Un ragazzino che diventato grande
E a Orosei Ramadam
He was not poor by any means. I am from the same city where he is from. Both his parents worked in a respectful jobs. He was from a middle class, south indian family. By Indian standards, he was doing much better than a big population back then!!!
thats probably upper middle class for the time.
The term “respectable job” is not politically correct. Each job holds its own significance, whether it involves teaching or daily wage labor.
Malcolm Gladwell in his book "Outliers" says as much. Of course, he did not grow up poor. If he did, he would not be where he is. The one thing that is normally left out in these stories is that these people grow up in very able communities and are hardly what you would define as poor or paupers or have nothings! That is a fact.
@@hayonimengi4171 Westerners tend to evaluate everything based on their socio-economic status, often overlooking the economic disparities in developing countries. Consequently, someone earning $1000 a month in India might be considered impoverished from their standpoint. However, this perspective doesn't hold true.
I am wondering of this the one from Murfreesboro TN
He was not a poor boy in terms of indian context. A 2 bedroom aptt was an upper middle class thing. Yes, he worked hard to get where he is now
Saying dusty floor _ did this man went & dusted his house Forever giving a negative outlook to India He was definitely not from a poor family
As a 90s kid from India, i thought someone who went to US for studies and have 2 Bed own house in a big city in 80s and father is an engineer at an MNC and mother working and have a car, phone etc . Thats super rich to me. I still dont own a home or car lol
Correct.
It doesn't matter at least his Asian or African, makes me happy!!!
He has become the Manchurian tech leftist wacko.
I wished they focused more on the struggles he went through and how he overcame them. This vid made it seem like he just got continuously lucky until he reached the top. I mean, his biggest obstacles in this vid are that bags in America are expensive and he had to ask twice to get Chrome rolled out.
This is funny!😅😅
That’s because being successful is about more than just working hard. You also need to be lucky. If he wouldn’t have gotten the scholarship to stanford, he would have never become the CEO of google.
Hard work creates opportunities, but you also need to be in the right place at the right time. Its very hard to win at poker without being dealt good cards, and its very hard to climb into the C suite.
@@matth8924 true, he did metallurgy at IIT, which is not a top-ranking course, so he wasn't the genius bunch of IIT. He might have faced tough competition, had he applied for computer science at Stanford. Since not many takers in metallurgy in india, he was able to get admission to stanford.. so yes he was hardworking as he went to IIT and Stanford and ended up at Goolge, but defn a little bit of luck was involved.
You can't have benefits by knowing about problems of successful people, you have to go, try and let your own problems come out and then use your mind to solve them your way
As an Indian I had no idea he was directly responsible for the creation of Google Chrome
No he did NOT. Chrome was created by a bunch of Mozilla developers under Schmidt and then (after) Sundar took over his (Eric Schmidt's) position. I know how Indians like to boasts about everything that doesn't belong to them. I've worked with enough here in the states to know.
There are many in late 80s and early 90s who got admission to us and couldn’t go because of unavailability of money including myself. Sundar was not poor by any stretch..
I couldn't afford it in 1978 when the cost was 3000 pounds per year, otherwise my story would have been different.
Being able to afford a phone in 1982 India is far from being poor.
Yup, another "self-made" elitist fraud story.
Hi, I am from India.
There used to be 5 IITs located at 5 different places when MR. Sundar Pichai was graduating. IIT Kharagpur, Bombay, Madras, Delhi, and Kanpur. The main building of the IIT that you have shown here is IIT, Delhi. But Mr Pichai has graduated from IIT, Kharagpur.
What a great dad and family for believing in him ❤
Amen❤
@@laraban it is not a great dad but a rich dad.
This is normal in india, even my parents put all their life saving on me and my education.
I remember the time we used to have food scarcity, we literally took only 1 vacation in 20 yrs, my brother education was impacted bcoz of money issues 😢
Now we are upper middle class, we don't have to look at price tags and can buy anything
They need to make a Hollywood movie on this guy.
Sundar might not be rich, but he was not poor in Indian context as his father was an Engineer.
What an awesome story… hopefully his dad is well taken care of.
That's a nice rags-to-riches story. However, Google gave him too many things to do that he lost focus on so many projects like the Stadia.
I don’t suppose he cares probably more money than he knows what to do with
Indians inspire me to be a better business man. Thank you Sundar for being such a bright light in our world!
Hard work and perseverance and determination got him there. Support of family. Congrats Big boy of India 🇮🇳 ❤ 🙏🙏🕉🕉
Love from South Africa
Yes his dad didn't own emerald mines but Pichai was hardly what we call poor
He was from a middle class background. That's not poor.
Many part of the story gets connected with my life also !! Thank you so much for the inspiration !! Much needed as the difficulties and doubts are hunting the comfort!!
If you are a dad or a mother, take note of this, that little kid right there might change the world someday, it's up to you.
His parents were Indian government employees with good middle class values and income that most of us Indians have grown up with and most successful people like us have gone through very similar journeys. Most of us are successful in foreign countries. Some of course are extremely successful like Sundar, Jai Chowdhary, Narayan Krishnamurthy, etc. That’s why indian migrants are highly focussed and successful because of the strong values, intellectual humility and hard work which lifts the economy of the countries they migrate to.
That outro speech you gave was AMAZING!
i agree about what sundar said about confort. i prefer challenges and struggles so i can grow and learn.
Good job my guy!
These story are so intresting!! Love ur videos!!!
I think he is wonderful, I think people like him should be appreciated for they effort to become what they are now. 👏👏👏 Mr Sudar Pichai, I think you are wonderful. ❤it’s a dream of every parents to have a child like you bravo again 🎊 congratulations 🎉🎊 ❤
A story we need these days.
Very inspiring story. Thank you.
Whatever the boy's circumstances had been, what I learn and like is the fact that he worked hard and pursued his dream and he achieved it!
But we all work HARD. Its just we have different paths in life and we are UNIQUE. We can not replicate PICHAI
It's God's grace first.And rest comes later.
Loved your story, God blessed you! 😊❤
This is a very inspirational story, thanks Hook.
Proud to be Indian 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🤞🙎

Thanks for the inspiring story.
Good work with video
It seems he was from a middle well to do class family not from a poor background as you said it . Anyway thanks much to his parents for believing in him. He became the true definition of the American dream.
Wonderful story hard working
Awesome story.

