Appreciate the video and showing the ways to mount the camera onto the windshield. wasn't too fond on getting the motorcycle kit since I was planning on getting a chin mount but seems your ways of demonstrating this video helps a lot more.

What would be better on the bike? The oneR or oneRS or the one X2 for track riding? I have the oneR and it feels heavy, afraid it'll peel off at high speeds. Also like you said, the butt view isn't the greatest but I feel like the one X2 could be mounted to the tail with an extension and not be pulled off by wind resistance due to it being a big more aerodynamic. Thoughts?
Stan: Excellent review. I also own a BMW S1000RR (2020 K67 M Sport), so congrats. You’ve answered most of my questions, but I have a few more.
1. How good is the external in-helmet audio? The GoPro with Media Mod is ok, but not great. Most pro motovloggers still go through the extra hassle and expense of a dedicated recorder like the Tascam.
2. How much longer is the battery life with the larger battery?
3. Do you need the cage, or does the base camera have mounting fingers like the GoPro 9/10?
4. How does the weight and form factor of the R/RS work on the chin mount relative to the GoPro 9/10?
BTW: most of the video I take is from behind the windscreen from my Insta360 One X2. I find that the high-frequency vibration buzzes it to an early death without the Insta360 Vibration Damper. Here’s a video example I did to map out a local twisty: ua-cam.com/video/C53xAOJme0M/v-deo.html
Here’s an example from my GoPro 9 with in-helmet mic through the Media Mod, which is a PITA. I find that I need to have the chin curtain in and lower vent closed on my Shoei X-14 to lower the ambient noise sufficiently. ua-cam.com/video/we0aoYVeoaM/v-deo.html
I hope that I can replace at least one of these with the XS.

Hi Stan, new sub here, great content! Hello from the Yosemite National Park area, a motorcycle-riding paradise of curvy roads! Thinking very seriously about an Insta 360 cam, currently have a hero 8 but love these 360 angles. Since everything with the 360 is more app-based, does the app work well on an android device? I've heard not so much. I'm torn now between the new Insta 360 ONE X2 or this newest dual lense RS model but I have a lot invested in the hero 8 & accessories as well but thinking I don't want to hassle with multiple cameras when I can just swap the lense out & thinking that most of the time I'd want 360 angles anyway. Let me know your thoughts and when I'm ready, I'll use your link. We have a BMWF750GS, DRZ400, KLR650, Triumph Tiger & Polaris RZR so I guess there's room for multiple cameras LOL! I'll check out your mounting videos as that's an area we need to work on! If you like, check out some of my videos of the Yosemite area on my channel!
I look forward to your thoughts and answer about the Android Samsung Galaxy 10+ phone with the Insta 360 phone app! I mostly use my own video editing software with GoPro but it's time-consuming!

You forgot to add that the battery life is very poor and because this is the first year of production, there are a lot of tech issues. I had to return mine to get replaced. Wasn’t reading the SD card. They replaced it quickly but I was told they are getting a lot of them retuned, similar to the first year production of the X2. These are great cameras but you should also research the cons of the camera.

He could already be dead. Anyone who rides a motorbike is a lot more at risk and potentially dying immediately than someone in a car, in an accident. If not maimed and disabled. I think. As riders are more exposed on that bike than someone in car.
But let's hope he's still alive though and we'll see more videos from him.

hey, whats that little cylinder shaped adapter you use at the 7:48 mark in your helmet vlog setup vid? you have 2 mics into a splitter but the little flat mic that you use to pickup comms audio goes into adapter then into the splitter. whats the adapter?
