She shares her illustrious career and shares insights on why Malawian Netball, despite featuring tops on the international scene continues to fail to break into the World Top 3.
She is hopeful of the future for Malawi netball adding there is still need to invest more in infrastructure, local leagues, grassroots training and competitions.
Mary comes from a family of prolific netballers and footballers among them Lawrence Lule Waya and Emmie Waya.