Ya ya. you are blessed.
Thank u tube for showing this remarkable story of success of a very intelligent man. Congratulations to him and thankful for all the good thibgs we take for granted. Hope he sends some money back to India to help his country men in some way. From Australia.
I am Indian and we are proud of him and he once or twice times in a year visits India and invests billions to grow India in the field of internet technology and to connect more people in India to internet
@@Sans_K5 thats good to know and thanks for positive news. He certainly is a very intelligent man. Best to you and your great country of India.

Major Indian Railway stations have free wi fi which was made possible because of Indian Railways' tie up with Google.
Very Nice ,Proud of You sundar bro

Wow, one opportunity comes another opportunities.👍
It is very difficult to study in Indian education system and getting admission into Institute like iit, the conditions through which he lived in India until completing his graduation made him ceo google.
He is not poor. He is upper middle class. His patents were well earning govt employees.
Wonderful
I am encouraged...
Tank you for calling customer support. How may I be helping you today?

That's the power of an IIT degree..
That's the power of America. Not IIT.
@@chiluxr250 solve one question of IIT then bark
they should really make a movie of him and his journey to ceo

Lol what was with the fire at 10:49 so dramatic 😅
Saya suka dengan cerita Anda, terima kasih 🙏🙏🙏
Respect you. You Inspire others to work hard, perseverance and be successful in life. You got your goal! You didn't depend on your family's wealth.
So did he pay his dad back? 😀
Without a doubt.
Wow! Good story,Sundar Pichai. Kudos! I liked reading about your adventure to be successful at Google. Keep up the good work in technology of today’s invention. Watching it from NYC, USA.
A great success story indeed!
$60 was a month's salary? Incredible...
Always follow your childhood passion, spend every awaken hour on it, don't ever give up and you will succeed.
It's never too late...
don't look at salary earned in India in dollar terms!! It will always be less. For the Indian economy in 1980s and 1990s, it was a very decent salary and both his parents were earning. They belong to a middle class South Indian family. I belong to the same city. I know very well about his economic situation and situation of the country in general back in 1980s and 1990s. He was in no means poor as projected here.
@@EthicalHacker-ie4db Wow, thanks for sharing!
Great
Thats my masterworks cd
"The office shows the man".
I am sure he bought his father a huge mansion for that $1000 investment. This man is THE American Dream.
Great story inspiring Motivation🙌🏻
Sundar pichai👍🏻
Love You Both Sir Ji❤❤❤❤❤❤
May God bless Sundar Sir with many more opportunities to help the world get more good tech products :)
WOW SUNDHAR IS AMAZING ❤❤❤
Wow amazing, i am interested
I like the story, but it is worth mentioning, that if do not pay for the product, then you are the product. And this is why I do not use Chrome or Google search.
Not every dad gives up a year of salary for a plane ticket that may or may not be worth it
I can add👍🙏👍! I am 82, a Civil Engineer in Nairobi, Kenya and wish that I were 28 so that I meet You to learn Advanced Technology!
However by Surfing and searching on Google and getting Technical Solutions, I become Stress-free and feel Younger!
My Regards to Your Better-Half And Vandans 🙏 🙏 to Your Parents.
I will really like to see how he's taking care of his parent after he became rich
He bought them ebikes made in China.
They neglect their parents once he finds a partner that is it he want know who is on or dad
What makes you think he will treat them badly. He is humble and polite.
Crazy
hope you have not forgotten you past and hope you are helping others not just being a big shot!
Now is your turn to help other poor smart and deserving children to dream big and with God's help and blessings, be successful like you.
God bless stories
and now google is losing lawsuits for stealing IPs
Rain drops make flood likewise he slowly but firmly started his career now flourishing with prosperity.
Do not despise the days of small beginnings... ❤
Poor but remember he is born genius ! So likely to succeed!
Wow ! Now he is selling. Google for 400 Billion. Good for him !
Those who turn their face away from meritocracy and instead are waiting for some other to give them entitlement benefits are not going to achieve the success depicted in this humble story.
No one gave him anything on a silver platter. He worked hard to get there.
Lol😂
What the picture for segrey brin is wrong
The village is missing him
Thanks God for him
It is just only a Dream for
Struggling 😊
That is life ❤
The one revolutionary thing in chrome, incognito mode
👌
Wonder how Google is doing.

God bless 🙏
Maasha Allah 🎉❤
Amazing 🎉❤✅🇺🇸☝️Only in Xian America !!!
👌👌🙏
Do not call him a poor boy but a talent who took up the challenge to realize his dream to change this world that too only after leaving the Indian shores. In those days India had many great talented poor boys who did not have a square meal or own roof. This guy was lucky.
Every. Person. Can. Take. Sucsses. By. Hardwork.
now he will need to fight for humanity’s survival.
We are doomed.
